Chapter 75
Psal DRC 75:1  Unto the end, in praises, a psalm for Asaph: a canticle to the Assyrians.
Psal VulgClem 75:1  In finem, in laudibus. Psalmus Asaph, canticum ad Assyrios.
Psal KJV 75:1  Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
Psal DRC 75:2  In Judea God is known: his name is great in Israel.
Psal VulgClem 75:2  Notus in Judæa Deus ; in Israël magnum nomen ejus.
Psal KJV 75:2  When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
Psal DRC 75:3  And his place is in peace: and his abode in Sion:
Psal VulgClem 75:3  Et factus est in pace locus ejus, et habitatio ejus in Sion.
Psal KJV 75:3  The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
Psal DRC 75:4  There hath he broken the powers of bows, the shield, the sword, and the battle.
Psal VulgClem 75:4  Ibi confregit potentias arcuum, scutum, gladium, et bellum.
Psal KJV 75:4  I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
Psal DRC 75:5  Thou enlightenest wonderfully from the everlasting hills.
Psal VulgClem 75:5  Illuminans tu mirabiliter a montibus æternis ;
Psal KJV 75:5  Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
Psal DRC 75:6  All the foolish of heart were troubled. They have slept their sleep; and all the men of riches have found nothing in their hands.
Psal VulgClem 75:6  turbati sunt omnes insipientes corde. Dormierunt somnum suum, et nihil invenerunt omnes viri divitiarum in manibus suis.
Psal KJV 75:6  For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
Psal DRC 75:7  At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, they have all slumbered that mounted on horseback.
Psal VulgClem 75:7  Ab increpatione tua, Deus Jacob, dormitaverunt qui ascenderunt equos.
Psal KJV 75:7  But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
Psal DRC 75:8  Thou art terrible, and who shall resist thee? from that time thy wrath.
Psal VulgClem 75:8  Tu terribilis es ; et quis resistet tibi ? ex tunc ira tua.
Psal KJV 75:8  For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
Psal DRC 75:9  Thou hast caused judgment to be heard from heaven: the earth trembled and was still,
Psal VulgClem 75:9  De cælo auditum fecisti judicium : terra tremuit et quievit
Psal KJV 75:9  But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
Psal DRC 75:10  When God arose in judgment, to save all the meek of the earth.
Psal VulgClem 75:10  cum exsurgeret in judicium Deus, ut salvos faceret omnes mansuetos terræ.
Psal KJV 75:10  All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
Psal DRC 75:11  For the thought of man shall give praise to thee: and the remainders of the thought shall keep holiday to thee.
Psal VulgClem 75:11  Quoniam cogitatio hominis confitebitur tibi, et reliquiæ cogitationis diem festum agent tibi.

Psal DRC 75:12  Vow ye, and pay to the Lord your God: all you that are round about him bring presents. To him that is terrible,

Psal DRC 75:13  Even to him who taketh away the spirit of princes: to the terrible with the kings of the earth.
