CebPinadayag Cebuano Cebuano Pinadayag Cebuano is the second most widely spoken native language of the Philippines. The complete Cebuano Bible was first published in 1917. This Bible is published today as the Ang Biblia, Cebuano by the Philippine Bible Society. Two separate versions are available: The 'Bugna' version contains the original New Testament from 1917. The 'Pinadayag' version contains a completely revised New Testament which follows a Critical Greek Text. Both versions share the same Old Testament text. The 'Pinadayag' designation is derived from the Cebuano name given to the book of Revelation.
Che1860 Cherokee Cherokee New Testament (1860) with Sequoyah transliterated forms Cherokee New Testament, originally published in 1860 by the American Bible Society. This updated module is based on the online electronic edition dated 2020-08-31 (downloaded 2021-03-13). The source text is maintained by https://github.com/CherokeeLanguage/CherokeeNewTestament.org/ and hosted at https://www.cherokeenewtestament.org Notes: 1. Before Unicode 8.0 Cherokee syllabics made no distinction between lower and upper case letters. 2. The Galvji font includes support for the Cherokee Supplement. 3. This module makes no use of the small letters in the Cherokee Supplement 4. The Sequoyah transliteration is provided in OSIS markup as a help for language learning and proofreading. 5. The transliteration was implemented by means of a bespoke TextPipe filter. 6. This also solves a critical issue found in the online transliteration. 7. Transliterated words are capitalised where they are in the online transliteration. 8. Hyphens are retained in transliterated words only where they are present in the Cherokee words. 9. To separate syllables, the transliteration uses a middle dot (U+00B7) rather than hyphens or word-joiners. 10. Syllables are separated only where it is strictly necessary to ensure that back conversion can be 100% accurate. 11. Back conversion to Cherokee syllabics can be done at http://www.translitteration.com/transliteration/en/cherokee/sequoyah/ 12. See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherokee_syllabary 13. This edition is primarily meant for use by teachers and students of Sahidic Coptic, and to a lesser degree by Coptologists involved in scholarly research, textual criticism, or New Testament translation. :PURPOSE Please note: This text is a work in progress. As such, there is an ongoing effort to standardize the spelling of words in the text. Be aware that version updates periodically appear. The primary purpose is to produce a standardized edition of the Sahidic NT similar to standard Greek editions. An additional purpose of this text is to allow side-by-side comparison with the Greek New Testament. To facilitate this effort, a new version of the Greek text has been developed, which is meant to better represent the Greek text upon which the Sahidic was based. This text is entitled "The New Testament According to the Egyptian Greek Text" [NTAEG] This text does not include representation of either accents or supralinear strokes, since these are used inconsistently in the original texts. There is also a higher degree of standardization in spelling and punctuation; like today's standard Greek master texts, but unlike both the original Sahidic texts, and the PHI and Coptic Society texts. Moreover, as in standard Greek texts, instances of the Nomina Sacra have been expanded to their full forms. This is again a departure from earlier versions of the Sahidic, including the PHI and Coptic Society texts, which are Both inconsistent in their usage. Special thanks to David Brakke of Indiana University Bloomington, Brigitte Comparini of the Packard Humanities Institute, and Michael Heiser, Academic Editor, at Logos Research Systems; for their assistance in making this edition possible. :BASIS Sahidica was initially based (by permission) on the Coptic New Testament, which is an electronic publication, which was edited by David Brakke. (PHI-CD 5.3 dated 7/2/91. Los Altos. Packard Humanities Institute. 1991). During later development, Sahidica was electronically collated against the Coptic CD I by the St. Shenouda The Archmandrite Coptic Society. Los Angeles, CA dated April, 1998. These two editions were reduced to a raw electronic form, which allowed both to be compared electronically letter by letter with Sahidica in order to accurately detect and report every single variation and input error in any of the texts. Though errors are inevitable, the collators of three seperate editions are highly unlikely to make the same errors. Therefore, this method helps to insure the integrity of the Sahidica edition. Throughout the project, Sahidica was also collated against printed editions of the following coptic manuscripts, which manuscripts date from the third century and later. Matt: Pierpont Morgan Library M-569 collated against Bodmer XIX papyrus Mark:* PPalau Rib. Inv.Nr.182 collated against Pierpont Morgan Library M-569 Luke: PPalau Rib. Note on Interpolations The short and long endings of Mark are ommited from the PPalau ms 182, but they do appear in most mss. To better represent the overall Sahidic tradition, both endings are included, but in double brackets. The pericope of the adultress (John 7:53-8:11) does not appear in any Sahidic ms. Herein it is omitted. If you find this module useful, please consider making a donation to Sahidica.

