Chapter 127
Psal DRC 127:1  A gradual canticle. Blessed are all they that fear the Lord: that walk in his ways.
Psal VulgClem 127:1  Canticum graduum. Beati omnes qui timent Dominum, qui ambulant in viis ejus.
Psal KJV 127:1  Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Psal DRC 127:2  For thou shalt eat the labours of thy hands: blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee.
Psal VulgClem 127:2  Labores manuum tuarum quia manducabis : beatus es, et bene tibi erit.
Psal KJV 127:2  It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
Psal DRC 127:3  Thy wife as a fruitful vine, on the sides of thy house. Thy children as olive plants, round about thy table.
Psal VulgClem 127:3  Uxor tua sicut vitis abundans in lateribus domus tuæ ; filii tui sicut novellæ olivarum in circuitu mensæ tuæ.
Psal KJV 127:3  Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Psal DRC 127:4  Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
Psal VulgClem 127:4  Ecce sic benedicetur homo qui timet Dominum.
Psal KJV 127:4  As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Psal DRC 127:5  May the Lord bless thee out of Sion: and mayst thou see the good things of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
Psal VulgClem 127:5  Benedicat tibi Dominus ex Sion, et videas bona Jerusalem omnibus diebus vitæ tuæ.
Psal KJV 127:5  Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Psal DRC 127:6  And mayst thou see thy children's children, peace upon Israel.
Psal VulgClem 127:6  Et videas filios filiorum tuorum : pacem super Israël.
