Chapter 23
Psal DRC 23:1  On the first day of the week, a psalm for David. The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof: the world, and all they that dwell therein.
Psal VulgClem 23:1  Prima sabbati. Psalmus David. Domini est terra, et plenitudo ejus ; orbis terrarum, et universi qui habitant in eo.
Psal KJV 23:1  The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psal DRC 23:2  For he hath founded it upon the seas; and hath prepared it upon the rivers.
Psal VulgClem 23:2  Quia ipse super maria fundavit eum, et super flumina præparavit eum.
Psal KJV 23:2  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psal DRC 23:3  Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord: or who shall stand in his holy place?
Psal VulgClem 23:3  Quis ascendet in montem Domini ? aut quis stabit in loco sancto ejus ?
Psal KJV 23:3  He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Psal DRC 23:4  The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, who hath not taken his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.
Psal VulgClem 23:4  Innocens manibus et mundo corde, qui non accepit in vano animam suam, nec juravit in dolo proximo suo :
Psal KJV 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psal DRC 23:5  He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.
Psal VulgClem 23:5  hic accipiet benedictionem a Domino, et misericordiam a Deo salutari suo.
Psal KJV 23:5  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Psal DRC 23:6  This is the generation of them that seek him, of them that seek the face of the God of Jacob.
Psal VulgClem 23:6  Hæc est generatio quærentium eum, quærentium faciem Dei Jacob.
Psal KJV 23:6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psal DRC 23:7  Lift up your gates, O ye princes, and be ye lifted up, O eternal gates: and the King of Glory shall enter in.
Psal VulgClem 23:7  Attollite portas, principes, vestras, et elevamini, portæ æternales, et introibit rex gloriæ.

Psal DRC 23:8  Who is this King of Glory? the Lord who is strong and mighty: the Lord mighty in battle.
Psal VulgClem 23:8  Quis est iste rex gloriæ ? Dominus fortis et potens, Dominus potens in prælio.

Psal DRC 23:9  Lift up your gates, O ye princes, and be ye lifted up, O eternal gates: and the King of Glory shall enter in.

Psal DRC 23:10  Who is this King of Glory? the Lord of hosts, he is the King of Glory.