GreVamvas Modern Greek (1453-) Neophytos Vamvas's translation of the Holy Bible into modern Greek (1850) This translation started in 1831 and was published in 1850 by the Orthodox Archimandrite and professor of the National University of Athens, Neophytos Vamvas with the help of other researchers. Considering that the Greek Orthodox Church wouldn't support him, he collaborated with the British and Foreign Bible Society to publish this translation. The text is written in "kathareuousa", a form of greek that is not spoken today in Greece. It is closer to spoken greek though, than the Septuagint (also known "translation of the seventy").

AFV2020 English A Faithful Version A Faithful Version—that reflects the true meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek with fidelity and word for word accuracy, showing the unity of Scripture between the Old and New Testaments. Today, in the face of rampant religious confusion, those who read and study the English Bible deserve a quality translation that can be trusted. Most importantly, hundreds of errors of the KJV have been corrected. Thus, making this Bible the most accurate English translation to date. AKJV English American King James Version American King James Version Produced by Stone Engelbrite This is a new translation of the Bible, based on the original King James Version. It is a simple word for word update from the King James English. I have taken care to change nothing doctrinely, but to simply update the spelling and vocabulary. I have not changed the grammar because that could alter it doctrinely. I am hereby putting the American King James version of the Bible into the public domain on November 8, 1999. Michael Peter (Stone) Engelbrite You may use it in any manner you wish: copy it, sell it, modify it, etc. You can't copyright it or prevent others from using it. You can't claim that you created it, because you didn't. Visit http://www.inspiredidea.com/akj.htm for more information.
ASV English American Standard Version (1901) The American Standard Version (ASV) of the Holy Bible is in the Public Domain. Please feel free to copy it, give it away, memorize it, publish it, sell it, or whatever God leads you to do with it. The American Standard Version of 1901 is an Americanization of the English Revised Bible, which is an update of the KJV to less archaic spelling and greater accuracy of translation. It has been called "The Rock of Biblical Honesty." It is the product of the work of over 50 Evangelical Christian scholars. While the ASV retains many archaic word forms, it is still more understandable to the modern reader than the KJV in many passages. The ASV also forms the basis for several modern English translations, including the World English Bible (http://www.eBible.org/bible/WEB), which is also in the Public Domain. The ASV uses "Jehovah" for Godߴs proper name. While the current consensus is that this Holy Name was more likely pronounced "Yahweh," it is refreshing to see this rendition instead of the overloading of the word "Lord" that the KJV, NASB, and many others do. Pronouns referring to God are not capitalized in the ASV, as they are not in the NIV and some others, breaking the tradition of the KJV. Since Hebrew has no such thing as tense, and the oldest Greek manuscripts are all upper case, anyway, this tradition was based only on English usage around 1600, anyway. Not capitalizing these pronouns solves some translational problems, such as the coronation psalms, which refer equally well to an earthly king and to God.
Anderson English Henry Tompkins Anderson’s 1864 New Testament Available on the Internet Archive @ http://www.archive.org/details/thenewtestament00andeuoft __________________________________________ From the PREFACE: The Author saw, very early in life, that a translation of the New Testament was necessary. He began his investigations at the age of twenty-one, and has faithfully studied the Original since that time. He has made his translation without reference to any version; that is, he adopted no version as a basis. His work is not a Revision of a version, but a Translation; for he was not disposed to be trammeled by any version, but desired to find the truth of God, as it is contained in the Original. The truth thus found, he has endeavored to express in the English language as now spoken.... __________________________________________ DEDICATION: The work has been carried on under many adverse circumstances; but, by the good providence of God, it has been completed. May it go forth, under the Divine blessing, to establish and comfort the hearts of those who love the Truth. H. T. Anderson Harrodsburg KY, March 1864Be The Light Ministries

