And did you know that as Jesus lived His life, He asked many, many questions? In fact, He asked 135 recorded questions in the New Testament! Why would He ask so many questions when He is all-knowing and already knows the answers? I believe the reason He asked questions was, very simply, to make people think--and not only to think, but to draw out their convictions. His questions were direct and put people on the spot. They had to either defend their position or walk away. I also believe He asked questions to bring people face to face with their beliefs, so He could give them truth.
