اپنی حکومت کے 18ویں سال میں یوسیاہ نے سافن بن اصلیاہ، یروشلم پر مقرر افسر معسیاہ اور بادشاہ کے مشیرِ خاص یوآخ بن یوآخز کو رب اپنے خدا کے گھر کے پاس بھیجا تاکہ اُس کی مرمت کروائیں۔ اُس وقت ملک اور رب کے گھر کو پاک صاف کرنے کی مہم جاری تھی۔

अपनी हुकूमत के 18वें साल में यूसियाह ने साफ़न बिन असलियाह, यरूशलम पर मुक़र्रर अफ़सर मासियाह और बादशाह के मुशीरे-ख़ास युआख़ बिन युआख़ज़ को रब अपने ख़ुदा के घर के पास भेजा ताकि उस की मरम्मत करवाएँ। उस वक़्त मुल्क और रब के घर को पाक-साफ़ करने की मुहिम जारी थी।
