8:1  And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house, and the ancients of Juda sat before me, that the hand of the Lord God fell there upon me.

8:1  Šestého roku v šestém měsíci, pátého dne toho měsíce, jsem seděl ve svém domě a přede mnou seděli judští starší. Tam na mne dolehla ruka Panovníka Hospodina.

8:1  Pátého dne šestého měsíce šestého roku, když jsem seděl doma a judští stařešinové seděli přede mnou, náhle tam na mě dolehla ruka Panovníka Hospodina.

8:1  I stalo se ⌈v šestém roce v šestém měsíci, pátého dne toho měsíce,⌉ když jsem seděl ve svém domě a judští starší seděli přede mnou, že tam na mě dolehla ruka Panovníka Hospodina.

8:2  And I saw, and behold a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins, and downward, fire: and from his loins, and upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the appearance of amber.

8:2  Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.

8:2  Měl jsem vidění. Hle, cosi vzhledem podobného ohni. Od beder dolů to vypadalo jako oheň a od beder nahoru to vypadalo jako záře, jako třpyt oslnivého vzácného kovu.

8:2  Podíval jsem se a hle – jakoby lidská postava! Od pasu dolů bylo vidět jakoby oheň a od pasu vzhůru jakoby třpyt žhnoucího vzácného kovu.

8:2  Tu jsem viděl, hle, ⌈muž vzhledem jakoby podobný ohni:⌉ Od jeho jakoby beder dolů oheň a od jeho beder nahoru vzhled jako záře, jako třpyt jantaru.

8:2  A viděl jsem, a aj, podobenství na pohledění jako oheň. Od bedr jeho dolů oheň, od bedr pak jeho vzhůru na pohledění jako blesk, na pohledění jako nějaká velmi prudká světlost.

8:2  Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the color of amber.

8:3  And the likeness of a hand was put forth and took me by a lock of my head: and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the vision of God into Jerusalem, near the inner gate, that looked toward the north, where was set the idol of jealousy to provoke to jealousy.

8:3  Vztáhl cosi, co se podobalo ruce, uchopil mě za kštici na hlavě a duch mě vynesl mezi zemi a nebe; v Božích viděních mě přivedl do Jeruzaléma ke vchodu vnitřní brány, která je obrácena na sever, v níž je modla žárlivosti, která vyvolává žárlivost Hospodinovu.

8:3  Vztáhl cosi jako ruku a vzal mě za vlasy. Duch mě vyzvedl mezi nebe a zemi a v Božím vidění mě přenesl do Jeruzaléma, ke vchodu severní brány vnitřního nádvoří, kde trůnila urážlivá socha budící žárlivý hněv.

8:3  Vztáhl cosi jako ruku a vzal mě za kštici na hlavě. Duch mě pozdvihl mezi zemi a nebesa a přenesl mě v Božím vidění do Jeruzaléma ke vchodu vnitřní brány obrácené k severu, tam kde je sídlo sochy žárlivosti, která dráždí k žárlivosti.

8:3  Tedy vztáh podobenství ruky, vzal mne za kštici hlavy mé, a vyzdvihl mne Duch mezi nebe a mezi zemi, a uvedl mne do Jeruzaléma u viděních Božích, k vratům brány vnitřní, kteráž patří na půlnoci, kdež byla stolice modly k horlivosti a k zůřivosti popouzející.

8:3  And he put forth the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh towards the north; where [was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.

8:4  A hle, byla tam sláva Boha Izraele. Vypadala jako tehdy, když jsem ji viděl na pláni.

8:6  And he said to me: Son of man, dost thou see, thinkest thou, what these are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should depart far off from my sanctuary? and turn thee yet again and thou shalt see greater abominations.

8:6  He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.

8:6  Řekl mi: „Lidský synu, vidíš, co páchají? Jak veliké ohavnosti zde dům izraelský páchá, abych se vzdálil od své svatyně? A uvidíš ještě větší ohavnosti.“

8:6  „Synu člověčí,“ řekl mi, „vidíš, co páchají? Ty hrozné ohavnosti, které zde dům Izraele provádí, takže mě vyhání z mé svatyně? Uvidíš ale ještě horší ohavnosti.“

8:6  V tom řekl mi: Synu člověčí, vidíš-liž ty, co tito činí, ohavnosti tak veliké, kteréž činí dům Izraelský tuto, tak že se vzdáliti musím od svatyně své? Ale obrátě se, uzříš ještě větší ohavnosti.

8:6  He said furthermore to me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? [even] the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should withdraw from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, [and] thou shalt see greater abominations.

8:6  He said to me, "Son of man, do you see what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel do commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But you shall again see yet other great abominations."

8:6  He said furthermore to me, Son of man, see you what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations.

8:6  Et dixit ad me : Fili hominis, putasne vides tu quid isti faciunt, abominationes magnas quas domus Israël facit hic, ut procul recedam a sanctuario meo ? et adhuc conversus videbis abominationes majores.

8:7  And he brought me in to the door of the court: and I saw, and behold a hole in the wall.

8:7  Uvedl mě ke vchodu do nádvoří, kde jsem spatřil jakýsi otvor ve zdi.

