Chapter 121
Psal DRC 121:1  A gradual canticle. I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.
Psal VulgClem 121:1  Canticum graduum. Lætatus sum in his quæ dicta sunt mihi : In domum Domini ibimus.
Psal KJV 121:1  I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
Psal DRC 121:2  Our feet were standing in thy courts, O Jerusalem.
Psal VulgClem 121:2  Stantes erant pedes nostri in atriis tuis, Jerusalem.
Psal KJV 121:2  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Psal DRC 121:3  Jerusalem, which is built as a city, which is compact together.
Psal VulgClem 121:3  Jerusalem, quæ ædificatur ut civitas, cujus participatio ejus in idipsum.
Psal KJV 121:3  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Psal DRC 121:4  For thither did the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord: the testimony of Israel, to praise the name of the Lord.
Psal VulgClem 121:4  Illuc enim ascenderunt tribus, tribus Domini : testimonium Israël, ad confitendum nomini Domini.
Psal KJV 121:4  Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Psal DRC 121:5  Because their seats have sat in judgment, seats upon the house of David.
Psal VulgClem 121:5  Quia illic sederunt sedes in judicio, sedes super domum David.
Psal KJV 121:5  The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
Psal DRC 121:6  Pray ye for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem: and abundance for them that love thee.
Psal VulgClem 121:6  Rogate quæ ad pacem sunt Jerusalem, et abundantia diligentibus te.
Psal KJV 121:6  The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
Psal DRC 121:7  Let peace be in thy strength: and abundance in thy towers.
Psal VulgClem 121:7  Fiat pax in virtute tua, et abundantia in turribus tuis.
Psal KJV 121:7  The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
Psal DRC 121:8  For the sake of my brethren, and of my neighbours, I spoke peace of thee.
Psal VulgClem 121:8  Propter fratres meos et proximos meos, loquebar pacem de te.
Psal KJV 121:8  The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Psal DRC 121:9  Because of the house of the Lord our God, I have sought good things for thee.
Psal VulgClem 121:9  Propter domum Domini Dei nostri, quæsivi bona tibi.
