9:1  And David said: Is there any one, think you, left of the house of Saul, that I may shew kindness to him for Jonathan's sake?

9:1  And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?

9:1  David se zeptal: „Zdalipak zůstal ještě někdo ze Saulova domu? Rád bych mu kvůli Jónatanovi prokázal milosrdenství.“

9:1  Jednou se David zeptal: „Zůstal ještě někdo ze Saulova domu naživu? Kvůli Jonatanovi bych mu chtěl projevit přízeň.“

9:1  David se zeptal: ⌈Zůstal ještě někdo⌉ z domu Saulova, abych mu prokázal milosrdenství kvůli Jónatanovi?

9:1  Tedy řekl David: Jest-li ještě kdo pozůstalý z domu Saulova, abych jemu učinil milosrdenství pro Jonatu?

9:1  And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

9:2  Now there was of the house of Saul, a servant named Siba: and when the king had called him to him, he said to him: Art thou Siba? And he answered: I am Siba thy servant.

9:2  And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.

9:2  K Saulovu domu patřil otrok jménem Síba. Toho předvolali k Davidovi. Král mu řekl: „Ty jsi Síba?“ On odvětil: „Tvůj otrok.“

9:2  V Saulově domě sloužíval otrok jménem Cíba, a tak ho zavolali k Davidovi. „Ty jsi Cíba?“ zeptal se král. „Tvůj služebník!“ odpověděl.

9:2  Dům Saulův měl otroka jménem Síba. Zavolali ho k Davidovi. Král se ho zeptal: Ty jsi Síba? Odpověděl: Tvůj otrok.

9:2  Byl pak služebník domu Saulova, jehož jméno bylo Síba. I zavolali ho k Davidovi. I řekl král jemu: Ty-li jsi Síba? Odpověděl: Jsem služebník tvůj.

9:2  And [there was] of the house of Saul a servant whose name [was] Ziba. And when they had called him to David, the king said to him, [Art] thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant [is he].

9:2  There was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba, and they called him to David; and the king said to him, "Are you Ziba?" He said, "Your servant is he."

9:2  And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him to David, the king said to him, Are you Ziba? And he said, Your servant is he.

9:3  And the king said: Is there any one left of the house of Saul, that I may shew the mercy of God unto Him? And Siba said to the king: There is a son of Jonathan left, who is lame of his feet.

9:3  And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

9:3  Král se otázal: „Už nezůstal ze Saulova domu nikdo? Rád bych mu prokázal Boží milosrdenství.“ Síba králi odvětil: „Je tu ještě Jónatanův syn, zchromený na nohy.“

9:3  „Nezbyl ze Saulova domu ještě někdo?“ zeptal se ho král. „Chtěl bych mu projevit Boží přízeň.“ „Zůstal ještě jeden Jonatanův syn, chromý na nohy,“ odpověděl králi Cíba.

9:3  Král se zeptal: Zůstal ještě někdo z domu Saulova, abych mu prokázal Boží milosrdenství? Síba králi odpověděl: Zůstal ještě Jónatanův syn, chromý na nohy.

9:3  Řekl jemu král: Jest-liž ještě kdo z domu Saulova, abych jemu učinil milosrdenství Boží? Odpověděl Síba králi: Ještě jest syn Jonatův chromý na nohy.

9:3  And the king said, [Is] there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him? and Ziba said to the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, [who is] lame in [his] feet.

9:3  The king said, "Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him?" Ziba said to the king, "Jonathan has yet a son, who is lame of his feet."

9:3  And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him? And Ziba said to the king, Jonathan has yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

9:3  Et ait rex : Numquid superest aliquis de domo Saul, ut faciam cum eo misericordiam Dei ? Dixitque Siba regi : Superest filius Jonathæ, debilis pedibus.

9:4  Where is he? said he. And Siba said to the king: Behold he is in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel in Lodabar.

9:4  And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lo–debar.

9:4  Král se otázal: „Kde je?“ A Síba králi řekl: „Ten je v Lódebaru, v domě Makíra, syna Amíelova.“

9:4  „A kde je?“ ptal se král. „V domě Machira, syna Amielova, v Lo-debaru,“ odpověděl Cíba.

9:4  Král se ho zeptal: Kde je? Síba králi odpověděl: Je v domě Makíra, syna Amíelova, v Lódebaru.

9:4  I řekl jemu král: Kdež jest? Odpověděl Síba králi: Tam jest v domě Machiry, syna Amielova v Lodebar.

