Chapter 3
Psal DRC 3:1  The psalm of David when he fled from the face of his son Absalom.
Psal KJV 3:1  Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
Psal VulgClem 3:1  Psalmus David, cum fugeret a facie Absalom filii sui.
Psal DRC 3:2  Why, O Lord, are they multiplied that afflict me? many are they who rise up against me.
Psal KJV 3:2  Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
Psal VulgClem 3:2  Domine, quid multiplicati sunt qui tribulant me ? Multi insurgunt adversum me ;
Psal DRC 3:3  Many say to my soul: There is no salvation for him in his God.
Psal KJV 3:3  But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Psal VulgClem 3:3  multi dicunt animæ meæ : Non est salus ipsi in Deo ejus.
Psal DRC 3:4  But thou, O Lord, art my protector, my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
Psal KJV 3:4  I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
Psal VulgClem 3:4  Tu autem Domine, susceptor meus es, gloria mea, et exaltans caput meum.
Psal DRC 3:5  I have cried to the Lord with my voice: and he hath heard me from his holy hill.
Psal KJV 3:5  I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.
Psal VulgClem 3:5  Voce mea ad Dominum clamavi ; et exaudivit me de monte sancto suo.
Psal DRC 3:6  I have slept and have taken my rest: and I have risen up, because the Lord hath protected me.
Psal KJV 3:6  I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
Psal VulgClem 3:6  Ego dormivi, et soporatus sum ; et exsurrexi, quia Dominus suscepit me.
Psal DRC 3:7  I will not fear thousands of the people surrounding me: arise, O Lord; save me, O my God.
Psal KJV 3:7  Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Psal VulgClem 3:7  Non timebo millia populi circumdantis me. Exsurge, Domine ; salvum me fac, Deus meus.
Psal DRC 3:8  For thou hast struck all them who are my adversaries without cause: thou hast broken the teeth of sinners.
Psal KJV 3:8  Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
Psal VulgClem 3:8  Quoniam tu percussisti omnes adversantes mihi sine causa ; dentes peccatorum contrivisti.
Psal DRC 3:9  Salvation is of the Lord: and thy blessing is upon thy people.
