16:4  They shall die by the death of grievous illnesses: they shall not be lamented, and they shall not be buried, they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed with the sword, and with famine: and their carcasses shall be meat for the fowls of the air, and for the beasts of the earth.

16:4  Zemřou na smrtelné nemoci. Nebude se nad nimi naříkat a nebudou pohřbeni. Budou hnojem na povrchu role. Skoncuje s nimi meč a hlad. Jejich mrtvoly budou za pokrm nebeskému ptactvu a zemskému zvířectvu.“

16:4  Zemřou strašlivou smrtí. Nikdo je neopláče ani nepohřbí, takže zůstanou ležet jako hnůj na zemi. Meč a hlad s nimi skoncuje a na jejich mrtvolách se budou pást ptáci a divá zvěř.“

16:4  Zemřou na smrtelné nemoci. Nebudou oplakáváni ani pohřbeni. Budou jako hnůj na povrchu země, zajdou mečem a hladem. Jejich mrtvoly se stanou potravou nebeského ptactva a zemské zvěře.

16:4  Smrtmi přebolestnými pomrou, nebudou oplakáni, ani pochováni; místo hnoje na svrchku země budou, a mečem i hladem do konce zhubeni budou. I budou mrtvá těla jejich za pokrm ptactvu nebeskému a šelmám zemským.

16:5  For thus saith the Lord: Enter not into the house of feasting, neither go thou to mourn, nor to comfort them: because I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord, my mercy and commiserations.

16:5  Toto praví Hospodin: „Nevcházej do domu smuteční hostiny, nechoď tam, kde se naříká, a neprojevuj jim soustrast, neboť já jsem tomuto lidu vzal svůj pokoj, je výrok Hospodinův, spolu s milosrdenstvím a slitováním.

16:5  Tak praví Hospodin: „Nevcházej do domu smutku, nechoď truchlit a neoplakávej je, neboť od tohoto lidu odejmu svůj pokoj, svou lásku i soucit, praví Hospodin.

16:5  Neboť toto praví Hospodin: Nevstupuj do domu smutku, nechoď naříkat a neprojevuj jim účast, protože od tohoto lidu odejmu svůj pokoj, je Hospodinův výrok, ⌈své milosrdenství i slitování.⌉

16:5  Nebo takto praví Hospodin: Nevcházej do domu smutku, aniž choď kvíliti, aniž jich lituj; odjal jsem zajisté pokoj svůj od lidu tohoto, dobrotivost i slitování, dí Hospodin.

16:7  Při truchlení nebudou lámat chléb, aby potěšili toho, kdo truchlí nad mrtvým, nedají napít z kalicha útěchy těm, kdo truchlí nad otcem či matkou.

16:7  Nikdo neuspořádá smuteční hostinu k útěše těch, kdo truchlí nad mrtvým; ti, kdo ztratili otce či matku, nedostanou napít z poháru útěchy.

16:7  Na smutečním obřadu nebudou lámat chléb, aby poskytli útěchu nad zemřelým, nedají jim napít z kalicha útěchy nad jejich otcem či matkou.

16:9  Toto praví Hospodin zástupů, Bůh Izraele: „Hle, způsobím, že na tomto místě, před vaším zrakem a za vašich dnů přestane veselí a hlas radosti, hlas ženicha a hlas nevěsty.“

16:9  neboť tak praví Hospodin zástupů, Bůh Izraele: Hle, před vašima očima a za vašich dnů na tomto místě nechám utichnout hlas radosti a veselí, hlas ženicha a nevěsty.

16:10  And when thou shalt tell this people all these words, and they shall say to thee: Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced against us all this great evil? what is our iniquity? and what is our sin, that we have sinned against the Lord our God?

16:10  And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?

16:10  „Až oznámíš tomuto lidu všechna tato slova, zeptají se tě: ‚Proč Hospodin promluvil proti nám všechno toto velké zlo? Jaká je naše nepravost? Jaký je náš hřích? V čem jsme hřešili proti Hospodinu, našemu Bohu?‘

16:10  Až tomuto lidu vyřídíš všechna tato slova, namítnou ti: ‚Proč proti nám Hospodin vyhlásil tak hrozné neštěstí? Čím jsme se provinili? Copak jsme proti Hospodinu, svému Bohu, spáchali nějaký hřích?‘

16:10  Stane se, až oznámíš tomuto lidu všechna tato slova, že ti řeknou: Proč Hospodin proti nám vyslovil všechno toto veliké zlo? Jaká je naše vina? Jaký je náš hřích, kterým jsme zhřešili proti Hospodinu, svému Bohu?

