Chapter 141
Psal DRC 141:1  Of understanding for David, A prayer when he was in the cave.
Psal VulgClem 141:1  Intellectus David, cum esset in spelunca, oratio.
Psal KJV 141:1  Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
Psal DRC 141:2  I cried to the Lord with my voice: with my voice I made supplication to the Lord.
Psal VulgClem 141:2  Voce mea ad Dominum clamavi, voce mea ad Dominum deprecatus sum.
Psal KJV 141:2  Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Psal DRC 141:3  In his sight I pour out my prayer, and before him I declare my trouble:
Psal VulgClem 141:3  Effundo in conspectu ejus orationem meam, et tribulationem meam ante ipsum pronuntio :
Psal KJV 141:3  Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
Psal DRC 141:4  When my spirit failed me, then thou knewest my paths. In this way wherein I walked, they have hidden a snare for me.
Psal VulgClem 141:4  in deficiendo ex me spiritum meum, et tu cognovisti semitas meas. In via hac qua ambulabam absconderunt laqueum mihi.
Psal KJV 141:4  Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
Psal DRC 141:5  I looked on my right hand, and beheld, and there was no one that would know me. Flight hath failed me: and there is no one that hath regard to my soul.
Psal VulgClem 141:5  Considerabam ad dexteram, et videbam, et non erat qui cognosceret me : periit fuga a me, et non est qui requirat animam meam.
Psal KJV 141:5  Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.
Psal DRC 141:6  I cried to thee, O Lord: I said: Thou art my hope, my portion in the land of the living.
Psal VulgClem 141:6  Clamavi ad te, Domine ; dixi : Tu es spes mea, portio mea in terra viventium.
Psal KJV 141:6  When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
Psal DRC 141:7  Attend to my supplication: for I am brought very low. Deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
Psal VulgClem 141:7  Intende ad deprecationem meam, quia humiliatus sum nimis. Libera me a persequentibus me, quia confortati sunt super me.
Psal KJV 141:7  Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.
Psal DRC 141:8  Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the just wait for me, until thou reward me.
Psal VulgClem 141:8  Educ de custodia animam meam ad confitendum nomini tuo ; me exspectant justi donec retribuas mihi.
Psal KJV 141:8  But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
