2:2  If you will not hear, and if you will not lay it to heart, to give glory to my name, saith the Lord of hosts: I will send poverty upon you, and will curse your blessings, yea I will curse them, because you have not laid it to heart.

2:2  If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

2:2  „Jestliže neposlechnete a nevezmete si k srdci, že máte oslavovat mé jméno, praví Hospodin zástupů, stihnu vás kletbou a vaše žehnání prokleji. A již jsem je proklel, neboť si to k srdci neberete.

2:2  Jestliže neposlechnete a nerozhodnete se vzdávat čest mému jménu, praví Hospodin zástupů, sešlu na vás prokletí a prokleji i vaše žehnání. A už jsem je také proklel, protože jste si to nevzali k srdci.

2:2  Jestliže neposlechnete a nevezmete si k srdci, abyste vzdávali slávu mému jménu, praví Hospodin zástupů, pošlu na vás kletbu a vaše požehnání ⌈změním v kletbu.⌉ Ano, již jsem ho změnil v kletbu, protože si to neberete k srdci.

2:2  Neuposlechnete-li a nesložíte-li v srdci, abyste dali slávu jménu mému, praví Hospodin zástupů, zajisté že pošli na vás zlořečenství, a zlořečiti budu požehnáním vašim. Anobrž již jsem zlořečil každému z nich, nebo jste nikoli nesložili toho v srdci.

2:2  If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay [it] to heart, to give glory to my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; yes, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay [it] to heart.

2:3  Hle, obořím se na vaše potomstvo, vmetu vám do tváře výměty, výměty z vašich svátečních obětí. Vynesou vás i s nimi.

2:4  Věděli jste to, vždyť jsem vám poslal toto rozhodnutí: Chci mít smlouvu s Lévim, praví Hospodin zástupů.

2:4  Tehdy poznáte, že jsem vám poslal toto varování, aby byla zachována má smlouva s Levim, praví Hospodin zástupů.

2:8  Vy jste však z této cesty sešli, mnohé jste přivedli k tomu, že klopýtli o zákon, porušili jste lévijskou smlouvu, praví Hospodin zástupů.

2:8  Vy jste však z té cesty sešli a svým učením jste mnohé srazili! Porušili jste Leviho smlouvu, praví Hospodin zástupů.

2:8  Vy jste se však odvrátili od cesty, mnohé jste poučením přivedli k pádu, zkazili jste lévijskou smlouvu, praví Hospodin zástupů.

2:9  Proto i já jsem způsobil, že jste v nevážnosti a ponížení u všeho lidu, za to, že nestřežíte mé cesty a při výkladu zákona straníte osobám.“

2:13  And this again have you done, you have covered the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping, and bellowing, so that I have no more a regard to sacrifice, neither do I accept any atonement at your hands.

2:13  A ještě se dopouštíte další věci: Hospodinův oltář smáčíte slzami, pláčete a sténáte, protože již nehledí na obětní dar a nemá zalíbení v tom, co přinášíte.

2:13  A provádíte ještě něco: Zaléváte Hospodinův oltář slzami, pláčete a naříkáte, že už si nevšímá vašich obětí, že už ho z vašich rukou netěší.

2:13  A ještě toto činíte: Zakrýváte Hospodinův oltář slzami, pláčem a nářkem, zatímco on již nehledí na přídavnou oběť, nepřijme ji od vás se zalíbením.

2:13  Již to podruhé činíte, že přikrýváte slzami oltář Hospodinův, pláčem a křikem, pročež nikoli nepatří již více k daru, aniž přijímá oběti vzácné z ruky vaší.

2:13  And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth [it] with good will at your hand.

2:14  And you have said: For what cause? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee, and the wife of thy youth, whom thou hast despised: yet she was thy partner, and the wife of thy covenant.

2:14  Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

2:14  Ptáte se proč? Proto, že Hospodin je svědkem mezi tebou a ženou tvého mládí, vůči níž ses zachoval věrolomně, ačkoli je to tvá družka a žena podle smlouvy.

2:14  Ptáte se: „Proč?“ Protože Hospodin je svědkem mezi tebou a manželkou tvého mládí, které jsi nevěrný. Vždyť je to tvá společnice, tvá manželka podle smlouvy!

2:14  A ptáte se: Proč? Protože Hospodin je svědkem mezi tebou a ženou tvého mládí, vůči níž jsi byl nevěrný, ačkoliv ona je tvou družkou, ženou tvé smlouvy.

