II K KJV 20:1  In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
II K DRC 20:2  And he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying:
II K VulgClem 20:2  Qui convertit faciem suam ad parietem, et oravit Dominum, dicens :
II K KJV 20:2  Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying,
II K DRC 20:3  I beseech thee, O Lord, remember how I have walked before thee in truth, and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is pleasing before thee. And Ezechias wept with much weeping.
Flevit itaque Ezechias fletu magno.
II K KJV 20:3  I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
II K DRC 20:4  And before Isaias was gone out of the middle of the court, the word of the Lord came to him, saying:
II K VulgClem 20:4  Et antequam egrederetur Isaias mediam partem atrii, factus est sermo Domini ad eum, dicens :
II K KJV 20:4  And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
II K DRC 20:5  Go back, and tell Ezechias, the captain of my people: Thus saith the Lord, the God of David, thy father: I have heard thy prayer, and I have seen thy tears: and behold I have healed thee: on the third day thou shalt go up to the temple of the Lord.
II K VulgClem 20:5  Revertere, et dic Ezechiæ duci populi mei : Hæc dicit Dominus Deus David patris tui : Audivi orationem tuam, et vidi lacrimas tuas, et ecce sanavi te : die tertio ascendes templum Domini.
II K KJV 20:5  Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.
II K DRC 20:6  And I will add to thy days fifteen years: and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of the Assyrians, and I will protect this city for my own sake, and for David, my servant's sake.
II K KJV 20:6  And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.
II K DRC 20:7  And Isaias said: Bring me a lump of figs. And when they had brought it, and laid it upon his boil, he was healed.
II K VulgClem 20:7  Dixitque Isaias : Afferte massam ficorum.
II K KJV 20:7  And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
II K DRC 20:8  And Ezechias had said to Isaias: What shall be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I will go up to the temple of the Lord the third day?
II K VulgClem 20:8  Dixerat autem Ezechias ad Isaiam : Quod erit signum, quia Dominus me sanabit, et quia ascensurus sum die tertia templum Domini ?
II K KJV 20:8  And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the Lord the third day?
II K DRC 20:9  And Isaias said to him: This shall be the sign from the Lord, that the Lord will do the word which he hath spoken: Wilt thou that the shadow go forward ten lines, or that it go back so many degrees?
II K VulgClem 20:9  Cui ait Isaias : Hoc erit signum a Domino quod facturus sit Dominus sermonem quem locutus est : vis ut ascendat umbra decem lineis, an ut revertatur totidem gradibus ?
II K KJV 20:9  And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
II K DRC 20:10  And Ezechias said: It is an easy matter for the shadow to go forward ten lines: and I do not desire that this be done, but let it return back ten degrees.
II K KJV 20:10  And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.
II K DRC 20:11  And Isaias, the prophet, called upon the Lord, and he brought the shadow ten degrees backwards by the lines, by which it had already gone down on the dial of Achaz.
II K VulgClem 20:11  Invocavit itaque Isaias propheta Dominum, et reduxit umbram per lineas quibus jam descenderat in horologio Achaz, retrorsum decem gradibus.
II K KJV 20:11  And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the Lord: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
II K DRC 20:12  At that time Berodach Baladan, the son of Baladan, king of the Babylonians, sent letters and presents to Ezechias: for he had heard that Ezechias had been sick.
II K KJV 20:12  At that time Berodach–baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.
II K DRC 20:13  And Ezechias rejoiced at their coming, and he shewed them the house of his aromatical spices, and the gold, and the silver, and divers precious odours, and ointments, and the house of his vessels, and all that he had in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominions, that Ezechias shewed them not.
II K KJV 20:13  And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
II K DRC 20:14  And Isaias, the prophet, came to king Ezechias, and said to him: What said these men? or from whence came they to thee? And Ezechias said to him: From a far country, they came to me out of Babylon.
II K KJV 20:14  Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.
II K DRC 20:15  And he said: What did they see in thy house? Ezechias said: They saw all the things that are in my house: There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
II K VulgClem 20:15  At ille respondit : Quid viderunt in domo tua ?
II K KJV 20:15  And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
II K DRC 20:16  And Isaias said to Ezechias: Hear the word of the Lord.
II K VulgClem 20:16  Dixit itaque Isaias Ezechiæ : Audi sermonem Domini :
II K KJV 20:16  And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord.
II K DRC 20:17  Behold the days shall come, that all that is in thy house, and that thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord.
II K VulgClem 20:17  Ecce dies venient, et auferentur omnia quæ sunt in domo tua, et quæ condiderunt patres tui usque in diem hanc, in Babylonem : non remanebit quidquam, ait Dominus.
II K KJV 20:17  Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord.
II K DRC 20:18  And of thy sons also that shall issue from thee, whom thou shalt beget, they shall take away, and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
II K KJV 20:18  And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
II K DRC 20:19  Ezechias said to Isaias: The word of the Lord, which thou hast spoken, is good: let peace and truth be in my days.
II K KJV 20:19  Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?
II K DRC 20:20  And the rest of the acts of Ezechias, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought waters into the city, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda?
II K KJV 20:20  And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
II K DRC 20:21  And Ezechias slept with his fathers, and Manasses, his son reigned in his stead.
II K KJV 20:21  And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
