7:1  These things the Lord God shewed to me: and behold the locust was formed in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter rain, and lo, it was the latter rain after the king's mowing.

7:1  Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

7:1  Toto mi ukázal Panovník Hospodin: Hle, připravuje kobylky, když začíná růst otava. Po královské senoseči, sotvaže otava vzešla,

7:1  Panovník Hospodin mi ukázal toto: Když skončila senoseč pro krále a tráva začínala růst k pozdnímu sečení, hle – nachystal roje kobylek!

7:1  Toto mi ukázal Panovník Hospodin: Hle, tvořil kobylky, když začala vzcházet jarní setba. A hle, jarní setba vzchází po královské žatvě.

7:1  Toto mi ukázal Panovník Hospodin, že aj, formoval kobylky, když nejprvé počala růsti otava, když aj, otava byla po královském posečení.

7:2  stalo se, že docela sežraly byliny země. I řekl jsem: „Panovníku Hospodine, odpusť prosím! Jak Jákob obstojí? Je tak nepatrný!“

7:2  Když sežraly veškerou zeleň na zemi, řekl jsem: „Hospodine, Pane můj, prosím odpusť! Jak to Jákob vydrží? Vždyť je tak maličký!“

7:2  Stalo se, když ⌈zcela sežraly⌉ zeleň země, že jsem řekl: Panovníku Hospodine, odpusť, prosím! Jak Jákob obstojí? Vždyť je malý!

7:2  I stalo se, když snědly byliny zemské, že jsem řekl: Panovníče Hospodine, odpustiž, prosím. Kdož zůstane Jákobovi? Neboť ho maličko jest.

7:2  And it came to pass, [that] when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he [is] small.

7:4  Toto mi ukázal Panovník Hospodin: Hle, Panovník Hospodin volá, že povede spor ohněm. Ten pozřel obrovskou propastnou tůň a zžírá už i Jákobův podíl.

7:4  Panovník Hospodin mi ukázal toto: Hle – Panovník Hospodin volal, že povede soud ohněm! Když strávil širý oceán a měl pohltit i zem,

7:4  Toto mi ukázal Panovník Hospodin: Hle, Panovník Hospodin ⌈zavolal na soud⌉ ohněm. Ten strávil velkou hlubinu a stravuje díl země.

7:4  Tedy ukázal mi Panovník Hospodin, a aj, Panovník Hospodin volal, že při svou povede ohněm. A spáliv propast velikou, spálil i díl.

7:7  Toto mi ukázal: Hle, Panovník stojí na hradbách s olovnicí, s olovnicí v ruce. I řekl mi Hospodin: „Ámosi, co vidíš?“

7:7  Potom mi ukázal toto: Pán stál na hradbě s olovnicí, s olovnicí v ruce.

7:7  Toto mi ukázal: Hle, Panovník stál na ⌈hradbě postavené podle olovnice⌉ a v jeho ruce byla olovnice.

7:8  And the Lord said to me: What seest thou, Amos? And I said: A mason's trowel. And the Lord said: Behold, I will lay down the trowel in the midst of my people Israel. I will plaster them over no more.

7:8  And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

7:8  Odpověděl jsem: „Olovnici.“ A Panovník řekl: „Hle, spustím olovnici doprostřed Izraele, svého lidu. Už mu nebudu dál promíjet.

7:8  „Co vidíš, Amosi?“ zeptal se mě Hospodin. „Olovnici,“ odpověděl jsem. Tehdy mi Pán řekl: „Hle, spouštím olovnici doprostřed svého lidu, Izraele. Víckrát už je neušetřím.

7:8  Hospodin mi řekl: ⌈Co vidíš,⌉ Ámosi? Odpověděl jsem: Olovnici. Panovník řekl: Hle, umístím olovnici doprostřed ⌈svého lidu,⌉ Izraele. Nebudu mu již déle promíjet.

7:8  I řekl mi Hospodin: Co vidíš, Amose? Řekl jsem: Pravidlo. I řekl Pán: Aj, já položím pravidlo u prostřed lidu svého Izraelského, nebuduť již více promíjeti jemu.

7:8  And the LORD said to me, Amos, what seest thou? and I said, A plumb-line. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumb-line in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

7:8  The Lord said to me, "Amos, what do you see?" I said, "A plumb line." Then the Lord said, "Behold, I will set a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.

7:8  Et dixit Dominus ad me : Quid tu vides, Amos ? Et dixi : Trullam cæmentarii. Et dixit Dominus : Ecce ego ponam trullam in medio populi mei Israël ; non adjiciam ultra superinducere eum.

7:9  And the high places of the idol shall be thrown down, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste: and I will rise up against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

7:9  Posvátná návrší Izákova budou zpustošena, Izraelovy svatyně budou obráceny v trosky, proti domu Jarobeámovu se postavím s mečem.“

7:9  Izákovy obětní výšiny budou zničeny, z izraelských svatyní budou sutiny, až s mečem povstanu proti Jeroboámovu domu!“

7:9  Izákova návrší budou zpustošena, izraelské svatyně zpustnou a proti domu Jarobeámovu povstanu s mečem.

7:9  Nebo zpuštěny budou výsosti Izákovy, a svatyně Izraelovy zpustnou, tehdáž, když povstanu proti domu Jeroboámovu s mečem.

7:9  And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

7:10  And Amasias the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying: Amos hath rebelled against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

7:10  Then Amaziah the priest of Beth–el sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

7:10  Bételský kněz Amasjáš poslal izraelskému králi Jarobeámovi zprávu: „Spikl se proti tobě Ámos přímo v izraelském domě. Není možné, aby země snášela všechna jeho slova.

7:10  Betelský kněz Amaciáš tehdy vzkázal izraelskému králi Jeroboámovi: „Amos proti tobě osnuje spiknutí v samém srdci Izraele. Země nemůže všechny ty jeho řeči snést.

7:10  Tehdy bételský kněz Amasjáš poslal k izraelskému králi Jarobeámovi se slovy: Ámos se proti tobě spikl uprostřed domu izraelského. Země není schopna snášet všechna jeho slova.

7:10  Tedy poslal Amaziáš kněz Bethelský k Jeroboámovi králi Izraelskému, řka: Spuntoval se proti tobě Amos u prostřed domu Izraelského, ta země nemohla by snésti všech slov jeho.

7:14  Ámos Amasjášovi odpověděl: „Nebyl jsem prorok ani prorocký žák, zabýval jsem se dobytkem a sykomorami.

7:14  Amos na to Amaciášovi odpověděl: „Nebýval jsem prorok ani prorocký učedník – choval jsem dobytek a pěstoval fíky.

7:14  Ámos odpověděl Amasjášovi: Já jsem nebyl prorok ani prorocký žák, ale byl jsem chovatel dobytka a pěstitel fíkovníků sykomor.

7:14  Tedy odpovídaje Amos, řekl Amaziášovi: Nebylť jsem já prorokem, ano ani synem prorockým, ale byl jsem skotákem, a česával jsem plané fíky.

7:14  Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I [was] no prophet, neither [was] I a prophet's son; but I [was] a herdman, and a gatherer of sycamore fruit:

7:15  And the Lord took me when I followed the flock, and the Lord said to me: Go, prophesy to my people Israel.

7:16  Slyš tedy slovo Hospodinovo. Ty říkáš: ‚Neprorokuj proti Izraeli, nevynášej věštbu proti Izákovu domu!‘

7:16  Proto teď slyš slovo Hospodinovo. Ty říkáš: ‚Neprorokuj o Izraeli, o domu Izákovu neřečni!‘

7:16  Nyní slyš Hospodinovo slovo: Ty říkáš: Neprorokuj proti Izraeli a nemluv proti domu Izákovu.

7:16  Nyní tedy slyšiž slovo Hospodinovo. Ty pravíš: Neprorokuj v Izraeli, a nekaž v domě Izákově.

7:16  Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not [thy word] against the house of Isaac.

7:16  Now therefore listen to the word of the Lord: 'You say, Do not prophesy against Israel, and do not proclaim against the house of Isaac.'

7:17  Therefore thus saith the Lord: Thy wife shall play the harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be measured by a line: and thou shalt die in a polluted land, and Israel shall go into captivity out of their land.

7:17  Therefore thus saith the Lord; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

7:17  Proto Hospodin praví toto: ‚Tvoje žena bude v městě provozovat smilství, tvoji synové a dcery padnou mečem, tvá půda bude rozměřena provazcem a ty zemřeš v zemi nečisté.‘ Izrael bude zcela jistě přesídlen ze své země.“

7:17  Nuže, toto praví Hospodin: Tvá žena bude smilnit ve městě a tví synové i dcery padnou mečem. Tvá země bude rozměřena provazcem a ty zemřeš v zemi nečisté. Izrael musí být jistojistě ze své země vysídlen!“

7:17  Proto takto praví Hospodin: Tvá žena ⌈bude smilnit ve městě,⌉ tvoji synové a tvé dcery padnou mečem, tvá země bude rozdělena provazem a ty zemřeš v nečisté zemi. ⌈Izrael bude ze své země zcela jistě odveden do exilu.⌉

7:17  Protož takto praví Hospodin: Žena tvá cizoložiti bude v městě, synové pak tvoji i dcery tvé od meče padnou; a země tvá provazcem dělena bude, a ty v zemi nečisté umřeš, Izrael pak jistotně přestěhován bude z země své.

7:17  Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be a harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go from his land into captivity.

7:17  Therefore thus says the Lord: 'Your wife shall be a prostitute in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by line; and you yourself shall die in a land that is unclean, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land.'"

7:17  Therefore thus said the LORD; Your wife shall be an harlot in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by line; and you shall die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

7:17  Propter hoc hæc dicit Dominus : Uxor tua in civitate fornicabitur, et filii tui et filiæ tuæ in gladio cadent, et humus tua funiculo metietur : et tu in terra polluta morieris, et Israël captivus migrabit de terra sua.
