16:1  And the lot of the sons of Joseph fell from the Jordan over against Jericho and the waters thereof, on the east: the wilderness which goeth up from Jericho to the mountain of Bethel:

16:1  And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth–el,

16:1  Josefovcům vyšel tento los: od Jordánu při Jerichu k Jerišským vodám na východ; hranice stoupá pouští od Jericha do hor k Bét-elu.

16:1  Díl, který losem připadl synům Josefovým, se táhne od Jordánu naproti Jerichu východně od jerišských vod, stoupá pouští od Jericha vzhůru do hor k Bet-elu

16:1  Pro syny Josefovy vyšel los od Jordánu u Jericha k jerišským vodám na východě, pustina vystupující od Jericha k bételskému pohoří.

16:1  Potom padl los synům Jozefovým, od Jordánu proti Jerichu při vodách Jerišských k východu, poušť, kteráž se začíná od Jericha přes hory Bethel.

16:1  And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, to the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth-el,

16:1  The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.

16:1  And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, to the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goes up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel,

16:1  Cecidit quoque sors filiorum Joseph ab Jordane contra Jericho et aquas ejus ab oriente : solitudo quæ ascendit de Jericho ad montem Bethel :

16:2  And goeth out from Bethel to Luza: and passeth the border of Archi, to Ataroth,

16:2  And goeth out from Beth–el to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

16:2  Pak vede od Bét-elu k Lúzu a pokračuje k pomezí Arkejců do Atarótu.

16:2  a od Bet-elu (což je Luz) pokračuje k území Arkijců do Atarotu.

16:2  Dále vychází z Bét–elu do Lúzu a prochází k arkijské hranici do Atarótu.

16:2  A od Bethel vychází do Lůza, a přichází ku pomezí Archi do Atarot.

16:2  And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and passeth along to the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

16:2  It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth;

16:2  And goes out from Bethel to Luz, and passes along to the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

16:2  et egreditur de Bethel Luza : transitque terminum Archi, Ataroth :

16:3  And goeth down westward, by the border of Jephleti, unto the borders of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gazer: and the countries of it are ended by the great sea:

16:3  And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Beth–horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof are at the sea.

16:3  Sestupuje na západ k pomezí Jaflétejců až k pomezí Dolního Bét-chorónu a Gezeru a vybíhá k moři.

16:3  Pak sestupuje na západ k území Jafletejců až po oblast Dolního Bet-choronu a dále ke Gezeru, až dosáhne ke Středozemnímu moři.

16:3  Pak sestupuje na západě k jaflétejské hranici až k hranici Dolního Bét–chorónu a až ke Gezeru a její výběžky dosahují k moři.

16:3  Potom jde k moři ku pomezí Jefleti, až ku pomezí Betoron dolního, a až k Gázer, a skonává se při moři.

16:3  And goeth down westward to the border of Japhleti, to the border of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the limits of it are at the sea.

16:3  and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, even to Gezer; and ended at the sea.

16:3  And goes down westward to the coast of Japhleti, to the coast of Bethhoron the nether, and to Gezer; and the goings out thereof are at the sea.

16:3  et descendit ad occidentem juxta terminum Jephleti, usque ad terminos Beth-horon inferioris, et Gazer : finiunturque regiones ejus mari magno :

16:4  And Manasses and Ephraim the children of Joseph possessed it.

16:4  So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

16:4  Toto dědictví získali Josefovi synové Manases a Efraim.

16:5  Efrajimovcům připadlo pro jejich čeledi toto pomezí: Hranice jejich dědičného podílu jde na východ od Atarót-adaru až k Hornímu Bét-chorónu.

16:5  A toto je území, které pro své rody získali synové Efraimovi: Hranice jejich dědictví vede na východě od Atarot-adaru až k Hornímu Bet-choronu.

16:5  Synům Efrajimovým připadlo území pro jejich čeledi. Hranice jejich dědictví došla na východ od Atarót–adaru až k Hornímu Bét–chorónu.

16:5  Byla pak meze synů Efraimových po čeledech jejich, ta byla meze dědictví jejich na východ, od Atarot Addar až do Betoron vrchního.

16:5  And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was [thus]: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Ataroth-adar, to Beth-horon the upper:

16:5  This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper.

16:5  And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, to Bethhoron the upper;

16:5  Et factus est terminus filiorum Ephraim per cognationes suas : et possessio eorum contra orientem Ataroth Addar usque Beth-horon superiorem.

16:6  And the confines go out unto the sea: but Machmethath looketh to the north, and it goeth round the borders eastward into Thanath-selo: and passeth along on the east side to Janoe.

16:6  And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanath–shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;

16:6  Dál vede hranice k moři na sever od Mikmetatu. Pak odbočuje hranice na východ k Taanat-šílu a míjí je na východ k Janóachu.

