Ruth DRC 2:3  She went, therefore, and gleaned the ears of corn after the reapers. And it happened that the owner of that field was Booz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.
Ruth KJV 2:3  And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.

Ruth DRC 2:5  And Booz said to the young man that was set over the reapers: Whose maid is this ?
Ruth KJV 2:5  Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?

Ruth DRC 2:6  And he answered him: This is the Moabitess, who came with Noemi, from the land of Moab,
Ruth KJV 2:6  And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:
Ruth CzeCSP 2:6  A ten nad ženci ustanovený služebník mu odpověděl.
Ruth CzeBKR 2:6  Odpověděl služebník ten, kterýž postaven byl nad ženci, a řekl: Jest mladice Moábská, kteráž přišla s Noémi z země Moábské.

Ruth DRC 2:7  And she desired leave to glean the ears of corn that remain, following the steps of the reapers: and she hath been in the field from morning till now, and hath not gone home for one moment.
Ruth KJV 2:7  And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.

Ruth DRC 2:8  And Booz said to Ruth: Hear me, daughter, do not go to glean in any other field, and do not depart from this place: but keep with my maids,
Ruth KJV 2:8  Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:

Ruth AKJV 2:8  Then said Boaz to Ruth, Hear you not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:
Ruth DRC 2:9  And follow where they reap. For I have charged my young men, not to molest thee: and if thou art thirsty, go to the vessels, and drink of the waters whereof the servants drink.
Ruth KJV 2:9  Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.
Ruth Webster 2:9  [Let] thy eyes [be] on the field that they are reaping, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art thirsty go to the vessels, and drink of [that] which the young men have drawn.
Ruth NHEB 2:9  Let your eyes be on the field that they reap, and go after them. Haven't I commanded the young men not to touch you? When you are thirsty, go to the vessels, and drink from that which the young men have drawn."

Ruth DRC 2:10  She fell on her face, and worshipping upon the ground, said to him: Whence cometh this to me, that I should find grace before thy eyes, and that thou shouldst vouchsafe to take notice of me, a woman of another country?
Ruth KJV 2:10  Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?
Ruth Webster 2:10  Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said to him, Why have I found grace in thy eyes, that thou shouldst take knowledge of me, seeing I [am] a stranger?

Ruth AKJV 2:10  Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said to him, Why have I found grace in your eyes, that you should take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?
Ruth DRC 2:11  And he answered her: All hath been told me, that thou hast done to thy mother in law after the death of thy husband: and how thou hast left thy parents, and the land wherein thou wast born, and art come to a people which thou knewest not heretofore.
Ruth KJV 2:11  And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.
Ruth Webster 2:11  And Boaz answered and said to her, It hath fully been shown to me, all that thou hast done to thy mother-in-law since the death of thy husband: and [how] thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and hast come to a people which thou knewest not heretofore.
Ruth NHEB 2:11  Boaz answered her, "It has fully been shown to me, all that you have done to your mother-in-law since the death of your husband; and how you have left your father and your mother, and the land of your birth, and have come to a people that you didn't know before.
Ruth AKJV 2:11  And Boaz answered and said to her, It has fully been showed me, all that you have done to your mother in law since the death of your husband: and how you have left your father and your mother, and the land of your nativity, and are come to a people which you knew not heretofore.
Ruth DRC 2:12  The Lord render unto thee for thy work, and mayst thou receive a full reward of the Lord the God of Israel, to whom thou art come, and under whose wings thou art fled.
Ruth KJV 2:12  The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
Ruth CzeCEP 2:12  Nechť ti Hospodin odplatí za tvůj skutek. Ať tě bohatě odmění Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, pod jehož křídla ses přišla ukrýt!“
Ruth CzeB21 2:12  Kéž ti Hospodin za tvůj skutek odplatí! Kéž tě hojně odmění Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, pod jehož křídla ses přišla skrýt.“
Ruth CzeCSP 2:12  Ať Hospodin odplatí tvůj skutek a ať je dovršená tvá odměna od Hospodina, Boha Izraele, pod jehož křídla jsi přišla najít útočiště.
Ruth CzeBKR 2:12  Odplatiž tobě Hospodin za skutek tvůj, a budiž mzda tvá dokonalá od Hospodina Boha Izraelského, poněvadž jsi přišla, abys pod křídly jeho doufala.

Ruth DRC 2:13  And she said: I have found grace in thy eyes, my lord, who hast comforted me, and hast spoken to the heart of thy handmaid, who am not like to one of thy maids.
Ruth KJV 2:13  Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.
Ruth CzeCEP 2:13  Ona řekla: „Kéž bys mi i nadále projevoval přízeň, pane.
„Potěšil jsi mě a mluvil jsi ke své služebnici přívětivě, přestože ani nepatřím k tvým služebným.“
Ruth CzeCSP 2:13  Nato řekla: ⌈Kéž naleznu milost ve tvých očích,⌉ můj pane, protože jsi mne potěšil a protože ⌈jsi mluvil k srdci⌉ své otrokyně, ačkoliv já nejsem rovna žádné tvé otrokyni.
Ruth CzeBKR 2:13  Kterážto řekla: Nalezla jsem milost před tebou, pane můj, poněvadž jsi mne potěšil, a mluvils k srdci děvky své, ješto nejsem podobná jedné z děvek tvých.
Ruth Webster 2:13  Then she said, Let me find favor in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken kindly to thy handmaid, though I am not like to one of thy handmaidens.
Ruth NHEB 2:13  Then she said, "Let me find favor in your sight, my lord, because you have comforted me, and because you have spoken kindly to your handmaid, though I am not as one of your handmaidens."

Ruth DRC 2:14  And Booz said to her: At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. So she sat at the side of the reapers, and she heaped to herself frumenty, and ate and was filled, and took the leavings.
Ruth KJV 2:14  And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.
Ruth CzeCEP 2:14  Když byl čas k jídlu, řekl jí Bóaz: „Přistup blíž, pojez chleba a namáčej si sousta ve víně.“ Přisedla si k žencům a on jí nabídl pražené zrní. Najedla se dosyta a ještě jí zbylo.
Ruth CzeB21 2:14  Když pak přišel čas k jídlu, řekl jí Boáz: „Pojď sem, vezmi si chleba a namáčej si sousta ve víně.“ Přisedla si tedy k žencům, a když jí podal pražené zrní, jedla do sytosti a ještě jí zbylo.
Ruth CzeCSP 2:14  V době jídla jí Bóaz řekl: Přistup sem, pojez chléb a namoč si sousto v octě. Posadila se poblíž ženců. Nabídl jí pražené zrní a ona pojedla, nasytila se a ještě jí zbylo.
Ruth CzeBKR 2:14  Tedy řekl jí Bóz: Když bude čas jísti, přistup sem, a pojez chleba, a omoč skyvu svou v octě. I posadila se při žencích, a podal jí pražmy; ona pak jedla až do sytosti, a ještě jí zbylo.
Ruth Webster 2:14  And Boaz said to her, At meal-time come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched [corn], and she ate, and was satisfied, and left.
Ruth NHEB 2:14  At meal time Boaz said to her, "Come here, and eat of the bread, and dip your morsel in the vinegar." She sat beside the reapers, and they reached her parched grain, and she ate, and was satisfied, and left some of it.
Ruth AKJV 2:14  And Boaz said to her, At mealtime come you here, and eat of the bread, and dip your morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.
Ruth DRC 2:15  And she arose from thence, to glean the ears of corn as before. And Booz commanded his servants, saying: If she would even reap with you, hinder her not:
Ruth KJV 2:15  And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:
