I TIMOTHY
Chapter 2
I Ti | RKJNT | 2:1 | Therefore I urge, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
I Ti | RKJNT | 2:2 | For kings, and for all who are in authority; that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and reverence.
I Ti | RKJNT | 2:7 | And for this I have been appointed a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ and am not lying;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
I Ti | RKJNT | 2:8 | Therefore, I want men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or dissension.
I Ti | RKJNT | 2:9 | In like manner also, let women adorn themselves in proper apparel, modestly and soberly; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly attire;
I Ti | RKJNT | 2:12 | I do not allow a woman to teach, or to have authority over a man; she must keep silent.
