1:1  The word of the Lord, that came to Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Ozias, Joathan, Achaz, and Ezechias, kings of Juda, and in the days of Jeroboam, the son of Joas, king of Israel.

1:2  The beginning of the Lord's speaking by Hosea: and the Lord said to Hosea: Go, take thee a wife of fornications, and have of her children of fornications: for the land by fornication shall depart from the Lord.

1:2  The beginning of the word of the Lord by Hosea. And the Lord said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the Lord.

1:2  Začíná Hospodinova řeč skrze Ozeáše. Hospodin Ozeášovi řekl: „Jdi, vezmi si nevěstku a ze smilstva měj děti. Země jen smilní a smilní, odvrací se od Hospodina.“

1:2  The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go take to thee a wife addicted to lewdness and children of lewdness; for the land hath committed great lewdness, [departing] from the LORD.

1:2  When the Lord spoke at the first by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea, "Go, take for yourself a wife of prostitution and children of unfaithfulness; for the land commits great adultery, forsaking the Lord."

1:4  And the Lord said to him: Call his name Jezrahel: for yet a little while, and I will visit the blood of Jezrahel upon the house of Jehu, and I will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

1:4  And the Lord said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

1:4  I řekl mu Hospodin: „Pojmenuj ho Jizreel, neboť já zakrátko potrestám Jehúův dům za krev prolitou v Jizreelu; zruším království izraelského domu.

1:4  Hospodin Ozeášovi řekl: „Dej mu jméno Jizreel, Boží setba. Už brzy totiž potrestám Jehuův dům za jizreelské vraždění a skoncuji s izraelským královstvím.

1:4  Hospodin mu řekl: Pojmenuj ho Jizreel, protože už jen chvilku a navštívím dům Jehúův s trestem za krev prolitou v Jizreelu a ukončím kralování domu izraelského.

1:4  Tedy řekl jemu Hospodin: Nazoviž jméno jeho Jezreel; nebo po malém času já vyhledávati budu krve Jezreel na domu Jéhu, a přestati káži království domu toho.

1:4  And the LORD said to him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little [while], and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

1:6  And she conceived again, and bore a daughter, and he said to him: Call her name, Without mercy: for I will not add any more to have mercy on the house of Israel, but I will utterly forget them.

1:6  And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Lo–ruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.

1:6  Opět otěhotněla a porodila dceru. Řekl mu: „Pojmenuj ji Lórucháma (to je Neomilostněná), protože nadále nebudu izraelskému domu milostiv; dost jsem jim promíjel.

1:6  Gomer pak počala znovu a porodila dceru. Hospodin Ozeášovi řekl: „Dej jí jméno Lo-ruchama, Nemilovaná. Už se totiž nad domem Izraele nesmiluji; víckrát už jim neodpustím.

1:6  Otěhotněla znovu a porodila dceru. Řekl mu: Pojmenuj ji Lórucháma, protože už nebudu mít déle slitování nad domem izraelským, ale jistě se postavím proti nim.

1:6  Opět počala znovu a porodila dceru. I řekl jemu: Nazov jméno její Lorucháma; nebo již více neslituji se nad domem Izraelským, abych jim co prominouti měl.

1:6  And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And [God] said to him, Call her name Lo-ruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.

1:6  Et concepit adhuc, et peperit filiam. Et dixit ei : Voca nomen ejus, Absque misericordia, quia non addam ultra misereri domui Israël, sed oblivione obliviscar eorum.

1:7  And I will have mercy on the house of Juda, and I will save them by the Lord, their God: and I will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.

1:7  But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

1:7  Domu judskému však budu milostiv. Zachráním je skrze sebe, Hospodina, jejich Boha; nezachráním je lukem, mečem a válkou, koni a jezdci.“

1:7  Nad domem Judy se ale smiluji a zachráním je – nikoli ovšem skrze luk a meč, bitvu, koně či jezdce, ale skrze Hospodina, jejich Boha.“

1:7  Nad domem judským se slituji a zachráním je kvůli Hospodinu, jejich Bohu. Nezachráním je kvůli luku, meči, boji, koňům či jezdcům.

1:7  Ale nad domem Judským se slituji, a vysvobodím je skrze Hospodina Boha jejich; nebo nevysvobodím jich lučištěm a mečem, ani bojem, koňmi neb jezdci.

1:7  But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

1:8  And she weaned her that was called Without mercy. And she conceived, and bore a son.

1:9  I Řekl: „Pojmenuj ho Lóami (to je Nejste-lid-můj), neboť vy nejste můj lid a já nejsem váš Bůh.“

1:10  And the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, that is without measure, and shall not be numbered. And it shall be in the place where it shall be said to them: You are not my people: it shall be said to them: Ye are the sons of the living God.

1:10  Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

1:10  A však bude počet synů Izraelských jako písku mořského, kterýž ani změřen, ani sečten býti nemůže. A stane se, že místo toho, kdež řečeno jim bylo: Nejste vy lid můj, řečeno jim bude: Synové Boha silného a živého jste.

1:11  I budou shromážděni synové Judští a synové Izraelští spolu, a ustanovíce nad sebou hlavu jednu, vyjdou z této země, ačkoli veliký bude den Jezreel.

1:11  Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be assembled, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up from the land: for great [shall be] the day of Jezreel.
