Chapter 28
Psal DRC 28:1  A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.
Psal KJV 28:1  Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
Psal VulgClem 28:1  Psalmus David, in consummatione tabernaculi. Afferte Domino, filii Dei, afferte Domino filios arietum.
Psal DRC 28:2  Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.
Psal KJV 28:2  Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
Psal VulgClem 28:2  Afferte Domino gloriam et honorem ; afferte Domino gloriam nomini ejus ; adorate Dominum in atrio sancto ejus.
Psal DRC 28:3  The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.
Psal KJV 28:3  Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
Psal VulgClem 28:3  Vox Domini super aquas ; Deus majestatis intonuit : Dominus super aquas multas.
Psal DRC 28:4  The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.
Psal KJV 28:4  Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
Psal VulgClem 28:4  Vox Domini in virtute ; vox Domini in magnificentia.
Psal DRC 28:5  The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.
Psal KJV 28:5  Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
Psal VulgClem 28:5  Vox Domini confringentis cedros, et confringet Dominus cedros Libani :
Psal DRC 28:6  And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.
Psal KJV 28:6  Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
Psal VulgClem 28:6  et comminuet eas, tamquam vitulum Libani, et dilectus quemadmodum filius unicornium.
Psal DRC 28:7  The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:
Psal KJV 28:7  The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Psal VulgClem 28:7  Vox Domini intercidentis flammam ignis ;
Psal DRC 28:8  The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades.
Psal KJV 28:8  The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
Psal VulgClem 28:8  vox Domini concutientis desertum : et commovebit Dominus desertum Cades.
Psal DRC 28:9  The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.
Psal KJV 28:9  Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
Psal VulgClem 28:9  Vox Domini præparantis cervos : et revelabit condensa, et in templo ejus omnes dicent gloriam.
Psal DRC 28:10  The Lord maketh the flood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever.

Psal VulgClem 28:10  Dominus diluvium inhabitare facit, et sedebit Dominus rex in æternum.
Psal DRC 28:11  The Lord will give strength to his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Psal VulgClem 28:11  Dominus virtutem populo suo dabit ; Dominus benedicet populo suo in pace.