9:4  And the king said to him, Where [is] he? And Ziba said to the king, Behold, he [is] in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lo-debar.

9:4  The king said to him, "Where is he?" Ziba said to the king, "Behold, he is in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, in Lo Debar."

9:5  Then King David sent, and brought him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel of Lodabar.

9:5  Král David ho dal tedy přivést z Lódebaru, z domu Makíra, syna Amíelova.

9:5  Král David pro něj poslal a nechal si ho z domu Makíra, syna Amíelova, z Lódebaru přivést.

9:6  And when Miphiboseth the son of Jonathan the son of Saul was come to David, he fell on his face and worshipped. And David said: Miphiboseth? And he answered: Behold thy servant.

9:6  Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!

9:6  Když Mefíbóšet, syn Jónatana, syna Saulova, přišel k Davidovi, padl tváří k zemi a klaněl se. David řekl: „Mefíbóšete!“ On pravil: „Zde je tvůj otrok.“

9:6  A když přišel Mifibozet syn Jonaty, syna Saulova, k Davidovi, padl na tvář svou a poklonil se. I řekl David: Mifibozete. Kterýž odpověděl: Aj, služebník tvůj.

9:6  Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!

9:6  Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, and fell on his face, and showed respect. David said, "Mephibosheth." He answered, "Behold, your servant!"

9:6  Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come to David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold your servant!

9:6  Cum autem venisset Miphiboseth filius Jonathæ filii Saul ad David, corruit in faciem suam, et adoravit. Dixitque David : Miphiboseth ? Qui respondit : Adsum servus tuus.

9:7  And David said to him: Fear not, for I will surely shew thee mercy for Jonathan thy father's sake, and I will restore the lands of Saul the father, and thou shalt eat bread at my table always.

9:7  And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

9:7  David mu řekl: „Neboj se. Rád bych ti prokázal milosrdenství kvůli Jónatanovi, tvému otci. Vrátím ti všechna pole tvého děda Saula a budeš každodenně jídat u mého stolu.“

9:7  „Neboj se,“ řekl mu David. „Kvůli tvému otci Jonatanovi ti chci projevit přízeň. Vrátím ti všechny pozemky tvého děda Saula a budeš vždy jíst u mého stolu.“

9:7  David mu řekl: Neboj se! Jistě ti prokážu milosrdenství kvůli tvému otci Jónatanovi a vrátím ti všechny polnosti tvého děda Saula. Trvale budeš jíst pokrm u mého stolu.

9:7  Řekl jemu David: Neboj se, nebo jistě učiním s tebou milosrdenství pro Jonatu otce tvého, a navrátím tobě všecka pole Saule otce tvého, a ty jídati budeš za stolem mým vždycky.

9:7  And David said to him, Fear not: for I will surely show thee kindness for the sake of Jonathan thy father, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

9:7  David said to him, "Do not be afraid of him; for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father's sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your father. You shall eat bread at my table continually."

9:7  And David said to him, Fear not: for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father's sake, and will restore you all the land of Saul your father; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.

9:7  Et ait ei David : Ne timeas, quia faciens faciam in te misericordiam propter Jonathan patrem tuum, et restituam tibi omnes agros Saul patris tui : et tu comedes panem in mensa mea semper.

9:8  He bowed down to him, and said: Who am I thy servant, that thou shouldst look upon such a dead dog as I am?

9:8  And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?

9:8  On se poklonil a řekl: „Co je tvůj služebník, že se obracíš k mrtvému psu, jako jsem já?“

9:8  Mefibošet se mu začal klanět. „Co je tvůj služebník?“ říkal. „Proč se obracíš k mrtvému psu, jako jsem já?“

9:8  Nato se Mefíbóšet poklonil a řekl: Co je tvůj otrok, že se zajímáš o ⌈mrtvého psa,⌉ jako jsem já?

9:8  Kterýž pokloniv se, řekl: Co jest služebník tvůj, že jsi se ohlédl na psa mrtvého, jakýž jsem já?

9:8  And he bowed himself, and said, What [is] thy servant, that thou shouldst look upon such a dead dog as I [am]?

9:8  He bowed down, and said, "What is your servant, that you should look on such a dead dog as I am?"

9:8  And he bowed himself, and said, What is your servant, that you should look on such a dead dog as I am?

9:8  Qui adorans eum, dixit : Quis ego sum servus tuus, quoniam respexisti super canem mortuum similem mei ?

