17:9  Pověz: Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: Vydaří se? Nevytrhne ji orel i s kořeny, a neotrhá jí plody, takže zaschne a všechno listí, jež na ní vyrašilo, uschne? Nebude třeba veliké síly a mnohého lidu, aby byla vyrvána z kořene.

17:9  Řekni: ‚Tak praví Panovník Hospodin – Copak uspěje? Nebude vyrvána i s kořeny? Copak zbavena plodů neuschne? Neuschnou všechny výhonky, které z ní rašily? Nebude třeba velké síly ani mocné armády, aby byla vyrvána i s kořeny.

17:9  Řekni: Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: Vydaří se? Cožpak nezpřetrhá její kořeny a neotrhá její ovoce a neuschne? ⌈Každý její čerstvě utržený výhonek uschne.⌉ Nebude třeba velké síly a početného lidu, aby ji vytrhli z kořenů.

17:9  Rci: Takto praví Panovník Hospodin: Zdaliž se podaří? Zdaliž kořenů jeho nevytrhá, a ovoce jeho neotrhá a neusuší? Zdaž všech ratolestí vyrostlých z něho neusuší? Zdaliž s velikou silou a s mnohým lidem nevyhladí ho z kořenů jeho?

17:17  Ani s velikým vojskem a s mnohými sbory nebude mu farao nic platný v bitvě, až navrší násep a zbuduje obléhací valy, aby vyhladil mnoho duší.

17:22  Tak praví Panovník Hospodin: Já vezmu snítku ze samé špičky cedru, útlou ratolest vytrhnu z jeho koruny a na vysoké strmé hoře si ji zasadím,

17:22  Toto praví Panovník Hospodin: Já vezmu z vrcholku toho vzrostlého cedru a uložím to, z vrcholu utrhnu jeho útlé ratolesti a sám je zasadím na vysoké čnící hoře.

17:22  Takto praví Panovník Hospodin: A však vezmu z vrchu cedru toho vysokého a vsadím, z vrchu mladistvých ratolestí jeho mladou větvičku ulomím, a štípím na hoře vysoké a vyvýšené.

17:23  Zasadím ji na vyvýšené hoře izraelské a vyžene větve, ponese plody a stane se nádherným cedrem. Pod ním bude bydlit všechno ptactvo, všechno, co má křídla, bude bydlit ve stínu jeho větvoví.

17:23  Na hoře vysoké Izraelské štípím ji, i vypustí ratolesti, a ponese ovoce, a tak učiněna bude cedrem slavným, a bude bydliti pod ním všeliké ptactvo; všecko, což křídla má, v stínu ratolestí jeho bydliti bude.

17:24  Pak poznají všechny polní stromy, že já Hospodin ⌈jsem snížil strom vysoký, vyvýšil jsem strom nízký,⌉ nechal jsem vyschnout strom syrový a nechám rozpučet strom vyschlý. ⌈Já Hospodin jsem promluvil a také to vykonám.⌉

17:24  A tak zvědí všecka dříví polní, že já Hospodin snížil jsem dřevo vysoké, a povýšil jsem dřeva nízkého; usušil jsem strom zelený, a způsobil to, aby zkvetl strom suchý. Já Hospodin mluvil jsem to i učiním.
