31:1  And when these things had been duly celebrated, all Israel that were found in the cities of Juda, went out, and they broke the idols, and cut down the groves, demolished the high places, and destroyed the altars, not only out of all Juda and Benjamin, but out of Ephraim also and Manasses, till they had utterly destroyed them: then all the children of Israel returned to their possessions and cities.

31:1  Když to všechno skončilo, všechen Izrael, ti, kteří se sešli, vyšli do judských měst a roztříštili posvátné sloupy, pokáceli posvátné kůly a pobořili posvátná návrší a oltáře v celém Judsku a Benjamínsku i na území Efrajimově a Manasesově, a to dokonale. Pak se všichni Izraelci vrátili do svých měst, každý do svého území.

31:1  Když to celé skončilo, všichni příchozí z Izraele se rozešli. Cestou v judských městech rozbíjeli posvátné sloupy, káceli Ašeřiny kůly a bourali obětní výšiny a oltáře všude v Judovi a Benjamínovi, ale i v Efraimovi a Manasesovi, dokud je nevymýtili. Teprve pak se všichni Izraelci vrátili do svých měst, každý do svého kraje.

31:1  Když to všechno skončilo, všichni Izraelci, kteří se tam nacházeli, vyšli do judských měst a roztřískali posvátné sloupy, pokáceli posvátné kůly, strhli návrší a oltáře po celém území Judy, Benjamína, Efrajima a Manasesa; úplně je zničili. Pak se všichni synové Izraele vrátili -- každý na své vlastnictví, do svých měst.

31:1  A když se to všecko dokonalo, vyšed všecken lid Izraelský, což ho koli bylo v městech Judských, stroskotali modly a posekali háje, a pobořili výsosti a oltáře po vší zemi Judské a Beniamin, i v Efraim a Manasses, až vše dokonali. Potom navrátili se všickni synové Izraelští, jeden každý k vládařství svému do města svého.

31:2  Chizkijáš zařadil kněze a lévijce do jednotlivých tříd, každého podle přidělené kněžské a lévijské služby, jednak při obětech zápalných a pokojných, jednak při přisluhování, děkování a chválení v branách Hospodinových táborů.

31:2  Ezechiáš rozdělil kněží a levity do oddílů, podle kterých pak všichni plnili své kněžské či levitské úkoly, ať už šlo o zápalné a pokojné oběti, o pomocné práce nebo o děkování a chvály v branách Hospodinova tábora.

31:2  Ezechiáš pak zase zřídil třídy kněží a Levítů podlé tříd jejich, jednoho každého podlé povinnosti přisluhování jeho, kněží a Levíty k obětem zápalným a pokojným, aby přisluhovali, a oslavovali i chválili Hospodina v branách vojska jeho.

31:13  And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.