2:14  A však říkáte? Pro kterou příčinu? Proto že Hospodin jest svědkem mezi tebou a manželkou mladosti tvé, kteréž ty nevěrně činíš, ješto ona jest tovaryška tvá, a manželka smlouvy tvé.

2:15  Did not one make her, and she is the residue of his spirit? And what doth one seek, but the seed of God? Keep then your spirit, and despise not the wife of thy youth.

2:15  Což on neučinil člověka jednoho a nedal mu částku ducha? Oč má ten jeden usilovat? O Boží potomstvo. Střezte svého ducha, nikdo ať se nezachová věrolomně k ženě svého mládí.

2:15  Neučinil dva jedním? Měl přece ducha nazbyt. Proč tedy jedním? Šlo mu o símě Boží. Chraňte se tedy, abyste nebyli nevěrní manželce svého mládí.

2:15  ⌈Ten, kdo má ostatek ducha, to nebude dělat.⌉ A co udělal ten jeden, když hledal potomka od Boha? Mějte se na pozoru ve svém duchu, vůči ženě svého mládí ať není nikdo nevěrný.

2:15  Zdaliž neučinil jedno, ačkoli ještě více ducha měl? Proč pak jedno? Aby hledali semene Božího. Protož ostříhejte ducha svého, a manželce mladosti své nečiňte nevěrně.

2:16  „Každý ať nenávidí rozvod, praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, ať na svém oděvu přikryje násilí, praví Hospodin zástupů.“ Střezte tedy svého ducha, nejednejte věrolomně!

2:16  Nenávidím rozvod! praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele. Nenávidím ho jako plášť potřísněný násilím, praví Hospodin zástupů. Chraňte se tedy a nebuďte nevěrní.

2:16  Neboť nenávidím propuštění, praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, a toho, kdo přikrývá násilí na svém oděvu, praví Hospodin zástupů. Mějte se na pozoru ve svém duchu a nebuďte nevěrní.

2:16  Proto že v nenávisti má propouštění, praví Hospodin Bůh Izraelský, proto že takový přikrývá ukrutnost pláštěm jeho, praví Hospodin zástupů, protož ostříhejte ducha svého, abyste nečinili nevěrně.

2:16  For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith, that he hateth putting away: for [one] covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

2:16  For I hate divorce," says the Lord, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says the Lord of hosts. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.

2:16  For the LORD, the God of Israel, said that he hates putting away: for one covers violence with his garment, said the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that you deal not treacherously.

2:16  Cum odio habueris, dimitte, dicit Dominus Deus Israël : operiet autem iniquitas vestimentum ejus, dicit Dominus exercituum. Custodite spiritum vestrum, et nolite despicere.

2:17  You have wearied the Lord with your words, and you said: Wherein have we wearied him? In that you say: Every one that doth evil, is good in the sight of the Lord, and such please him: or surely where is the God of judgment?

2:17  Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

2:17  Unavujete Hospodina svými slovy. Ptáte se: „Čím ho unavujeme?“ Tím, že říkáte: „Každý, kdo se dopouští zlého, líbí se Hospodinu, takovým on přeje.“ Anebo: „Kde je Bůh zastávající právo?“

2:17  Unavujete Hospodina svými řečmi. „Jak ho unavujeme?“ ptáte se. Tak, že říkáte: „Hospodinu se líbí kdejaký zločinec; takové má zřejmě v oblibě!“ Také se ptáte: „Kde je ten Bůh soudu?“

2:17  Unavujete Hospodina svými slovy. Ptáte se: Čím ho unavujeme? Tím , že říkáte: Každý, kdo páchá zlo, je dobrý v Hospodinových očích, v takových on má zalíbení, anebo: Kde je spravedlivý Bůh?

2:17  Těžcí jste Hospodinu slovy svými, a však říkáte: V čem jsme těžcí? Když říkáte: Každý, kdož činí zlé, líbí se Hospodinu, a v těch on líbost má, aneb: Kde jest Bůh soudu?

2:17  Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, In what have we wearied [him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of judgment?

2:17  You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you say, 'How have we wearied him?' In that you say, 'Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delights in them;' or 'Where is the God of justice?'

2:17  You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say, Wherein have we wearied him? When you say, Every one that does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

2:17  Laborare fecistis Dominum in sermonibus vestris, et dixistis : In quo eum fecimus laborare ? In eo quod dicitis : Omnis qui facit malum bonus est in conspectu Domini, et tales ei placent : aut certe ubi est Deus judicii ?
