12:1  But at that time shall Michael rise up, the great prince, who standeth for the children of thy people: and a time shall come, such as never was from the time that nations began, even until that time. And at that time shall thy people be saved, every one that shall be found written in the book.

12:1  And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

12:1  „V oné době povstane Míkael, velký ochránce, a bude stát při synech tvého lidu. Bude to doba soužení, jaké nebylo od vzniku národa až do této doby. V oné době bude vyproštěn tvůj lid, každý, kdo je zapsán v Knize.

12:1  „V tom čase povstane Michael, veliký kníže a tvého lidu ochránce. Čas soužení tehdy nastane, jaké dosud nebylo od chvíle, kdy se stali národem. V tom čase bude tvůj lid zachráněn – každý, kdo je zapsán ve knize.

12:1  A právě v onom čase povstane Michael, ten velký velitel, jenž zastává tvůj lid, a nastane čas soužení, k jakému nedošlo, co jsou národem, až do onoho času. A právě v onom čase unikne tvůj lid, každý, kdo se nachází zapsán v knize.

12:1  Toho času postaví se Michal, kníže veliké, kterýž zastává synů lidu tvého, a bude čas ssoužení, jakéhož nebylo, jakž jest národ, až do toho času; toho, pravím, času vysvobozen bude lid tvůj, kdožkoli nalezen bude zapsaný v knize.

12:1  And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

12:2  And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth, shall awake: some unto life everlasting, and others unto reproach, to see it always.

12:2  Mnozí z těch, kteří spí v prachu země, procitnou; jedni k životu věčnému, druzí k pohaně a věčné hrůze.

12:2  Tehdy se probudí mnozí, kdo v prachu země spí. Jedni k věčnému životu, jiní k hanbě, pro věčnou výstrahu.

12:2  Tu mnozí z těch, kdo spí v prachu země, procitnou, jedni pro ⌈život věčný,⌉ ale druzí k naprosté hanbě pro věčnou ohavnost.

12:3  Prozíraví budou zářit jako záře oblohy, a ti, kteří mnohým dopomáhají k spravedlnosti, jako hvězdy, navěky a navždy.

12:4  But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time appointed: many shall pass over, and knowledge shall be manifold.

12:4  But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

12:4  A ty, Danieli, udržuj ta slova v tajnosti a zapečeť tuto knihu až do doby konce. Mnozí budou zmateně pobíhat, ale poznání se rozmnoží.“

12:4  Ty Danieli, však ta slova zachovej v tajnosti a zapečeť tu knihu pro poslední čas. Mnozí budou procházet sem a tam a poznání se rozroste.“

12:5  And I, Daniel, looked, and behold as it were two others stood: one on this side upon the bank of the river, and another on that side, on the other bank of the river.

12:5  Já Daniel jsem viděl toto: Hle, povstali dva další muži, jeden na tomto břehu veletoku, druhý na onom břehu veletoku,

12:5  Já Daniel jsem pak spatřil další dva muže – jeden stál na tomto břehu řeky a druhý na protějším.

12:5  Nato jsem já, Daniel, spatřil, jak jiní dva stojí, jeden na tomto břehu řečiště a druhý na onom břehu řečiště.

12:6  And I said to the man that was clothed in linen, that stood upon the waters of the river: How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

12:6  a ten se otázal muže oblečeného ve lněném oděvu, který byl nad vodami veletoku: „Kdy nastane konec těch podivuhodných věcí?“

12:6  Ten se zeptal muže oděného plátnem, stojícího nad hladinou řeky: „Jak dlouho to potrvá? Kdy už ty hrůzy skončí?“

12:6  Jeden řekl muži oděnému lněným oděvem nahoře nad vodami v řečišti: Za jak dlouho nastane konec těch podivuhodností?

12:6  A řekl muži tomu oblečenému v roucho lněné, kterýž stál nad vodou té řeky: Když bude konec těm divným věcem?

12:6  And [one] said to the man clothed in linen, who [was] upon the waters of the river, How long [shall it be to] the end of these wonders?

12:7  And I heard the man that was clothed in linen, that stood upon the waters of the river, when he had lifted up his right hand, and his left hand to heaven, and had sworn by him that liveth for ever, that it should be unto a time, and times, and half a time. And when the scattering of the band of the holy people shall be accomplished, all these things shall be finished.

12:7  And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

12:7  I slyšel jsem muže oblečeného ve lněném oděvu, který byl nad vodami veletoku. Zvedl svou pravici i levici k nebi a přísahal při Živém navěky, že k času a časům a k polovině, až se dovrší roztříštění moci svatého lidu, dovrší se i všechno toto.

12:7  Tehdy ten muž oděný plátnem, stojící nad hladinou řeky, zvedl svou pravici i levici k nebi a slyšel jsem, jak přísahá při Věčně živém: „Po času a časech a polovině času, až se dovrší útlak svatého lidu, tehdy toto vše skončí.“

12:7  Pak jsem slyšel onoho muže oděného lněným oděvem nahoře nad vodami v řečišti, jak pozdvihl pravici i levici k nebesům a přisáhl při Věčně živém, že k určené době, dobám a polovině, a až skončí tříštění ruky svatého lidu, toto vše pomine.

12:7  I slyšel jsem muže toho oblečeného v roucho lněné, kterýž stál nad vodou té řeky, an zdvihl pravici svou i levici svou k nebi, a přisáhl skrze Živého na věky, že po uloženém času, a uložených časích, i půl času, a když do cela rozptýlí násilí lidu svatého, dokonají se všecky tyto věci.

12:7  And I heard the man clothed in linen, who [was] upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him that liveth for ever, that [it shall be] for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these [things] shall be finished.

12:7  I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

12:7  And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was on the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him that lives for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

12:7  Et audivi virum qui indutus erat lineis, qui stabat super aquas fluminis, cum elevasset dexteram et sinistram suam in cælum, et jurasset per viventem in æternum, quia in tempus, et tempora, et dimidium temporis. Et cum completa fuerit dispersio manus populi sancti, complebuntur universa hæc.

12:8  And I heard, and understood not. And I said: O my lord, what shall be after these things?

12:8  And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

12:8  Slyšel jsem, ale neporozuměl jsem. Řekl jsem: „Můj pane, jaké bude zakončení toho všeho?“

12:9  And he said: Go, Daniel, because the words are shut up, and sealed until the appointed time.

12:9  And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

12:10  Many shall be chosen, and made white, and shall be tried as fire: and the wicked shall deal wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the learned shall understand.

12:10  Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

12:10  Mnozí se vytříbí, zbělí a budou vyzkoušeni. Svévolníci budou jednat svévolně; žádný svévolník se nepoučí, ale prozíraví se poučí.

12:10  Mnozí budou čištěni, běleni a tříbeni. Zlí lidé budou i nadále zlí a nikdo z nich neporozumí. Moudří však porozumějí.
