Chapter 46
Psal DRC 46:1  Unto the end, for the sons of Core.
Psal VulgClem 46:1  In finem, pro filiis Core. Psalmus.
Psal KJV 46:1  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psal DRC 46:2  O clap your hands, all ye nations: shout unto God with the voice of joy,
Psal VulgClem 46:2  Omnes gentes, plaudite manibus ; jubilate Deo in voce exsultationis :
Psal KJV 46:2  Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Psal DRC 46:3  For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth.
Psal VulgClem 46:3  quoniam Dominus excelsus, terribilis, rex magnus super omnem terram.
Psal KJV 46:3  Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Psal DRC 46:4  He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet.
Psal VulgClem 46:4  Subjecit populos nobis, et gentes sub pedibus nostris.
Psal KJV 46:4  There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
Psal DRC 46:5  He hath chosen for us his inheritance, the beauty of Jacob which he hath loved.
Psal VulgClem 46:5  Elegit nobis hæreditatem suam ; speciem Jacob quam dilexit.
Psal KJV 46:5  God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
Psal DRC 46:6  God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet.
Psal VulgClem 46:6  Ascendit Deus in jubilo, et Dominus in voce tubæ.
Psal KJV 46:6  The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
Psal DRC 46:7  Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye.
Psal VulgClem 46:7  Psallite Deo nostro, psallite ; psallite regi nostro, psallite :
Psal KJV 46:7  The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
Psal DRC 46:8  For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely.
Psal VulgClem 46:8  quoniam rex omnis terræ Deus, psallite sapienter.
Psal KJV 46:8  Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
Psal DRC 46:9  God shall reign over the nations: God sitteth on his holy throne.
Psal VulgClem 46:9  Regnabit Deus super gentes ; Deus sedet super sedem sanctam suam.
Psal KJV 46:9  He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
Psal DRC 46:10  The princes of the people are gathered together, with the God of Abraham: for the strong gods of the earth are exceedingly exalted.
Psal VulgClem 46:10  Principes populorum congregati sunt cum Deo Abraham, quoniam dii fortes terræ vehementer elevati sunt.
Psal KJV 46:10  Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
