7:2  Král se nad pohárem vína stejně jako včera Ester otázal: „Tak jaké máš přání, královno Ester? Bude ti splněno. Žádej půl říše a stane se.“

7:2  Také druhého dne při pití vína řekl král Esteře: Jaká je tvá prosba, královno Estero? Bude ti to dáno. Jaká je tvá žádost až do poloviny království? Bude to vykonáno.

7:2  I řekl král k Ester opět druhého dne, napiv se vína: Jaká jest žádost tvá, Ester královno? A budeť dáno. Aneb jaká jest prosba tvá? Až do polovice království staneť se.

7:6  Ester odpověděla: „Tím protivníkem a nepřítelem je ten zloduch Haman.“ Haman zůstal před králem a královnou ochromen.

7:6  „Ten zavilý padouch,“ řekla Ester, „je tenhle zlosyn Haman!“ Haman zůstal před králem a královnou jako omráčený.

7:6  Ester odpověděla: Tím protivníkem a nepřítelem je tento zlý Haman. Haman se před králem a královnou vyděsil.

7:7  Rozhořčený král povstal od popíjení vína a odešel do zahrady u paláce. Haman přistoupil, aby si od královny Estery vyprosil život, neboť viděl, že na něj dopadne králova zloba.

7:7  Král v návalu hněvu vstal od vína a vyšel ven do zámecké zahrady. Haman zůstal, aby královnu Ester prosil o život. Bylo mu jasné, že u krále už nemá naději.

7:8  And when the king came back out of the garden set with trees, and entered into the place of the banquet, he found Aman was fallen upon the bed on which Esther lay, and he said: He will force the queen also in my presence, in my own house. The word was not yet gone out of the king's mouth, and immediately they covered his face.

7:8  Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

7:8  Když se král vracel ze zahrady u paláce do domu, kde popíjeli víno, padl Haman právě na pohovku, na níž byla Ester. Tu se král rozkřikl: „To chceš dokonce u mne v domě učinit královně násilí?“ Sotva to slovo z králových úst vyšlo, zakryli Hamanovi tvář.

7:8  Vtom se král vrací ze zámecké zahrady do vinného pavilonku a vidí Hamana zhrouceného na Esteřině lehátku. „Tak on se ještě u mě doma bude vrhat na královnu?!“ zvolal král. Jakmile to král vyřkl, eunuchové zakryli Hamanovi tvář.

7:8  Král se vracel ze zahrady paláce do domu, ⌈kde popíjeli víno,⌉ zrovna když Haman padl na lůžko, na němž byla Ester. Král řekl: Chceš snad ještě znásilnit královnu u mě v domě? Jakmile to slovo vyšlo z králových úst, zakryli Hamanovi tvář.

7:8  Potom král navrátil se z zahrady palácu do domu, kdež pil víno, a Aman padl na lůžko, na kterémž seděla Ester. I řekl král: Což ještě násilé učiniti chce královně u mne v domě? A hned jakž slovo to vyšlo z úst krále, tvář Amanovu zakryli.

7:9  And Harbona, one of the eunuchs that stood waiting on the king, said: Behold the gibbet which he hath prepared for Mardochai, who spoke for the king, standeth in Aman's house, being fifty cubits high. And the king said to him: Hang him upon it.

7:9  Vtom řekl Charbóna, jeden z eunuchů, před králem: Hle, také ten kůl, který Haman připravil pro Mordokaje, jenž promluvil dobro ohledně krále, stojí v Hamanově domě, vysoký padesát loket. Král řekl: Pověste ho na něj.

7:9  Mezi tím řekl Charbona, jeden z komorníků, před králem: Aj, ještě šibenice, kterouž připravil Aman Mardocheovi, kterýž mluvil králi k dobrému, stojí při domě Amanově, zvýší padesáti loket. I řekl král: Oběstež ho na ní.
