28:1  A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.

28:1  Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

28:1  Davidův. K tobě, Hospodine, volám, nebuď ke mně hluchý, skálo moje. Neozveš-li se mi, budu podoben těm, kteří sestupují v jámu.

28:1  Žalm Davidův. K tobě, Hospodine, volám, skálo má, přeruš své mlčení! Jestliže neodpovíš mi, podobný budu mrtvolám!

28:1  Davidův žalm. K tobě volám, Hospodine, má skálo, nebuď ke mně hluchý! ⌈Neozveš–li se mi,⌉ budu podobný těm, kdo sestupují v jámu.

28:2  Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

28:2  Vyslyš moje prosby, k tobě o pomoc teď volám, pozvedám své ruce k svatostánku tvé svatyně.

28:2  Vyslyš mé prosby, když k tobě volám, když ruce zvedám k tvé nejsvětější svatyni!

28:3  Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

28:3  Mezi lidi svévolné mě nezařazuj, mezi pachatele ničemností. S bližním rozmlouvají o pokoji, ale v srdci mají zlobu.

28:3  Nezahrnuj mě mezi darebáky a mezi pachatele zla, mezi ty, kdo s bližními mluví o pokoji, v srdcích však mají zášť.

28:3  Neodvleč mě s ničemy, s činiteli nepravosti, s těmi, kdo se svými bližními mluví pokojně, ale v jejich srdci je zlo.

28:3  Nezahrnuj mne s bezbožníky, a s těmi, kteříž páší nepravost, kteříž mluvívají pokoj s bližními svými, ale převrácenost jest v srdcích jejich.

28:4  Nalož s nimi podle jejich skutků, podle jejich zlého počínání. Nalož s nimi podle díla jejich rukou, podle zásluhy jim odplať.

28:4  Dej jim odplatu za jejich skutky, za podlost jejich počinů, odměň je za dílo jejich rukou, dej jim zaslouženou odplatu!

28:4  Dej jim podle jejich skutků, podle jejich zvrácených činů, podle díla jejich rukou jim dej, vrať jim, co vykonali!

28:4  Dejž jim podlé skutků jejich, a podlé zlosti nešlechetností jejich; podlé práce rukou jejich dej jim, zaplať jim zaslouženou mzdu jejich.

28:5  Když jim nezáleží na Hospodinových skutcích a na díle jeho rukou, rozmetá je a víc nezbuduje.

28:5  Protože nedbají na Hospodinovy činy – na to, co vykonal svýma rukama – proto je rozboří a nikdy více nebude je už budovat.

28:5  Oni neuvažují o Hospodinově jednání, o díle jeho rukou. Strhne je a už je nezbuduje.

28:5  Nebo nechtí mysli přiložiti k skutkům Hospodinovým, a k dílu rukou jeho; protož podvrátí je, a nebude jich vzdělávati.

28:7  Hospodin je síla má a štít můj, mé srdce v něj doufá. Pomoci jsem došel, proto v srdci jásám, svou písní mu budu vzdávat chválu.
