53:1  Unto the end, in verses, understanding for David.

53:1  The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

53:3  Bůh shlíží z nebes na lidské syny, aby viděl, zda je někdo rozumný, zda někdo hledá Boha.

53:3  Aj, každý z nich nazpět odšel, napořád neužiteční učiněni jsou; není, kdo by činil dobré, není ani jednoho.

53:4  Odpadli však všichni, zvrhli se do jednoho, nikdo nic dobrého neudělá, naprosto nikdo.

53:4  Všichni zabloudili z cesty, dočista se zkazili, není, kdo by konal dobro, není ani jediný!

53:4  Všichni společně odpadli, jsou zvrácení. Není, kdo by činil dobro, není ani jednoho.

53:4  Zdaliž nevědí všickni činitelé nepravosti, lid můj sžírajíce, jako by chléb jedli? Boha pak nevzývají.

53:5  Což nevědí ti, kdo páchají ničemnosti, kdo jedí můj lid, jako by jedli chleba, ti, kdo Boha nevzývají,

53:5  Copak nic nevědí tito zločinci? Jako by jedli chléb, můj lid hltají – pročpak by k Bohu volali?!

53:5  Opravdu tomu nerozumějí činitelé nepravosti, kteří pojídají můj lid, jako by jedli chléb, a kteří k Bohu nevolají?

53:5  Tuť se náramně strašiti budou, kdež není strachu. Bůh zajisté rozptýlí kosti těch, kteříž tě vojensky oblehli; zahanbíš je, nebo Bůh pohrdl jimi.

53:6  že se jednou třást budou strachem, strachem, jaký ještě nebyl? Kosti toho, kdo tě oblehl, Bůh rozmetá, zahanbíš je, protože je Bůh zavrhl.

53:6  Jednou je ale přepadne zděšení, ačkoli předtím strach neznali. Kosti těch, kdo napadli tě, Bůh sám rozptýlí a ty je zahanbíš, vždyť Bůh je zatratil!

53:6  Jednou se budou třást strachem, jaký ještě nebyl. Vždyť Bůh rozmetal kosti těch, kdo tě obléhali. Zahanbils je, neboť Bůh je zavrhl.

53:6  Ó by z Siona dáno bylo spasení Izraelovi. Když Bůh zase přivede zajaté lidu svého, plésati bude Jákob, a veseliti se Izrael.

53:7  Kéž už přijde Izraeli ze Sijónu spása! Až Bůh změní úděl svého lidu, bude Jákob jásat, Izrael se zaraduje.

53:7  Kéž Izraeli vzejde ze Sionu spása, kéž Bůh konečně svůj lid obnoví! Jákob pak bude radostně jásat, Izrael se bude veselit!

53:7  Kéž by byla Izraeli dána ze Sijónu spása! Až Bůh změní úděl svého lidu, bude Jákob jásat, Izrael se bude radovat.

53:7  Averte mala inimicis meis ; et in veritate tua disperde illos.
