34:1  The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, when Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth, that were under the power of his hand, and all the people fought against Jerusalem and against all the cities thereof, saying:

34:2  Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel: Go, and speak to Sedecias king of Juda, and say to him: Thus saith the Lord: Behold I will deliver this city into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.

34:2  Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:

34:2  „Toto praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele: Jdi a řekni Sidkijášovi, králi judskému: Toto praví Hospodin: Hle, vydám toto město do rukou babylónského krále a ten je vypálí.

34:2  „Tak praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele – Jdi a řekni judskému králi Cidkiášovi: Tak praví Hospodin – Hle, vydávám toto město do rukou babylonského krále a ten je vypálí ohněm.

34:2  Toto praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele: Jdi a mluv k judskému králi Sidkijášovi. Řekni mu: Toto praví Hospodin: Hle, dávám toto město do ruky babylonského krále a ten ho spálí ohněm.

34:2  Takto praví Hospodin Bůh Izraelský: Jdi a rci Sedechiášovi králi Judskému, rci, pravím, jemu: Takto dí Hospodin: Aj, já dám toto město v ruku krále Babylonského, aby je vypálil ohněm.

34:2  Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:

34:3  Ani ty mu z rukou neunikneš. Určitě budeš chycen, budeš mu vydán do rukou. Pohlédneš babylónskému králi do očí a on s tebou bude mluvit ústy k ústům. Přijdeš do Babylóna.

34:3  Ani ty před ním neunikneš, ale budeš jistě chycen a padneš mu do rukou. Spatříš babylonského krále vlastníma očima a bude s tebou mluvit tváří v tvář. Půjdeš do Babylonu!

34:3  Ty z jeho ruky neunikneš, ale jistě budeš chycen a vydán do jeho ruky. Na vlastní oči uvidíš babylonského krále a ⌈bude s tebou mluvit tváří v tvář⌉ a přijdeš do Babylona.

34:3  I ty neznikneš ruky jeho, ale jistotně jat a v ruku jeho vydán budeš, a oči tvé uzří oči krále Babylonského, i ústa jeho s ústy tvými mluviti budou, a do Babylona se dostaneš.

34:3  And thou shalt not escape from his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thy eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.

34:4  Ale slyš slovo Hospodinovo, Sidkijáši, králi judský, toto o tobě praví Hospodin: Nezemřeš mečem,

34:4  Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD concerning thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword:

34:4  Attamen audi verbum Domini, Sedecia, rex Juda : Hæc dicit Dominus ad te : Non morieris in gladio,

34:5  But thou shalt die in peace, and according to the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings that were before thee, so shall they burn thee: and they shall mourn for thee, saying: Alas, Lord: for I have spoken the word, saith the Lord.

34:5  But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the Lord.

34:5  zemřeš pokojně. Jako spalovali vonné látky k poctě tvých otců, králů dřívějších, kteří byli před tebou, tak je budou spalovat i tobě. Budou nad tebou naříkat: ‚Běda, pane!‘ Já jsem promluvil to slovo, je výrok Hospodinův.“

34:5  zemřeš v pokoji. Jako se zažíhal pohřební oheň k poctě tvých předků, dávných králů, kteří byli před tebou, tak zažehnou oheň i tobě a budou tě oplakávat: ‚Ach pane!‘ Takové slovo jsem promluvil, praví Hospodin.“

34:5  Zemřeš v pokoji. Jako pálili ohně pro tvé otce, dřívější krále, kteří byli před tebou, tak budou pálit oheň pro tebe a oplakávat tě: Ach, pane! protože já jsem promluvil slovo, je Hospodinův výrok.

34:5  V pokoji umřeš. A jakož pálívali otcům tvým, králům předešlým, kteříž byli před tebou, tak páliti budou tobě, a říkajíce: Ach, pane, kvíliti budou nad tebou; nebo slovo toto já mluvil jsem, dí Hospodin.

34:5  [But] thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings who were before thee, so shall they burn [odors] for thee; and they will lament thee, [saying], Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.

34:5  sed in pace morieris : et secundum combustiones patrum tuorum, regum priorum qui fuerunt ante te, sic comburent te : et : Væ domine, plangent te : quia verbum ego locutus sum, dicit Dominus.

34:6  And Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words to Sedecias the king of Juda in Jerusalem.

34:7  And the army of the king of Babylon fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Juda that were left, against Lachis, and against Azecha: for these remained of the cities of Juda, fenced cities.

34:7  When the king of Babylon’s army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.

