11:1  As the morning passeth, so hath the king of Israel passed away. Because Israel was a child, and I loved him: and I called my son out of Egypt.

11:4  Provázky lidskými jsem je táhl, provazy milování, byl jsem jako ti, kdo jim nadlehčují jho, když jsem se k němu nakláněl a krmil jej.

11:4  Táhl jsem je provazy lidskosti a lany milování. Byl jsem jim tím, kdo nadnáší jho, které nosí na šíji; skláněl jsem se k nim, abych je nakrmil.

11:8  Což bych se tě, Efrajime, mohl vzdát, mohl bych tě, Izraeli, jen tak vydat? Cožpak bych tě mohl vydat jako Admu, naložit s tebou jako se Sebójimem? Mé vlastní srdce se proti mně vzepřelo, jsem pohnut hlubokou lítostí.

11:8  Copak se tě, Efraime, mohu vzdát? Mohu tě, Izraeli, vydat napospas? Copak s tebou jak s Admou naložím? Zachovám se k tobě jako k Cebojim? Srdce se ve mně obrací, v nitru jsem pohnut lítostí.

11:8  Jak bych tě mohl vydat, Efrajime? Jak bych tě mohl předat, Izraeli? Jak bych tě mohl vydat jako Admu? Jak bych s tebou mohl učinit to co se Sebójimem? Mé srdce se ve mně změnilo, je vzbuzen všechen můj soucit.

11:8  Jakž bych tě vydal, ó Efraime? Jakž bych tě vydal, ó Izraeli? Kterak bych tě položil jako Adamu, podvrátil jako Seboim? Zkormouceno jest ve mně srdce mé, ano i střeva slitování mých pohnula se.

11:8  How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? [how] shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? [how] shall I set thee as Zeboim? my heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.

11:9  Nedám průchod svému planoucímu hněvu, nezničím Efrajima, protože jsem Bůh, a ne člověk, jsem Svatý uprostřed tebe; nepřijdu s hněvivostí.

11:9  Nevykonám svůj prudký hněv, nevydám znovu Efraima záhubě. Jsem přece Bůh, a ne člověk, jsem Svatý uprostřed tebe – nenavštívím tě už děsem.

11:9  Nevykonámť prchlivosti hněvu svého, nezkazím více Efraima; nebo jsem já Bůh silný, a ne člověk, u prostřed tebe svatý, aniž přitáhnu na město.

11:10  Budou následovat Hospodina, až zařve jako lev. Až vydá řev, přiběhnou s třesením synové od moře,

11:10  Přijdou za Hospodinem. Bude řvát jako lev. Když on zařve, přiběhnou s třesením synové od západu,

11:11  přiletí s třesením jako pták z Egypta a jako holubice z asyrské země a způsobím, že budou bydlet ve svých domech, je Hospodinův výrok.