BWE English Bible in Worldwide English The Bible in Worldwide English (BWE) This New Testament was originally prepared by Annie Cressman, who died in 1993. She was a Canadian Bible teacher in Liberia in West Africa. Whilst teaching students in a Bible School where the language used was English, she found that she was spending more time explaining the meaning of the English than she was teaching the Bible itself. So she decided to write this simple version in easy English so that her students could easily understand. In 1959 the Full Gospel Publishing House in Toronto, Canada, printed a trial edition of the Gospel of Mark. A further edition was published in 1962 by the American Bible Society. The whole New Testament was first published by SOON Publications in India in 1969 in hardback form. This was assisted by Operation Mobilisation (OM) and was reprinted in 1971. The vision to reprint a new edition of the whole New Testament has now been carried out by SOON in conjunction with EPH and OM. Where a change to more modern words has been made, this has been kept in line with the the Authorised Version. You may freely quote up to 500 verses of this New Testament without permission. This version of the Bible is called the Catholic Public Domain Version (CPDV) of the Holy Bible. The Catholic Public Domain Version of the Bible is a translation of the Sacred Bible, Sixtus V and Clement VIII Latin Vulgate edition. Three different versions of the Latin Bible were used in making this translation: the 1861 edition edited by C. Vercellone, the 1885 edition published by Desclee, and the 1914 edition edited by M. Hetzenauer. The 1914 edition was the main text used for the translation, while the other two texts were consulted from time to time. A public domain edition of the Challoner Douay-Rheims Version of the Bible was used as a guide in translating the Latin Bible into English. The sole translator and editor of the Catholic Public Domain Version is Ronald L. Conte Jr. I have relied on God's Providence and Grace in translating and editing the Sacred Bible. I also have used various reference texts, in print and in electronic form. Since the Latin editions of the Bible used in this translation are in the public domain, as the sole translator and editor of the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Sacred Bible, I hereby place the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Sacred Bible in the public domain in perpetuity. As a text in the public domain, the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Sacred Bible has no copyright, trademark, or other legal restrictions. The only restriction is that there can be no restriction. No one may copyright this version of the Bible. No one may trademark the version name: Catholic Public Domain Version (CPDV). And no one may copyright any version of the Bible based on, or derived from, this version of the Bible.

Jubilee2000 English English Jubilee 2000 Bible Translated from the Original Texts in Hebrew and Greek into Spanish by Casiodoro de Reina (1569) and compared with the revision of Cipriano de Valera (1602). Based on the New Testament of Francisco de Enzinas (1543) and on the New Testament (1556) with the Psalms (1557) of Juan Perez de Pineda. This material was translated from Spanish into English by Russell M. Stendal and compared with the Old English Translation of William Tyndale (Pentateuch of 1530, Ploughboy Edition New Testament of 1534, Joshua to 2 Chronicles of 1537, and Jonah). It was also compared word for word with the Authorized Version (by King James) of 1611.

KJVPCE English King James Version: Pure Cambridge Edition The actual King James Bible text of the Pure Cambridge Edition (PCE) has been presented here, free of any typographical error, and is completely correct. It is scrupulously exact in typesetting right down to the italics and punctuation. This precise edition of the King James Bible is wholly based on the received traditional text as was published by Cambridge University Press and by Collins publishers. The Pure Cambridge Edition (first published circa 1900) is the product of the process of textual purification that has occurred since 1611 when the Authorized Version was completed, and has been used (often unwittingly) as the received text for many decades. Millions of copies conformed to this edition were issued by Bible and missionary societies in the twentieth century. This text stands in contrast to all other editions (especially newly edited and modernised ones). The providentially established and correct text has, among other things, “Geba” not “Gaba” at Ezra 2:26.

Noyes English 1869 Noyes Translation A translation of the Greek New Testament of Tischendorf into English by George R. Noyes, originally published in 1869 by the American Unitarian Association. The Old Testament portion is limited to the books of Job through Malachi. In most Bible texts, italics are used to indicate words supplied by the translator. In this translation italics are instead used to indicate emphasis. Explanatory comments provided by the translator as well as readings with limited manuscript evidence are enclosed in square brackets "[ ]". The reader will note that in the middle of many verses words are capitalized which otherwise would be grammatically incorrect. Noyes used a "poetic structure" for many of his verses. Each line of the verse began with a capital. In restructuring these multi-line verses into single line verses the original capitalization was retained.

