The first step toward hearing anyone, including God, is to listen. Turn your ear toward Him and be still. He will speak to you to tell you He loves you. God wants to meet your needs and do more than you could ever think or imagine (see Ephesians 3:20). He will never leave you or forsake you (see Hebrews 13:5). Listen to Him and follow Him all the days of your life. You belong to God; you are one of His sheep, and the sheep know the Shepherd's voice--the voice of a stranger they will not follow (see John 10:4-5). You can hear from God; it is part of your inheritance as a Christian. Don't ever believe otherwise! GOD'S WORD FOR YOU TODAY: God's gift to you is a new life filled with righteousness, peace, joy, and intimacy with Him.
