4:1  After these things I looked, and behold a door was opened in heaven, and the first voice which I heard, as it were, of a trumpet speaking with me, said: Come up hither, and I will shew thee the things which must be done hereafter.

4:1  Potom jsem měl vidění: Hle, dveře do nebe otevřené, a ten hlas, který předtím ke mně mluvil a který zněl jako polnice, nyní řekl: „Pojď sem, a ukážu ti, co se má stát potom.“

4:1  Potom jsem se podíval, a hle, v nebi se otevřely dveře. Vtom ke mně jako polnice zazněl ten hlas, který jsem slyšel předtím: „Vystup sem a ukážu ti, co se musí stát potom.“

4:2  And immediately I was in the spirit: and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and [one] sat on the throne.

4:3  kdo byl na pohled jako jaspis a karneol; a kolem trůnu duha jako smaragdová.

4:3  Ten, který seděl na trůnu, byl na pohled podobný kameni jaspisu a karneolu, a kolem trůnu byla duha, na pohled podobná smaragdu.

4:3  And he that sat was in appearance like a jasper and a sardine stone: and [there was] a rainbow around the throne in sight like an emerald.

4:3  And the one who sat there looked like a jasper stone and a sardius. There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald to look at.

4:3  And he that sat was to look on like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like to an emerald.

4:3  Et qui sedebat similis erat aspectui lapidis jaspidis, et sardinis : et iris erat in circuitu sedis similis visioni smaragdinæ.

4:4  And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats, four and twenty ancients sitting, clothed in white garments. And on their heads were crowns of gold.

4:4  Okolo toho trůnu čtyřiadvacet jiných trůnů, a na nich sedělo čtyřiadvacet starců, oděných bělostným rouchem, na hlavách koruny ze zlata.

4:4  Okolo trůnu bylo čtyřiadvacet jiných trůnů a na těch trůnech sedělo čtyřiadvacet starců oblečených do bílých rouch a na hlavách měli zlaté koruny.

4:4  Okolo toho trůnu čtyřiadvacet jiných trůnů a na těch trůnech sedělo čtyřiadvacet starších, oblečených do bílých šatů a na hlavách zlaté věnce.

4:4  A okolo toho trůnu bylo trůnů čtyřmecítma, a na těch trůních viděl jsem čtyřmecítma starců sedících, oblečených v roucha bílá. A měli na hlavách svých koruny zlaté.

4:4  And around the throne [were] four and twenty seats; and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

4:4  Around the throne were twenty-four thrones. On the thrones were twenty-four elders sitting, dressed in white garments, with crowns of gold on their heads.

4:4  Et in circuitu sedis sedilia viginti quatuor : et super thronos viginti quatuor seniores sedentes, circumamicti vestimentis albis, et in capitibus eorum coronæ aureæ.

4:5  And from the throne proceeded lightnings and voices and thunders. And there were seven lamps burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

4:5  Od trůnu šlehaly blesky a dunělo hromobití; před trůnem hořelo sedm světel - to je sedmero duchů Božích;

4:5  Z trůnu vycházelo blýskání a hlasy hromobití. Před trůnem hořelo sedm ohnivých pochodní – těch sedm duchů Božích.

4:5  A z toho trůnu pocházelo blýskání, a hromobití, a hlasové. A sedm lamp ohnivých hořících před trůnem, jenž jsou sedm duchů Božích.

4:5  And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices. And [there were] seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

4:6  And in the sight of the throne was, as it were, a sea of glass like to crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four living creatures, full of eyes before and behind.

4:6  A před trůnem bylo něco jako skelné moře, podobné křišťálu. Uprostřed trůnu a kolem trůnu čtyři živé bytosti plné očí zpředu i zezadu.

4:6  Bylo také před tím trůnem moře sklené, podobné křištálu, a u prostřed trůnu a vůkol trůnu čtvero zvířat, plných očí s předu i s zadu.

4:6  And before the throne [there was] a sea of glass like crystal: And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, [were] four living beings full of eyes before and behind.

4:6  Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the midst of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

4:6  And before the throne there was a sea of glass like to crystal: and in the middle of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

4:6  Et in conspectu sedis tamquam mare vitreum simile crystallo : et in medio sedis, et in circuitu sedis quatuor animalia plena oculis ante et retro.

4:7  And the first living creature was like a lion: and the second living creature like a calf: and the third living creature, having the face, as it were, of a man: and the fourth living creature was like an eagle flying.

4:7  And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

4:7  První podobná lvu, druhá býku, třetí měla tvář člověka, čtvrtá byla podobná letícímu orlu.

4:7  První bytost byla podobná lvu, druhá teleti, třetí měla tvář jako člověk a čtvrtá se podobala letícímu orlu.

4:7  První pak to zvíře podobné bylo lvu, a druhé zvíře podobné teleti, a třetí zvíře mající tvárnost člověka, a čtvrté zvíře podobné orlu letícímu.

4:7  And the first living being [was] like a lion, and the second living being like a calf, and the third living being had a face as a man, and the fourth living being [was] like a flying eagle.

4:7  The first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature like a calf, and the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.

4:7  Et animal primum simile leoni, et secundum animal simile vitulo, et tertium animal habens faciem quasi hominis, et quartum animal simile aquilæ volanti.

4:8  And the four living creatures had each of them six wings: and round about and within they are full of eyes. And they rested not day and night, saying: Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.

4:8  And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

4:8  Všechny čtyři bytosti jedna jako druhá měly po šesti křídlech a plno očí hledících ven i dovnitř. A bez ustání dnem i nocí volají: „Svatý, svatý, svatý Hospodin, Bůh všemohoucí, ten, který byl a který jest a který přichází.“

4:8  Každá z těch čtyř bytostí měla po šesti křídlech dokola a v sobě plno očí. Bez přestání, dnem i nocí, říkaly: „Svatý, svatý, svatý je Pán Bůh Všemohoucí, který byl, který je a který přichází.“

4:8  Ty čtyři živé bytosti měly každá po šesti křídlech, dokola i uvnitř plno očí. A bez přestání dnem i nocí říkají: „Svatý, svatý, svatý Pán, Bůh Všemohoucí, ten, který byl a který jest a který přichází.“

4:8  A jedno každé z těch čtyř zvířat mělo šest křídel okolo, a vnitř plná byla očí, a neměla odpočinutí dnem i nocí, říkajíce: Svatý, svatý, svatý Pán Bůh všemohoucí, kterýž byl, a jest, i přijíti má.

4:8  And the four living beings had each of them six wings about [him]; and [they were] full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.

4:8  The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!"

4:8  And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

4:8  Et quatuor animalia, singula eorum habebant alas senas : et in circuitu, et intus plena sunt oculis : et requiem non habebant die ac nocte, dicentia : Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Dominus Deus omnipotens, qui erat, et qui est, et qui venturus est.

4:9  And when those living creatures gave glory and honour and benediction to him that sitteth on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever:

4:9  And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,

4:9  A kdykoli ty bytosti vzdají čest, slávu a díky tomu, který sedí na trůnu a je živ na věky věků,

4:9  A kdykoli ty bytosti vzdají slávu, čest a díky Sedícímu na trůnu, Živému na věky věků,

4:9  And when those living beings give glory, and honor, and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,

4:10  The four and twenty ancients fell down before him that sitteth on the throne and adored him that liveth for ever and ever and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

4:10  The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

4:11  Thou art worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honour and power. Because thou hast created all things: and for thy will they were and have been created.

4:11  „Jsi hoden, Pane a Bože náš, přijmout slávu, čest i moc, neboť ty jsi stvořil všechno a tvou vůlí všechno povstalo a jest.“