16:10  Když pak oznámíš lidu tomuto všecka slova tato, a řeknou-liť: Proč vyřkl Hospodin proti nám všecko zlé veliké toto, a jaká jest nepravost naše, aneb jaký hřích náš, jímž jsme hřešili proti Hospodinu Bohu svému?

16:10  And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt show this people all these words, and they shall say to thee, Why hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what [is] our iniquity? or what [is] our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?

16:10  It shall happen, when you shall show this people all these words, and they shall tell you, 'Why has the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? Or what is our iniquity? Or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?'

16:11  Thou shalt say to them: Because your fathers forsook me, saith the Lord: and went after strange gods, and served them, and adored them: and they forsook me, and kept not my law.

16:11  Na to jim odpovíš: V tom, že mě vaši otcové opustili, je výrok Hospodinův, a chodili za jinými bohy, sloužili jim a klaněli se jim; mne opustili a můj zákon nedodržovali.

16:11  Odpověz jim: ‚Už vaši otcové mě opustili, praví Hospodin. Následovali cizí bohy, sloužili jim a klaněli se jim; mě však opustili a můj Zákon nedodržovali.

16:11  Řekni jim: Protože mě vaši otcové opustili, je Hospodinův výrok, a chodili za jinými bohy, sloužili jim a klaněli se jim; a mne opustili a můj zákon nezachovávali.

16:11  Tedy rci jim: Proto že opustili mne otcové vaši, dí Hospodin, a chodíce za bohy cizími, sloužili jim, a klaněli se jim, mne pak opustili, a zákona mého neostříhali.

16:11  Then shalt thou say to them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshiped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;

16:12  And you also have done worse than your fathers: for behold every one of you walketh after the perverseness of his evil heart, so as not to hearken to me.

16:12  And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:

16:12  Vy však jste činili horší věci než vaši otcové; hle, každý z vás si žije podle svého zarputilého a zlého srdce a mne neposlouchá.

16:12  A vy jste ještě horší než vaši otcové. Hle, každý se řídíte svým zarputilým a zlým srdcem, místo abyste poslouchali mě.

16:12  A vy jste páchali ještě větší zlo, nežli vaši otcové; hle, žijete každý podle svého umíněného a zlého srdce a mne neposloucháte.

16:12  Vy pak mnohem jste hůře činili nežli otcové vaši; nebo aj, vy chodíte jeden každý podlé zdání srdce svého zlého, neposlouchajíce mne.

16:12  And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken to me:

16:13  So I will cast you forth out of this land, into a land which you know not, nor your fathers: and there you shall serve strange gods day and night, which shall not give you any rest.

16:13  Z této země vás uvrhnu do země, kterou jste nepoznali vy ani vaši otcové, a tam budete dnem i nocí sloužit jiným bohům. Už pro vás nemám žádné smilování.“

16:13  Proto vás z této země odvrhnu do země, kterou jste neznali vy ani vaši otcové. Tam budete sloužit cizím bohům dnem i nocí, neboť už se nad vámi neslituji.‘“

16:13  Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, [neither] ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not show you favor.

16:14  Therefore behold the days come, saith the Lord, when it shall be said no more: The Lord liveth, that brought forth the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

16:14  „Hle, přicházejí dny, je výrok Hospodinův, kdy se už nebude říkat: ‚Jakože živ je Hospodin, který vyvedl syny Izraele z egyptské země‘,

16:15  But, The LORD liveth, that brought the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave to their fathers.

16:15  But, The LORD lives, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands where he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave to their fathers.

16:16  „Hle, já posílám k mnohým rybářům, je výrok Hospodinův, a ti je vyloví jako ryby, pak také pošlu k mnohým lovcům a ti je budou lovit na každé hoře a na každém pahorku a ve skalních trhlinách.

16:16  Hle, pošlu mnoho rybářů, praví Hospodin, aby je chytali jako ryby. Potom zas pošlu mnoho lovců, aby je lovili po všech horách a návrších a v puklinách mezi skalami.

16:16  Hle, posílám pro mnoho rybářů, je Hospodinův výrok, a budou je chytat jako ryby a potom pošlu pro mnoho lovců a budou je lovit ze všech hor a ze všech návrší a ze skalních trhlin,

16:16  Aj, já pošli k rybářům mnohým, dí Hospodin, aby je vylovili; potom pošli i k mnohým lovcům, aby je zlapali na všeliké hoře, a na všelikém pahrbku, i v děrách skalních.

16:19  Hospodine, má sílo a má záštito, mé útočiště v den soužení, k tobě přijdou pronárody ze všech dálav země a řeknou: „Jistě naši otcové v dědictví obdrželi klam, přelud, který k užitku jim nebyl.“
