سمندر پر ختم ہوئی۔ اُس کی شمالی سرحد مغرب میں سمندر سے شروع ہوئی اور قاناہ ندی کے ساتھ چلتی چلتی تفّوح تک پہنچی۔ وہاں سے وہ شمال کی طرف مُڑی اور مِکمتاہ تک پہنچ کر دوبارہ مشرق کی طرف چلنے لگی۔ پھر وہ تانت سَیلا سے ہو کر یانوح پہنچی۔ مشرقی سرحد شمال میں یانوح سے شروع ہوئی اور عطارات سے ہو کر دریائے یردن کے مغربی کنارے تک اُتری اور پھر کنارے کے ساتھ جنوب کی طرف چلتی چلتی نعرہ اور اِس کے بعد یریحو پہنچی۔ وہاں وہ دریائے یردن پر ختم ہوئی۔ یہی افرائیم اور اُس کے کنبوں کی سرحدیں تھیں۔

समुंदर पर ख़त्म हुई। उस की शिमाली सरहद मग़रिब में समुंदर से शुरू हुई और क़ाना नदी के साथ चलती चलती तफ़्फ़ुअह तक पहुँची। वहाँ से वह शिमाल की तरफ़ मुड़ी और मिक्मताह तक पहुँचकर दुबारा मशरिक़ की तरफ़ चलने लगी। फिर वह तानत-सैला से होकर यानूह पहुँची। मशरिक़ी सरहद शिमाल में यानूह से शुरू हुई और अतारात से होकर दरियाए-यरदन के मग़रिबी किनारे तक उतरी और फिर किनारे के साथ जुनूब की तरफ़ चलती चलती नारा और इसके बाद यरीहू पहुँची। वहाँ वह दरियाए-यरदन पर ख़त्म हुई। यही इफ़राईम और उसके कुंबों की सरहद्दें थीं।

Wahāṅ wuh Dariyā-e-Yardan par ḳhatm huī. Yihī Ifrāīm aur us ke kunboṅ kī sarhaddeṅ thīṅ.
