Yna daeth Lefiaid yno i godi'r Arch i lawr, a'r bocs oedd yn dal y modelau aur, a'u gosod nhw ar y garreg fawr. A'r diwrnod hwnnw dyma bobl Beth-shemesh yn cyflwyno offrymau i'w llosgi'n llwyr ac aberthau i'r ARGLWYDD.

Die Leviten hatten nämlich die Lade des HERRN herabgenommen und ebenso das neben ihr stehende Kästchen, in welchem sich die goldenen Kleinodien befanden, und hatten sie auf den großen Stein gestellt; hierauf brachten die Einwohner von Beth-Semes dem HERRN noch an demselben Tage Brand- und Schlachtopfer dar.
