20:1  In the year that Tharthan entered into Azotus, when Sargon the king of the Assyrians had sent him, and he had fought against Azotus, and had taken it:

20:1  In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it;

20:1  Toho roku, v němž tartán poslaný asyrským králem Sargónem přitáhl k Ašdódu, bojoval proti němu a dobyl jej,

20:2  At that same time the Lord spoke by the hand of Isaiah the son of Amos, saying Go, and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and take off thy shoes from thy feet. And he did so, and went naked, and barefoot.

20:2  At the same time spake the Lord by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

20:2  v onen čas promluvil Hospodin skrze Izajáše, syna Amósova: „Jdi a odpásej si z beder žíněnou suknici a zuj si opánky z nohou.“ On tak učinil a chodil nahý a bosý.

20:2  v onen čas Hospodin promluvil skrze Izaiáše, syna Amosova. Řekl mu: „Jdi a svleč si pytlovinu z beder a zuj si obuv z nohou.“ Učinil to tedy a chodil nahý a bosý.

20:2  v onen čas promluvil Hospodin skrze Izajáše, syna Amósova: Jdi, odvaž si pytlovinu ze svých beder a sandály zuj ze svých nohou. I učinil tak a chodil nahý a bosý.

20:2  Času toho mluvil Hospodin skrze Izaiáše syna Amosova, řka: Jdi a slož žíni z bedr svých, a obuv svou zzuj s noh svých. I učinil tak, a chodil nahý a bosý.

20:2  At the same time spoke the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go, and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

20:2  at that time the Lord spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, "Go, and loosen the sackcloth from off your waist, and take your shoes from off your feet." He did so, walking naked and barefoot.

20:2  At the same time spoke the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off your loins, and put off your shoe from your foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

20:2  in tempore illo locutus est Dominus in manu Isaiæ, filii Amos, dicens : Vade, et solve saccum de lumbis tuis, et calceamenta tua tolle de pedibus tuis. Et fecit sic, vadens nudus et discalceatus.

20:3  And the Lord said: As my servant Isaiah hath walked, naked and barefoot, it shall be a sign and a wonder of three years upon Egypt, and upon Ethiopia,

20:3  And the Lord said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;

20:3  I řekl Hospodin: „Jako chodí můj služebník Izajáš nahý a bosý po tři roky na znamení a předzvěst pro Egypt a pro Kúš,

20:3  Potom Hospodin řekl: „Jako můj služebník Izaiáš chodil tři roky nahý a bosý, aby byl divem a znamením proti Egyptu a Habeši,

20:3  I řekl Hospodin: Tak jako můj otrok Izajáš chodil tři roky nahý a bosý -- jako znamení a div pro Egypt a pro Kúš,

20:3  I řekl Hospodin: Jakož chodí služebník můj Izaiáš nahý a bosý, na znamení a zázrak, třetího roku Egypta a Mouřenínské země,

20:3  And the LORD said, As my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years [for] a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Cush;

20:3  The Lord said, "As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning Ethiopia,

20:3  And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder on Egypt and on Ethiopia;

20:3  Et dixit Dominus : Sicut ambulavit servus meus Isaias nudus et discalceatus, trium annorum signum et portentum erit super Ægyptum et super Æthiopiam ;

20:4  So shall the king of the Assyrians lead away the prisoners of Egypt, and the captivity of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, with their buttocks uncovered to the shame of Egypt.

20:4  So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

20:4  tak požene asyrský král zajatce egyptské a vysídlence kúšské, mladíky i starce, nahé a bosé, s odhaleným zadkem, Egyptu k hanbě.

20:4  právě tak požene asyrský král egyptské zajatce a habešské vyhnance, mladíky i starce – nahé a bosé, s holými zadky, k zostuzení Egypta.

20:4  tak bude asyrský král hnát egyptské zajatce a kúšské vysídlence, chlapce i starce, nahé a bosé, s obnaženými zadky, k hanbě Egypta.

20:4  Tak povede král Assyrský jaté Egyptské a jaté Mouřenínské, mladé i staré, nahé a bosé, s obnaženými zadky, k hanbě Egyptských.

20:4  So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Cushites captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with [their] hind-parts uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

20:4  so the king of Assyria will lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, and with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

20:4  So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

20:4  sic minabit rex Assyriorum captivitatem Ægypti, et transmigrationem Æthiopiæ, juvenum et senum, nudam et discalceatam, discoopertis natibus, ad ignominiam Ægypti.

20:5  And they shall be afraid, and ashamed of Ethiopia their hope, and of Egypt their glory.

20:5  And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

20:5  Budou plni děsu a hanby pro Kúš, k němuž vzhlíželi, a pro Egypt, jímž se chlubili.

20:5  Ti, kdo spoléhali na Habeš a chlubili se Egyptem, pak budou zděšení a zoufalí.

20:5  Zděsí se a budou zahanbeni kvůli Kúši, své naději, a kvůli Egyptu, své slávě.

20:5  I užasnou se a zahanbí nad Mouřeníny, útočištěm svým, a nad Egyptskými, chloubou svou.

20:5  And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Cush their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

20:5  They will be dismayed and confounded, because of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

20:5  And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

20:5  Et timebunt, et confundentur ab Æthiopia spe sua, et ab Ægypto gloria sua.

20:6  And the inhabitants of this isle shall say in that day: Lo this was our hope, to whom we fled for help, to deliver us from the face of the king of the Assyrians: and how shall we be able to escape?

20:6  And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?

20:6  Obyvatelé toho pobřeží v onen den řeknou: ‚Hle, tak to dopadlo s tím, k němuž jsme vzhlíželi, k němuž jsme se utíkali o pomoc, aby nás vysvobodil od asyrského krále. Jak bychom mohli vyváznout my?‘“

20:6  V ten den řeknou obyvatelé tohoto pobřeží: ‚Pohleďte, jak dopadli ti, na něž jsme spoléhali a k nimž jsme se obraceli o pomoc, aby nás osvobodili od asyrského krále! Jak potom unikneme my?‘“

20:6  Obyvatelé toho pobřeží v onen den řeknou: Hle, toto je naše naděje, ke které jsme se utíkali pro pomoc, abychom byli vysvobozeni od asyrského krále! Jak se potom zachráníme my?

20:6  Tedy řekne obyvatel ostrovu tohoto v ten den: Aj hle, toť naše útočiště, k němuž jsme se utíkali o pomoc, abychom vysvobozeni byli z moci krále Assyrského. Jakž bychom my tedy ušli?

20:6  And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such [is] our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?

20:6  The inhabitants of this coast land will say in that day, 'Behold, this is our expectation, where we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria. And we, how will we escape?'"

20:6  And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, where we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?

20:6  Et dicet habitator insulæ hujus in die illa : Ecce hæc erat spes nostra, ad quos confugimus in auxilium, ut liberarent nos a facie regis Assyriorum : et quomodo effugere poterimus nos ?
