2:2  Šel jsem tam na Boží pokyn a těm, kteří jsou ve zvláštní vážnosti, jsem v soukromí předložil evangelium, které zvěstuji pohanům, aby snad moje nynější i dřívější úsilí nebylo nadarmo.

2:2  Přišel jsem tehdy na základě zjevení. Sešel jsem se soukromě s váženými vůdci a seznámil je s evangeliem, které kážu mezi pohany, aby snad můj dosavadní ani další běh nebyl zbytečný.

2:2  Vystoupil jsem tam ⌈na základě⌉ zjevení a předložil jsem jim evangelium, které hlásám mezi pohany; předložil jsem je však v soukromí těm, kteří jsou uznáváni, abych snad neběžel nebo nebyl běžel nadarmo.

2:6  Pokud jde o ty, kdo jsou považováni za vůdce (ať už jsou cokoli, mně na tom nezáleží, Bůh nestraní nikomu), mně osobně nic nepřidali.

2:9  And when they had known the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship: that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision:

2:9  Když poznali milost, která mi byla dána - Jakub a Petr a Jan, kteří byli uznáváni za sloupy církve - podali mně a Barnabášovi pravici na stvrzení naší dohody, že my půjdeme mezi pohany a oni mezi židy.

2:9  Jakub, Petr a Jan, považovaní za sloupy církve, tedy poznali, jakou jsem dostal milost, a podali mně i Barnabášovi pravice jako společníkům s tím, že my půjdeme k pohanům a oni k obřezaným.

2:9  když tedy poznali tu milost, která mi byla dána, podali Jakub, Kéfas a Jan, kteří byli uznáváni za sloupy církve, mně i Barnabášovi pravici na důkaz společenství, abychom my šli mezi pohany a oni mezi obřezané.

2:9  A poznavše milost mně danou, Jakub a Petr a Jan, kteříž se zdadí sloupové býti, podali pravic mně a Barnabášovi na tovaryšství, abychom my mezi pohany, a oni mezi Židy kázali.

2:14  Když jsem však viděl, že nejdou přímo za pravdou evangelia, řekl jsem Petrovi přede všemi: „Jestliže ty, který jsi Žid, nedodržuješ mezi námi židovský zákon, jak to, že nutíš pohany, aby ho dodržovali?“

2:14  Když jsem uviděl, jak pokulhávají za pravdou evangelia, řekl jsem Petrovi přede všemi: „Ty že jsi Žid? Sám nežiješ jako Žid, ale jako pohan! Proč tedy nutíš pohany k židovství?"

2:14  Když jsem však uviděl, že nejdou rovně podle pravdy evangelia, řekl jsem Kéfovi přede všemi: „Jestliže ty, ač jsi Žid, žiješ pohansky, a ne židovsky, jak to, že nutíš pohany, aby žili jako Židé?“

2:14  Ale já uzřev, že nesprostně chodí v pravdě evangelium, řekl jsem Petrovi přede všemi: Poněvadž ty jsa Žid, pohansky živ jsi, a ne Židovsky, proč pohany k Židovskému způsobu nutíš?

2:14  But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before [them] all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

2:14  But when I saw that they did not walk uprightly according to the truth of the Good News, I said to Cephas before them all, "If you, being a Jew, live as the Gentiles do, and not as the Jews do, how can you compel the Gentiles to live as the Jews do?

2:14  But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, If you, being a Jew, live after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compel you the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

2:16  But knowing that man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, we also believe in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

2:16  víme však, že člověk se nestává spravedlivým před Bohem na základě skutků přikázaných zákonem, nýbrž vírou v Krista Ježíše. I my jsme uvěřili v Ježíše Krista, abychom došli spravedlnosti z víry v Krista, a ne ze skutků zákona. Vždyť ze skutků zákona ‚nebude nikdo ospravedlněn‘.

2:16  víme, že člověka nemohou ospravedlnit skutky Zákona, ale jen víra v Ježíše Krista. Proto jsme sami uvěřili v Ježíše Krista, abychom byli ospravedlněni Kristovou vírou, a ne skutky Zákona. Skutky Zákona přece nikoho neospravedlní!

2:16  když [však] víme, že člověk není ospravedlňován ze skutků Zákona, nýbrž skrze víru v Ježíše Krista, i my jsme v Krista Ježíše uvěřili, abychom byli ospravedlněni z víry Kristovy, a ne ze skutků Zákona, protože ze skutků Zákona nebude ospravedlněn žádný člověk.

2:16  Vědouce, že nebývá člověk ospravedlněn z skutků zákona, ale skrze víru v Jezukrista, i my v Krista uvěřili jsme, abychom ospravedlněni byli z víry Kristovy, a ne z skutků zákona, proto že nebude ospravedlněn z skutků zákona žádný člověk.

2:16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we may be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

2:17  Jestliže hledáme ospravedlnění v Kristu a jsme tedy zřejmě i my hříšníci, je snad proto Kristus služebníkem hříchu? Naprosto ne!

2:17  Když tedy hledáme ospravedlnění v Kristu, poněvadž se ukazuje, že i my jsme hříšní, znamená to, že Kristus napomáhá hříchu? V žádném případě!

2:17  Jestliže však i my, kteří hledáme ospravedlnění v Kristu, jsme byli shledáni hříšnými, je snad proto Kristus služebníkem hříchu? Naprosto ne!

2:17  Jestliže pak hledajíce ospravedlněni býti v Kristu, nalézáme se i my hříšníci, tedy jest Kristus služebník hřícha? Nikoli.

2:19  Já však, odsouzen zákonem, jsem mrtev pro zákon, abych živ byl pro Boha. Jsem ukřižován spolu s Kristem,

2:19  Díky Zákonu jsem ale pro Zákon mrtvý, abych byl živý pro Boha.

2:19  Vždyť já jsem skrze Zákon umřel Zákonu, abych žil Bohu. S Kristem jsem ukřižován:

2:20  Jsem ukřižován s Kristem. Nežiji už já – Kristus žije ve mně! Svůj život v tomto těle žiji ve víře v Božího Syna, který si mě zamiloval a vydal za mě sám sebe.

2:20  Nežiji už já, ale žije ve mně Kristus. Život, který nyní žiji v těle, žiji ve víře v ⌈Syna Božího⌉, který si mne zamiloval a vydal sebe samého za mne.

2:20  S Kristem ukřižován jsem. Živť jsem pak již ne já, ale živ jest ve mně Kristus. Že pak nyní živ jsem v těle, u víře Syna Božího živ jsem, kterýž zamiloval mne, a vydal sebe samého za mne.

2:21  Nepohrdám Boží milostí: Kdybychom mohli dosáhnout spravedlnosti skrze zákon, byla by Kristova smrt zbytečná.

2:21  Neodmítám tu Boží milost. Spočívá-li totiž spravedlnost v plnění Zákona, potom Kristus zemřel zbytečně.
