Chapter 111
Psal DRC 111:1  Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord: he shall delight exceedingly in his commandments.
Psal VulgClem 111:1  Alleluja, reversionis Aggæi et Zachariæ. Beatus vir qui timet Dominum : in mandatis ejus volet nimis.
Psal KJV 111:1  Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
Psal DRC 111:2  His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.
Psal VulgClem 111:2  Potens in terra erit semen ejus ; generatio rectorum benedicetur.
Psal KJV 111:2  The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
Psal DRC 111:3  Glory and wealth shall be in his house: and his justice remaineth for ever and ever.
Psal VulgClem 111:3  Gloria et divitiæ in domo ejus, et justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi.
Psal KJV 111:3  His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Psal DRC 111:4  To the righteous a light is risen up in darkness: he is merciful, and compassionate and just.
Psal VulgClem 111:4  Exortum est in tenebris lumen rectis : misericors, et miserator, et justus.
Psal KJV 111:4  He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
Psal DRC 111:5  Acceptable is the man that sheweth mercy and lendeth: he shall order his words with judgment:
Psal VulgClem 111:5  Jucundus homo qui miseretur et commodat ; disponet sermones suos in judicio :
Psal KJV 111:5  He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
Psal DRC 111:6  Because he shall not be moved for ever.
Psal VulgClem 111:6  quia in æternum non commovebitur.
Psal KJV 111:6  He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
Psal DRC 111:7  The just shall be in everlasting remembrance: he shall not fear the evil hearing. His heart is ready to hope in the Lord:
Psal VulgClem 111:7  In memoria æterna erit justus ; ab auditione mala non timebit. Paratum cor ejus sperare in Domino,
Psal KJV 111:7  The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
Psal DRC 111:8  His heart is strengthened, he shall not be moved until he look over his enemies.
Psal VulgClem 111:8  confirmatum est cor ejus ; non commovebitur donec despiciat inimicos suos.
Psal KJV 111:8  They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
Psal DRC 111:9  He hath distributed, he hath given to the poor: his justice remaineth for ever and ever: his horn shall be exalted in glory.
Psal VulgClem 111:9  Dispersit, dedit pauperibus ; justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi : cornu ejus exaltabitur in gloria.
Psal KJV 111:9  He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
Psal DRC 111:10  The wicked shall see, and shall be angry, he shall gnash with his teeth and pine away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
Psal VulgClem 111:10  Peccator videbit, et irascetur ; dentibus suis fremet et tabescet : desiderium peccatorum peribit.
Psal KJV 111:10  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
