39:1  At that time Merodach Baladan, the son of Baladan king of Babylon, sent letters and presents to Ezechias: for he had heard that he had been sick and was recovered.

39:1  V ten čas poslal Meródak-baladán, syn Baladánův, král babylónský, Chizkijášovi dopisy a dar; uslyšel totiž, že onemocněl a zotavil se.

39:1  V té době babylonský král Marduk-bal-adan, syn Bal-adanův, poslal Ezechiášovi list a dar, neboť slyšel o jeho nemoci a uzdravení.

39:1  V té době babylonský král Meródak–baladán, syn Baladánův, poslal dopis a dar Chizkijášovi. Slyšel totiž, že byl nemocen a zotavil se.

39:1  Toho času poslal Merodach Baladan syn Baladanův, král Babylonský, list a dary Ezechiášovi, když uslyšel, že nemocen byv, zase ozdravěl.

39:2  And Ezechias rejoiced at their coming, and he shewed them the storehouses of his aromatical spices, and of the silver, and of the gold, and of the sweet odours, and of the precious ointment, and all the storehouses of his furniture, and all things that were found in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion that Ezechias shewed them not.

39:2  And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.

39:2  Chizkijáš měl z nich radost a ukázal poslům svou klenotnici, stříbro a zlato, různé balzámy, výborný olej i celou svou zbrojnici a všechno, co se nacházelo mezi jeho poklady. Nebylo nic, co by jim Chizkijáš ve svém domě a v celém svém vladařství nebyl ukázal.

39:2  Ezechiáš posly radostně přijal a ukázal jim celou svou klenotnici, stříbro, zlato, balzámy a výborný olej. Ukázal jim i celou zbrojnici a všechno, co se jen našlo v jeho pokladnicích. V celém jeho paláci a v celém jeho panství nebylo nic, co by jim Ezechiáš neukázal.

39:2  Chizkijáš se z nich radoval a ukázal jim svou klenotnici, stříbro a zlato, balzámy a vonný olej, celou svou zbrojnici -- všechno, co se nacházelo v jeho skladech. Nebylo nic, co by jim Chizkijáš ve svém paláci a v celém svém panství neukázal.

39:2  I zradoval se z toho Ezechiáš, a ukázal jim dům klénotů svých, stříbra a zlata a vonných věcí, a olej nejvýbornější, tolikéž dům zbroje své, a cožkoli mohlo nalezeno býti v pokladích jeho. Ničeho nebylo, čehož by jim neukázal Ezechiáš v domě svém i ve všem panství svém.

39:2  And Hezekiah was glad of them, and showed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah did not show them.

39:2  Lætatus est autem super eis Ezechias, et ostendit eis cellam aromatum, et argenti, et auri, et odoramentorum, et unguenti optimi, et omnes apothecas supellectilis suæ, et universa quæ inventa sunt in thesauris ejus. Non fuit verbum quod non ostenderet eis Ezechias in domo sua, et in omni potestate sua.

39:3  Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Ezechias, and said to him: What said these men, and from whence came they to thee? And Ezechias said: From a far country they came to me, from Babylon.

39:3  Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.

39:3  Prorok Izajáš přišel ke králi Chizkijášovi a zeptal se ho: „Co říkali ti muži a odkud k tobě přišli?“ Chizkijáš odpověděl: „Přišli ke mně z daleké země, z Babylóna.“

39:3  Pak za králem Ezechiášem přišel prorok Izaiáš a ptal se: „Co říkali ti muži? Odkud přišli?“ „Přišli z veliké dálky, až z Babylonu,“ odpověděl Ezechiáš.

39:3  Pak přišel ke králi Chizkijášovi prorok Izajáš a zeptal se ho: Co říkali ti muži a odkud k tobě přišli? Chizkijáš odpověděl: Přišli ke mně z daleké země, z Babylona.

39:3  V tom přišel prorok Izaiáš k králi Ezechiášovi, a řekl jemu: Co pravili ti muži? A odkud přišli k tobě? I odpověděl Ezechiáš: Z země daleké přišli ke mně, z Babylona.

39:3  Then came Isaiah the prophet to king Hezekiah, and said to him, What said these men? and from whence came they to thee? and Hezekiah said, They have come to me from a far country, [even] from Babylon.

39:3  Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Hezekiah, and asked him, "What did these men say? Where did they come from to you?" Hezekiah said, "They have come from a country far from me, even from Babylon."

39:3  Then came Isaiah the prophet to king Hezekiah, and said to him, What said these men? and from where came they to you? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country to me, even from Babylon.

39:3  Introivit autem Isaias propheta ad Ezechiam regem, et dixit ei : Quid dixerunt viri isti, et unde venerunt ad te ? Et dixit Ezechias : De terra longinqua venerunt ad me, de Babylone.

39:4  And he said: What saw they in thy house? And Ezechias said: All things that are in my house have they seen, there was not any thing which I have not shewn them in my treasures.