34:7  Vojsko babylónského krále bojovalo proti Jeruzalému a proti všem zbylým judským městům, proti Lakíši a Azece; z opevněných judských měst zůstala jen tato města.

34:7  Vojsko babylonského krále tenkrát útočilo na Jeruzalém a na všechna zbylá judská města – na Lachiš a Azeku. To byla totiž jediná opevněná města, která v Judsku zbyla.

34:7  když vojsko babylonského krále vedlo válku proti Jeruzalému a proti všem zbývajícím judským městům, proti Lakíši a proti Azece, protože ⌈to byla jediná opevněná judská města, která zůstala.⌉

34:9  That every man should liberate his man-servant, and every man his maid-servant, [being] a Hebrew or a Hebrewess; that none should retain them in service, [to wit], a Jew his brother.

34:10  Audierunt ergo omnes principes et universus populus qui inierant pactum ut dimitteret unusquisque servum suum et unusquisque ancillam suam liberos, et ultra non dominarentur eis : audierunt igitur, et dimiserunt.

34:11  But afterwards they turned: and brought back again their servants and their handmaids, whom they had let go free, and brought them into subjection as menservants and maidservants.

34:11  Ale potom zas obrátili a donutili k návratu otroky a otrokyně, které propustili na svobodu. Podmanili si je opět za otroky a otrokyně.

34:13  Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth from the land of Egypt, out of the house of bond-men, saying,

34:13  "Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: 'I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,

34:13  Thus said the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slaves, saying,

34:13  Hæc dicit Dominus Deus Israël : Ego percussi fœdus cum patribus vestris in die qua eduxi eos de terra Ægypti, de domo servitutis, dicens :

34:14  At the end of seven years, let ye go every man his brother being a Hebrew, who hath been sold to thee, so he shall serve thee six years: and thou shalt let him go free from thee: and your fathers did not hearken to me, nor did they incline their ear.

34:14  At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.

34:14  ‚Koncem sedmého roku propustíte každý svého hebrejského bratra, který se ti prodal. Bude ti sloužit šest let a pak ho propustíš od sebe na svobodu.‘ Ale vaši otcové mě neposlechli a nenaklonili ucho.

34:14  ‚Sedmého roku každý propustíte svého hebrejského bratra, který se ti prodal do otroctví. Odslouží u tebe šest let, ale potom jej propustíš na svobodu.‘ Vaši otcové mě ovšem neposlechli, vůbec si toho nevšímali.

34:14  Po sedmi letech propustíte každý svého hebrejského bratra, který se ti prodá; bude ti sloužit šest let a pak ho od sebe propustíš jako svobodného. Ale vaši otcové mě neposlouchali a nenakláněli ucho.

34:14  Po vyplnění sedmi let propouštívejte jeden každý bratra svého Žida, kterýž by prodán byl tobě, a sloužilť by šest let, propusť, pravím, jej svobodného od sebe. Ale neuposlechli otcové vaši mne, aniž naklonili ucha svého.

34:14  At the end of seven years dismiss ye every man his brother a Hebrew, who hath been sold to thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not to me, neither inclined their ear.

34:17  Proto Hospodin praví toto: Protože jste mě neuposlechli a nevyhlásili každý svobodu svému bratru a bližnímu, hle, vyhlašuji proti vám, je výrok Hospodinův, volnost meči, moru a hladu. Učiním vás obrazem hrůzy pro všechna království země.

34:17  A proto tak praví Hospodin: Neposlechli jste mě. Nevyhlásili jste svobodu každý svému bratru, svému bližnímu. Hle, já tedy vyhlašuji ‚svobodu‘ vám, praví Hospodin – svobodu pro meč, mor a hlad! Učiním vás odstrašujícím příkladem pro všechna království země.

34:17  Proto takto vám praví Hospodin: Neposlechli jste mě, abyste každý vyhlásil propuštění svému bratru a svému bližnímu. Hle, já vyhlašuji propuštění vám, je Hospodinův výrok, propuštění pro meč, mor a hlad a učiním vás úděsem pro všechna království země.

34:22  Hle, dám příkaz, je výrok Hospodinův, a přivedu je zpět na toto město. Budou proti němu bojovat, dobudou je a vypálí je. Z judských měst učiním zpustošený kraj, budou bez obyvatele.“

34:22  Hle, vydám rozkazy, praví Hospodin, a přivedu je k tomuto městu zpět. Zaútočí na ně, dobudou je a spálí je. Judská města obrátím v trosky, kde nikdo nebydlí.“
