27:1  Joatham was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: the name of his mother was Jerusa the daughter of Sadoc.

27:5  Válčil s králem Amónovců a přemohl je. Amónovci mu dodali toho roku sto talentů stříbra a deset tisíc kórů pšenice a deset tisíc ječmene. To mu odváděli Amónovci i ve druhém a třetím roce.

27:5  Bojoval s amonským králem a zvítězil. Amonci mu toho roku museli odvést 100 talentů stříbra, 10 000 korů pšenice a 10 000 korů ječmene. Totéž mu odváděli i druhý a třetí rok.

27:5  Bojoval také s králem synů Amónových a přemohl je. Synové Amónovi mu v tom roce dali sto talentů stříbra, deset tisíc kórů pšenice a deset tisíc kórů ječmene. To mu přinesli synové Amónovi i ve druhém a třetím roce.
