1:1  The Ancient to the lady Elect and her children, whom I love in the truth: and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth,

1:6  A to je láska: žít podle Božích přikázání; to je to přikázání, o kterém jste od počátku slyšeli, že máte podle ní žít.

1:7  For many seducers are gone out into the world who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a seducer and an antichrist.

1:7  Do světa vyšlo mnoho těch, kteří vás svádějí, neboť nevyznávají, že Ježíš Kristus přišel v těle; kdo takto učí, je svůdce a antikrist.

1:7  Do světa totiž vyšla spousta bludařů, kteří nevyznávají Ježíše Krista přišlého v těle. Každý takový je bludař a antikrist.

1:7  Neboť do světa vyšli mnozí svůdci, kteří nevyznávají Ježíše Krista přicházejícího v těle; ⌈každý takový člověk je⌉ svůdce a antikrist.

1:7  Nebo mnozí bludaři vyšli na svět, kteříž nevyznávají Jezukrista přišlého v těle. Takový každý jest bludař a antikrist.

1:7  For many deceivers have entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver, and an antichrist.

1:9  Kdo zachází dál a nezůstává v učení Kristovu, nemá Boha; kdo zůstává v jeho učení, má i Otce i Syna.

1:9  Každý, kdo nezůstává v Kristově učení, ale opouští je, ztrácí Boha. Kdo zůstává v jeho učení, ten má Otce i Syna.

1:9  Whoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

1:10  If any man come to you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into the house nor say to him: God speed you.

1:11  For he that saith unto him: God speed you, communicateth with his wicked works.

1:11  For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

1:11  kdo ho vítá, má účast na jeho zlých skutcích.

1:11  Kdo takového vítá, stává se jeho spoluviníkem.

1:11  kdo ho zdraví, má účast na jeho zlých skutcích.

1:11  Nebo kdož takového pozdravuje, obcuje skutkům jeho zlým.

1:11  For he that wisheth him happiness, is partaker of his evil deeds.

1:12  Having more things to write unto you, I would not by paper and ink: for I hope that I shall be with you and speak face to face, that your joy may be full.
