11:1  And there was given me a reed, like unto a rod. And it was said to me: Arise, and measure the temple of God and the altar and them that adore therein.

11:1  I dána mi třtina, podobná prutu, a postavil se tu anděl, řka: Vstaň, a změř chrám Boží, i oltář, i ty, kteříž se modlí v něm.

11:13  V tu hodinu nastalo veliké zemětřesení, desetina toho města se zřítila a v zemětřesení zahynulo sedm tisíc lidí. Ostatních se zmocnil strach a vzdali čest Bohu na nebesích.

11:17  Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

11:18  And the nations were angry: and thy wrath is come. And the time of the dead, that they should be judged and that thou shouldest render reward to thy servants the prophets and the saints, and to them that fear thy name, little and great: and shouldest destroy them who have corrupted the earth.

11:18  Rozhněvaly se národy, ale přišel tvůj hněv, čas, aby byli souzeni mrtví a aby byla dána mzda tvým otrokům prorokům a svatým a bojícím se tvého jména, malým i velkým, a aby byli zničeni ti, kteří ničí zemi.“

11:19  And the temple of God was opened in heaven: and the ark of his testament was seen in his temple. And there were lightnings and voices and an earthquake and great hail.

11:19  Tehdy se otevřel Boží chrám v nebi a v jeho chrámu byla vidět truhla jeho smlouvy. Nastalo veliké blýskání, hlasy a hromobití, zemětřesení a veliké krupobití.
