33:3  Znovu vybudoval posvátná návrší, která jeho otec Chizkijáš zbořil, nastavěl oltáře baalům a udělal posvátné kůly a klaněl se veškerému nebeskému zástupu a sloužil mu.

33:7  And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

33:8  And I will not make the foot of Israel to be removed out of the land which I have delivered to their fathers: yet so if they will take heed to do what I have commanded them, and all the law, and the ceremonies, and judgments by the hand of Moses.

33:9  So Manasses seduced Juda, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to do evil beyond all the nations, which the Lord had destroyed before the face of the children of Israel.

33:14  Potom vystavěl vnější hradební zeď Města Davidova v úvalu západně od Gíchónu směrem k Rybné bráně a dál kolem Ófelu a zvedl ji velmi vysoko. Ve všech opevněných městech v Judsku ustanovil velitele vojsk.

33:14  Poté obnovil vnější hradbu Města Davidova západně od pramene Gíchon podél potoka až ke vchodu do Rybné brány a kolem Ofelu. Také ji o hodně zvýšil. Po všech opevněných městech v Judsku rozmístil vojenské velitele.

33:14  A potom vystavěl zed zevnitřní města Davidova k západní straně Gihonu potoku, až kudy se chodí k bráně rybné, a obehnal Ofel, a vyhnal ji velmi vysoko. Rozsadil také hejtmany vojska po všech městech hrazených v Judstvu.