39:4  Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.

39:4  Zeptal se: „Co viděli v tvém domě?“ Chizkijáš odvětil: „Viděli všechno, co je v mém domě. Nebylo nic, co bych jim nebyl ze svých pokladů ukázal.“

39:4  „Co ve tvém paláci viděli?“ ptal se dál. „Viděli všechno, co v paláci mám,“ odvětil Ezechiáš. „Není nic, co bych jim ze svých pokladů neukázal.“

39:4  Nato se ho zeptal: Co viděli ve tvém paláci? Chizkijáš odpověděl: Viděli všechno, co je v mém paláci. Nebylo nic, co bych jim ve svých skladech neukázal.

39:4  Řekl ještě: Co jsou viděli v domě tvém? Odpověděl Ezechiáš: Všecko, což jest v domě mém, viděli. Ničeho není v pokladích mých, čehož bych jim neukázal.

39:4  Then said he, What have they seen in thy house? And Hezekiah answered, All that [is] in my house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

39:4  Then he asked, "What have they seen in your house?" Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them."

39:4  Then said he, What have they seen in your house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in my house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

39:4  Et dixit : Quid viderunt in domo tua ? Et dixit Ezechias : Omnia quæ in domo mea sunt viderunt ; non fuit res quam non ostenderim eis in thesauris meis.

39:5  And Isaiah said to Ezechias: Hear the word of the Lord of hosts.

39:6  Behold the days shall come that all that is in thy house, and that thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried away into Babylon: there shall not any thing be left, saith the Lord.

39:6  Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord.

39:6  Hle, přijdou dny a bude odneseno do Babylóna všechno, co je v tvém domě, poklady, které nahromadili tvoji otcové až do tohoto dne. Nic tu nezbude, praví Hospodin.

39:6  Hle, přicházejí dny, kdy vše, co máš v paláci, všechno, co až dodnes nashromáždili tví předkové, bude odneseno do Babylonu. Nezůstane nic, praví Hospodin.

39:6  Hle, přicházejí dny, kdy všechno, co je ve tvém paláci a co až dodnes tvoji otcové nahromadili, bude odneseno do Babylona. Nezůstane nic, praví Hospodin.

39:6  Aj, dnové přijdou, že odneseno bude do Babylona, cožkoli jest v domě tvém, a cožkoli nachovali otcové tvoji, až do tohoto dne; nezůstaneť ničeho, (praví Hospodin).

39:6  Behold, the days come, that all that [is] in thy house, and [that] which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

39:6  'Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have stored up until this day, will be carried to Babylon. Nothing will be left,' says the Lord.

39:6  Ecce dies venient, et auferentur omnia quæ in domo tua sunt, et quæ thesaurizaverunt patres tui usque ad diem hanc, in Babylonem ; non relinquetur quidquam, dicit Dominus.

39:7  And of thy children, that shall issue from thee, whom thou shalt beget, they shall take away, and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

39:7  And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

39:7  I některé tvé syny, kteří z tebe vzejdou, které zplodíš, vezmou a stanou se kleštěnci v paláci krále babylónského.“

39:7  I tvoji synové, tví vlastní potomci, budou zajati a stanou se eunuchy v paláci babylonského krále!“

39:7  A vezmou z tvých synů, kteří z tebe vzejdou, které zplodíš, a stanou se ⌈dvorními úředníky⌉ v paláci babylonského krále.

39:7  I syny tvé také, kteříž pojdou z tebe, kteréž zplodíš, poberou, a budou komorníci při dvoře krále Babylonského.

39:7  And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

39:7  'They will take away your sons who will issue from you, whom you shall father, and they will be eunuchs in the king of Babylon's palace.'"

39:7  Et de filiis tuis, qui exibunt de te, quos genueris, tollent, et erunt eunuchi in palatio regis Babylonis.

39:8  And Ezechias said to Isaiah: The word of the Lord, which he hath spoken, is good. And he said: Only let peace and truth be in my days.

39:8  Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.

39:8  Chizkijáš na to Izajášovi řekl: „Dobré je slovo Hospodinovo, které jsi mluvil.“ A dodal: „Ať je za mých dnů opravdový pokoj.“

39:8  „Slovo Hospodinovo, které jsi řekl, je dobré,“ odpověděl Ezechiáš. Pomyslel si totiž: „Za mých dnů bude pokoj a bezpečí.“

39:8  Chizkijáš řekl Izajášovi: Hospodinovo slovo, které jsi vyslovil, je dobré. A sobě řekl: Protože ⌈za mých dnů⌉ bude pokoj a bezpečí.

39:8  Tedy řekl Ezechiáš Izaiášovi: Dobréť jest slovo Hospodinovo, kteréž jsi mluvil. (A doložil): Proto že pokoj a pravda bude za dnů mých.

39:8  Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good [is] the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.

39:8  Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The Lord's word which you have spoken is good." He said moreover, "For there will be peace and truth in my days."