8:11  A před nimi stojí sedmdesát mužů ze starších domu izraelského, uprostřed nich Jaazanjáš, syn Šáfanův. Každý z nich má v ruce svou kadidelnici a vzhůru stoupá oblak vonného kouře z kadidla.

8:11  And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

8:12  And he said to me: Surely thou seest, O son of man, what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every one in private in his chamber: for they say: The Lord seeth us not, the Lord hath forsaken the earth.

8:12  Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth.

8:12  Then said he to me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.

8:12  Then he said to me, "Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say, 'The Lord doesn't see us. The Lord has forsaken the land.'"

8:12  Then said he to me, Son of man, have you seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the LORD sees us not; the LORD has forsaken the earth.

8:12  Et dixit ad me : Certe vides, fili hominis, quæ seniores domus Israël faciunt in tenebris, unusquisque in abscondito cubiculi sui : dicunt enim : Non videt Dominus nos ; dereliquit Dominus terram.

8:13  And he said to me: If thou turn thee again, thou shalt see greater abominations which these commit.

8:13  He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.

8:16  And he brought me into the inner court of the house of the Lord: and behold at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men having their backs towards the temple of the Lord, in their faces to the east: and they adored towards the rising of the sun.

8:16  And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

8:16  Uvedl mě do vnitřního nádvoří Hospodinova domu, a hle, při vchodu do Hospodinova chrámu, mezi předsíní a oltářem, bylo asi dvacet pět mužů, zády ke chrámu Hospodinovu a tváří k východu; klaněli se východním směrem slunci.

8:16  Přivedl mě do vnitřního nádvoří Hospodinova domu, a hle – u vchodu do Hospodinova chrámu, mezi předsíní a oltářem, bylo asi pětadvacet mužů. Zády k Hospodinovu chrámu a čelem k východu se klaněli vycházejícímu slunci!

8:16  Pak mě přivedl na vnitřní nádvoří Hospodinova domu a hle, u vchodu do Hospodinova chrámu ⌈mezi předsíní a oltářem⌉ je asi dvacet pět mužů zády k Hospodinovu chrámu a tvářemi k východu a ⌈sklánějí se před sluncem⌉ na východě.

8:16  Tedy uvedl mne do síně domu Hospodinova vnitřní, a aj, u vrat chrámu Hospodinova, mezi síňcí a oltářem bylo okolo pětmecítma mužů, jejichž záda byla k chrámu Hospodinovu, tváři pak jejich k východu, kteříž klaněli se proti východu slunce.

8:17  And he said to me: Surely thou hast seen, O son of man: is this a light thing to the house of Juda, that they should commit these abominations which they have committed here: because they have filled the land with iniquity, and have turned to provoke me to anger? and behold they put a branch to their nose.

8:17  Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

8:17  Řekl mi: „Viděl jsi, lidský synu? Domu Judovu nestačí tyto ohavnosti, které zde páchají; navíc naplnili celou zemi násilím. Stále znovu mě urážejí, a hle, jak si k nosu pozvedají ratolest.

8:17  „Vidíš to, synu člověčí?“ řekl mi. „To snad domu Judy nestačí ohavnosti, které tu páchají, že musejí naplnit násilím celou zem a stále víc mě popouzet? Jen se podívej, jak mi strkají klacek do chřípí!

8:17  Nato mi řekl: Viděl jsi to, lidský synu? Cožpak bylo domu judskému málo páchat ty ohavnosti, které páchali tady? Vždyť naplnili zemi násilím, znovu mě provokovali ke hněvu a hle, ⌈podávají si vinnou ratolest k nosu.⌉

8:17  I řekl mi: Viděl-lis, synu člověčí? Zdali lehká věc jest domu Judovu, aby činili ohavnosti tyto, kteréž činí zde? Nebo naplnivše zemi nátiskem, obrátili se, aby mne popouzeli, a aj, přičinějí ratolest vinnou k nosům svým.

8:17  Then he said to me, Hast thou seen [this], O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and lo, they put the branch to their nose.

8:17  Et dixit ad me : Certe vidisti, fili hominis : numquid leve est hoc domui Juda, ut facerent abominationes istas quas fecerunt hic, quia replentes terram iniquitate, conversi sunt ad irritandum me ? et ecce applicant ramum ad nares suas.

8:18  Therefore I also will deal with them in my wrath: my eye shall not spare them, neither will I shew mercy: and when they shall cry to my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.

8:18  Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

8:18  Také já budu jednat v rozhořčení, nebude mi jich líto a nebudu znát soucit. Pak budou ke mně volat mocným hlasem, ale já je nevyslyším.“

8:18  Proto i já projevím svůj hněv! Neslituji se, neušetřím je. I když mi budou hlasitě křičet do uší, já je nevyslyším.“

8:18  Také já budu jednat v zlobě, mé oko se neslituje ani nebudu mít soucit. Budou ke ⌈mně hlasitě⌉ volat, ale nevyslyším je.

8:18  Protož i já také učiním podlé prchlivosti; neslitujeť se oko mé, aniž se smiluji. I budou volati v uši mé hlasem velikým, a nevyslyším jich.

8:18  Therefore will I also deal in fury: my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, [yet] I will not hear them.