16:6  Potom hranice vede k moři. Od Michmetatu na severu se hranice stáčí na východ u Taanat-šíla a míjí ho východně od Janoachu.

16:6  Hranice vybíhá k moři u Mikmetatu od severu, pak se stáčí na východ k Taanat–šílu a prochází jím od východu k Janóachu.

16:6  A vychází meze ta k moři při Michmetat od půlnoční strany, a obchází meze k východu Tanatsilo, a přechází ji od východu k Janoe.

16:6  And the border went out towards the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward to Taanath-shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;

16:6  The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.

16:6  And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward to Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;

16:6  Egrediunturque confinia in mare : Machmethath vero aquilonem respicit, et circuit terminos contra orientem in Thanathselo : et pertransit ab oriente Janoë.

16:7  And it goeth down from Janoe into Ataroth and Naaratha: and it cometh to Jericho, and goeth out to the Jordan.

16:7  And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.

16:7  Od Janóachu sestupuje k Atarótu a k Naaře, dotýká se Jericha a vede k Jordánu.

16:7  Za Janoachem klesá k Atarotu a Naaratu, dotýká se Jericha a vybíhá k Jordánu.

16:7  Od Janóachu sestupuje k Atarótu a k Naaře, zasahuje do Jericha a vybíhá k Jordánu.

16:7  A sstupuje z Janoe do Atarot a Nárat, a přichází do Jericha, a vychází k Jordánu.

16:7  And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and terminated at Jordan.

16:7  It went down from Janoah to Ataroth, to Naarah, reached to Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.

16:8  From Taphua it passeth on towards the sea into the valley of reeds, and the goings out thereof are at the most salt sea. This is the possession of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

16:8  The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

16:8  Od Tapúachu jde hranice na západ k potoku Káně a vybíhá k moři. To je dědičný podíl pokolení Efrajimovců pro jejich čeledi.

16:8  Západně od Tapuachu vede hranice potokem Kána, než dosáhne k moři. To je dědictví Efraimova pokolení pro jejich rody.

16:8  Od Tapúachu jde hranice na západ k potoku Káně a její výběžky dosahují k moři. Toto je dědictví pokolení synů Efrajimových pro jejich čeledi.

16:8  Od Tafue meze jde k moři ku potoku Kána, a skonává se při moři. To jest dědictví pokolení synů Efraim po čeledech jejich.

16:8  The border went out from Tappuah westward to the river Kanah; and the limits of it were at the sea. This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

16:8  From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;

16:8  The border went out from Tappuah westward to the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

16:8  De Taphua pertransit contra mare in vallem arundineti, suntque egressus ejus in mare salsissimum. Hæc est possessio tribus filiorum Ephraim per familias suas.

16:9  And there were cities with their villages separated for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the possession of the children of Manasses.

16:9  And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

16:9  K tomu města oddělená pro Efrajimovce uprostřed dědičného podílu Manasesovců, všechna města i s dvorci.

16:9  Navíc byla pro Efraimovy syny vyčleněna města uprostřed dědictví synů Manasesových; všechna ta města byla i s osadami.

16:9  Dále ta města, která byla oddělena pro syny Efrajimovy uprostřed dědictví synů Manasesových, všechna města a jejich dvorce.

16:9  Města pak oddělená synům Efraimovým byla u prostřed dědictví synů Manassesových, všecka města s vesnicemi svými.

16:9  And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim [were] among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

16:9  together with the cities which were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

16:9  Urbesque separatæ sunt filiis Ephraim in medio possessionis filiorum Manasse, et villæ earum.

16:10  And the children of Ephraim slew not the Chanaanite, who dwelt in Gazer: and the Chanaanite dwelt in the midst of Ephraim until this day, paying tribute.

16:10  And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.

16:10  Avšak nepodrobili si Kenaance, kteří sídlili v Gezeru. A tak sídlí Kenaanci uprostřed Efrajima až dodnes. Byli podrobeni otrockým pracím.

16:10  Nevyhnali ale Kanaánce bydlící v Gezeru. Proto Kanaánci zůstali uprostřed Efraima až dodnes a vykonávají nucené práce.

16:10  Nepodrobili si však Kenaance sídlící v Gezeru a ti Kenaanci pobývali uprostřed Efrajima až do tohoto dne a byli přinuceni sloužit na nucených pracích.

16:10  A nevyplénili Kananea bydlícího v Gázer. I bydlil Kananejský u prostřed Efraima až do dnes, dávaje plat.

16:10  And they did not expel the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day, and serve under tribute.

16:10  They did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.

16:10  And they drove not out the Canaanites that dwelled in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day, and serve under tribute.

16:10  Et non interfecerunt filii Ephraim Chananæum, qui habitabat in Gazer : habitavitque Chananæus in medio Ephraim usque in diem hanc tributarius.
