14:1  A psalm for David. Lord, who shall dwell in thy tabernacle? or who shall rest in thy holy hill?

14:1  The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

14:1  Pro předního zpěváka, Davidův. Bloud si v srdci říká: „Bůh tu není.“ Všichni kazí, zohavují, na co sáhnou, nikdo nic dobrého neudělá.

14:1  Pro předního zpěváka. Žalm Davidův. Blázen myslí, že Bůh není! Zkažení jsou, ohavnost páchají, není, kdo dobro konal by!

14:4  Což nevědí všichni, kdo páchají ničemnosti, kdo jedí můj lid, jako by jedli chleba, ti, kdo Hospodina nevzývají,

14:4  Copak nic nevědí všichni ti zločinci? Jako by jedli chléb, můj lid hltají – proč by k Hospodinu volali?!

14:4  Opravdu tomu nerozumí nikdo z činitelů nepravosti, kteří pojídají můj lid, jako by jedli chléb, a kteří k Hospodinu nevolají?

14:4  Zdaliž nevědí všickni činitelé nepravosti, že zžírají lid můj, jako by chléb jedli? Hospodina pak nevzývají.

14:5  Jednou je ale přepadne zděšení – Bůh je s pokolením poctivých!

14:7  Kéž už přijde Izraeli ze Sijónu spása! Až Hospodin změní úděl svého lidu, bude Jákob jásat, Izrael se zaraduje.

14:7  Kéž Izraeli vzejde ze Sionu spása, kéž Hospodin svůj lid obnoví! Jákob pak bude radostně jásat, Izrael se bude veselit!

14:7  Kéž by byla Izraeli dána spása ze Sijónu! Až Hospodin změní úděl svého lidu, bude Jákob jásat, Izrael se bude radovat!

14:7  Ó by z Siona dáno bylo spasení Izraelovi. Když Hospodin zase přivede zajaté lidu svého, plésati bude Jákob, a veseliti se Izrael.