RKJNT English Revised King James New Testament Revised King James New Testament, 2000 Edition, edited by Brad Haugaard. Welcome to the 2000 edition of the Revised King James New Testament! As in the 1998 edition, I've tried to maintain the feel of the King James Version, frequently using British spellings, and including much of the KJV syntax and even some antiquated words. I've used the masculine in the old, gender-inclusive sense. Brackets [ ] enclose passages that are generally omitted in modern translations. The RKJ New Testament was developed using various modern translations. I did not return to the original languages in developing it. The only change to the 2000 edition is that I've included - marked by brackets - virtually all passages and words from the King James Version that are generally omitted in modern translations. The 1998 version included only more notable passages. Since one of my goals was to make a modern translation of the New Testament widely and inexpensively available, I am placing the 2000 version of the Revised King James New Testament in the public domain. I make no copyright claim for it. You are only answerable to God for how you use it.

RNKJV English Restored Name King James Version Restored Name King James Version The RNKJV uses the KJV but restores the names of God to their original forms. For example, where the KJV renders yod-he-vav-he (YWHW) "the LORD", the RNKJV renders it yod-he-vav-he. Similarly, other Hebrew names like "Elohim" (God/Mighty One(s)) are left in their Hebrew form. The Greek work "Iesous" (Jesus) is also restored to its Hebrew/Aramaic form: "Yahushua". Visit http://www.eliyah.com/ for more information.

UKJV English Updated King James Version The UPDATED King James Version (UKJV) Freely distributable. Public Domain. True to the Authorized Version. Updated for modern reading using today's computing technology. Completed on 25th December, 2000. A Christmas gift to the world. This translation/update is in the Public Domain, so feel free to copy, publish, and use it. No permission in whatsoever form is needed. You already have 100% permission to publish, copy, and distribute the Updated King James Version (UKJV) as much as you want to in any form. However the author of "Translator" requests that the following be observed: - i) A credit line with the following words "I love Jesus (UKJV)." To be stated in the copyright page of the work that involves the UKJV. ii) No modifications to the UKJV, this does NOT include typographical corrections or adding of studies notes, comments and layouts modifications, which are essential to any publications. However NO addition of footnotes that indicates the preference of other manuscripts superiority in any form are allowed, e.g. "Most reliable manuscripts does not have so and so", "The verse x-x are not found in Vaticanus/Sinaiticus" etc. The King James Version has brought life and light since it’s first inception in 1611. Major revivals all over the world and their works since have been attributed to the usage of this translation. While most modern translations rely on texts that are influenced by Codex Vaticanus and Sinaiticus, the KJV uses the traditional text (Textus Receptus, TR). The TR has survived persecution and was washed with the blood of martyrs that defended it and is faithfully preserves (by copying) from one generation to the other. Codex Vaticanus and Sinaiticus however was buried and was not employed until modern scholars promoted them as the ‘most reliable/early text’ in the 18th century. This causes an outbreak of confusions among the texts differences between the KJV and others, e.g. Acts 8:37, Mark 9-20 were either missing or labeled as “Probably not in the original texts” in most modern translations. Whether God preserves His Word as a result of “copying from one generation to another” or “by remaining hidden until the 18th century” is not a matter to be discussed in this preface. Without the Holy Spirit’s illumination, you can have the very original Hebrew/Greek manuscripts and yet gain nothing out of it. The purpose of this update is not to venture further into any form of textual criticism dispute but rather unto another opening for the distribution of God’s Word. Today, new generations of Christians have emerged and the need to update the antiquated/archaic words in the KJV must take place. The NKJV and 21st Century King James are good examples of fulfilling this void, however the Updated KJV (UKJV) decides to take one step further, that is to preserve also the freedom of using it without copyright limitations. With a total of less than 6% of changes to the Authorized KJV, the UKJV promotes the usage of this wonderful translation (KJV) for today’s believers. While translating the KJV and updating its structure and words requires scholars and years of work, updating the KJV with the help of technology requires only a fraction of the time. With this fact in mind and the great computing power available today, the software called “Translator” was created. “Translator” extracts all archaic words and by comparing them with a custom dictionary it will sort and produce a list of all verses that needs updating. The author of “Translator” then views this list and by comparing the words with references to Strong’s Greek/Hebrew concordance, the new or more comprehensible words are then inserts them into the custom dictionary. Later the “Translator” will update all the words in the entire KJV text. The use of technology also guarantees that the work produced is not “biased” in any nature but accurate and true to its meaning. One must always bear in mind that this is not a new translation but an UPDATE. The “Translator” retains the unique English structure of the authorized KJV. The following are the rules and formats used in the updating process: i) Singular and Plural meaning must be retained, e.g. Modern translations have mistakenly translated “ye” into “you” when “ye” actually means 1 or more person. The KJV uses “thee” to refer to singular object and “ye” to multiple. The “Translator” replaces “ye” with “all of you”. ii) Legendary words referring to animals that have no historical evidence will be retained and the possible object is suggested in braces. E.g. “unicorn” is translated as “unicorn (p. ox)”. The “p.” prefix indicates that the following word is a suggested word. iii) Words referring to physical objects that can be replaced without posting any changes in Christian doctrines whatsoever, will be replaced by several words that reflects its meaning as close as possible. E.g. “habergeon” is translated as “armour of jacket” iv) The actual Greek words translated as “word”, “spirit” and “love” are shown with the original word in braces. E.g. “the word (o. rhema) of God is “. The “o.” prefix indicates that the following word is the original word. v) Old words that means differently today are replaced. E.g. “meat” is translated as “food”, “want” as “lack” vi) Old expressions are replaced. E.g. “on a day” is translated as “upon a certain day” vii) Words that have more than one meaning in different context are retained. E.g. “suffer” can mean accept, allow or endure. viii) Words that are not found in any dictionary (invalid) but that is easily understandable and if no proper modern words can replaced them are preserved. E.g. “righteousnesses” (p. suggested word) (o. original word)