9:9  Then the King called Siba the servant of Saul, and said to him: All that belonged to Saul, and all his house, I have given to thy master's son.

9:9  Then the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master’s son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.

9:9  Král předvolal Síbu, sluhu Saulova, a řekl mu: „Všechno, co patřilo Saulovi a celému jeho domu, jsem dal vnukovi tvého pána.

9:9  Král pak zavolal Cíbu, někdejšího Saulova sluhu, a řekl mu: „Všechno, co patřilo Saulovi a celému jeho domu, jsem dal vnukovi tvého pána.

9:9  Král zavolal Saulova služebníka Síbu a řekl mu: Všechno, co patřilo Saulovi a celému jeho domu, jsem dal vnukovi tvého pána.

9:9  Zatím povolal král Síby, služebníka Saulova a řekl jemu: Cožkoli měl Saul i všecka čeled jeho, to jsem dal synu pána tvého.

9:9  Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said to him, I have given to thy master's son all that pertained to Saul, and to all his house.

9:10  Thou therefore and the sons and thy servants shall till the land for him: and thou shalt bring in food for thy master's son, that he may be maintained: and Miphiboseth the son of thy master shall always eat bread at my table. And Siba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

9:10  Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master’s son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master’s son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

9:10  Ty mu budeš obdělávat půdu, ty se svými syny a svými otroky budeš dodávat chléb k obživě pro vnuka svého pána. Mefíbóšet, vnuk tvého pána, bude každodenně jídat u mého stolu.“ Síba měl patnáct synů a dvacet otroků.

9:10  Ty budeš se svými syny a služebníky obdělávat jeho půdu a sklízet úrodu, aby vnuk tvého pána měl dost potravy. A Mefibošet, vnuk tvého pána, bude vždy jíst u mého stolu.“ (A Cíba měl patnáct synů a dvacet služebníků.)

9:10  Ty se svými syny a svými otroky mu budeš obdělávat zemi a sklízet úrodu, aby vnuk tvého pána měl pokrm a jedl jej. Mefíbóšet, vnuk tvého pána, však bude jíst pokrm trvale u mého stolu. Síba měl patnáct synů a dvacet otroků.

9:10  Budeš tedy jemu spravovati rolí, ty i synové tvoji i služebníci tvoji, a snášeti budeš, aby měl syn pána tvého pokrm, kterýž by jedl, ale Mifibozet syn pána tvého jídati bude vždycky za stolem mým. (Měl pak Síba patnácte synů a dvadceti služebníků.)

9:10  Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in [the fruits], that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread always at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

9:10  You shall till the land for him, you, and your sons, and your servants; and you shall bring in the harvest, that your master's son may have bread to eat: but Mephibosheth your master's son shall eat bread always at my table." Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

9:11  And Siba said to the king: As thou my lord the hast commanded thy servant, so will thy servant do: and Miphiboseth shall eat at my table, as one of the sons of the King.

9:11  Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons.

9:11  Odpověděl králi: „Vše, co král, můj pán, svému služebníku přikázal, tvůj služebník splní, ačkoli Mefíbóšet může jíst u mého stolu jako jeden z královských synů.“

9:11  „Tvůj služebník udělá, cokoli můj pán a král přikáže,“ odpověděl Cíba králi. Mefibošet pak jídal u Davidova stolu jako jeden z královských synů.

9:11  Síba řekl králi: Všechno, co můj pán a král svému otroku přikázal, tvůj otrok učiní, ⌈ačkoliv Mefíbóšet jedl u mého⌉ stolu jako jeden z královských synů.

9:11  Odpověděl Síba králi: Vedlé všeho, jakž přikázal pán můj král služebníku svému, tak učiní služebník tvůj, ačkoli i Mifibozet mohl by jídati za stolem mým jako jeden z synů královských.

9:11  Then said Ziba to the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, [said the king], he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.

9:11  Then Ziba said to the king, "According to all that my lord the king commands his servant, so your shall servant do." So Mephibosheth ate at the king's table, like one of the king's sons.

9:11  Then said Ziba to the king, According to all that my lord the king has commanded his servant, so shall your servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.

9:12  And Miphiboseth had a young son whose name was Micha: and all that kindred of the house of Siba served Miphiboseth.

9:13  But Miphiboseth dwelt in Jerusalem: because he ate always of the king's table: and he was lame of both feet.