FarOPV Persian Persian Holy Bible (Tarjumeh-ye Ghadeem) This translation of the Holy Bible is originally based upon Henry Martyn's translation of the Bible in Persian. After repeated updates it was finally published in the current form in 1896 and again, with new headlines in 1996 and subsequently by Elam Ministries with new headings and cross references. These headlines are not included in this version. It is currently in use within most Iranian and Afghani churches under the name "Tarjumeh-ye Ghadeem" or "Old Translation". FarTPV Persian Today's Persian Version (Mojdeh Baraye Asre Jadid) Today's Persian Version. In Persian it is called "Mojdeh Baraye Asre Jadid" (Good News for A New Age). This new translation of the Bible into Persian (Farsi) has the aim to communicate the written Word of God in a way that will be easy for all people to understand. FinRK Finnish Raamattu Kansalle (2012) EsipuheYhteiskristillisen Raamattu Kansalle -yhdistyksen Uuden testamentin käännös ilmestyi vuonna 1999. Tarkistettu painos, Psalmien kirja sekä Uuden testamentin perussanasto julkaistiin vuonna 2009. Nyt julkaistaan koko Pyhä Raamattu.Raamattu Kansalle -käännöstyön tavoitteena on alkutekstejä kunnioittava käännös. They both are extracted from a well known commentary in France and Switzerland, still very appreciated today : "La Bible annotée". The original would have used the archaic long letter "ſ". Reverting these could not be easily scripted because the letter "f" is also part of the French alphabet. A dictionary based approach might be feasible, but there would still be many cases that require a human decision (e.g. "fera" vs "ſera"). Some spellings are inconsistent. The italics markup in Luc was missing.

WLC Ancient Hebrew Westminster Leningrad Codex This text began as an electronic transcription by Whitaker and Parunak of the 1983 printed edition of Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (BHS). The transcription is called the Michigan-Claremont electronic text and was archived at the Oxford Text Archive (OTA) in 1987. Since that time, the text has been modified to conform to the photo-facsimile of the Leningrad Codex, Firkovich B19A, residing at the Russian National Library, St. Petersberg; hence the change of name. This version contains all 6 of the textual elements of the OTA document: consonants, vowels, cantillation marks, "paragraph" (pe, samekh) markers, and ketiv-qere variants. Morphological divisions have been added. The BHS so-called "paragraph" markers (pe and samekh) do not actually occur in the Leningrad Codex. The editors of BHS use them to indicate open space deliberately left blank by the scribe. Pe ("open" paragraph) represents a space between verses, where the new verse begins on a new column line. This represents a major section of the text. Samekh ("closed" paragraph) represents a space of less than a line between verses. This is understood to be a subdivision of the corresponding "open" section. Since these markers represent an actual physical feature of the text, they have been retained. The WLC is maintained by the Westminster Hebrew Institute, Philadelphia, PA (http://whi.wts.edu/WHI). This edition is based on Christopher V. Kimball's edition (http://www.tanach.us/Tanach.xml), which also adds textual source assignment based in the Pentateuch on the documentary hypothesis.

VietNVB Vietnamese New Vietnamese Bible (2002) ARMS OF HOPE(A VBI Asian entity within Arms of Love, Inc.) P.O.
