9:1  And Eliseus the prophet, called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him: Gird up thy loins, and take this little bottle of oil in thy hand, and go to Ramoth Galaad.

9:1  And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramoth–gilead:

9:1  Prorok Elíša zavolal jednoho z prorockých žáků a řekl mu: „Opásej si bedra, do ruky vezmi tuto nádobku oleje a jdi do Rámotu v Gileádu.

9:1  Prorok pak Elizeus povolal jednoho z synů prorockých, a řekl jemu: Přepaš bedra svá, a vezmi tuto nádobku oleje do ruky své, a jdi do Rámot Galád.

9:1  And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said to him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thy hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead:

9:2  And when thou art come thither, thou shalt see Jehu the son of Josaphat the son of Namsi: and going in, thou shalt make him rise up from amongst his brethren, and carry him into an inner chamber.

9:2  And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;

9:2  Až tam přijdeš, poohlédni se po Jehúovi, synu Jóšafata, syna Nimšího. Přijdeš, řekneš, aby vstal ze středu svých bratří, a zavedeš ho do nejzazšího pokojíka.

9:2  Až tam přijdeš, vyhledej Jehua, syna Jošafatova, syna Nimšiho. Jdi za ním, odveď ho od jeho druhů a vezmi ho do nejzazšího pokojíku.

9:2  A když tam přijdeš, uzříš tam Jéhu, syna Jozafata syna Namsi. K němuž když přijdeš, vyvoláš ho z prostředku bratří jeho, a uvedeš ho do nejtajnějšího pokojíku.

9:2  And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;

9:3  Then taking the little bottle of oil, thou shalt pour it on his head, and shalt say: Thus saith the Lord: I have anointed thee king over Israel. And thou shalt open the door and flee, and shalt not stay there.

9:3  Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.

9:3  Pak vezmeš nádobku s olejem, vyleješ mu jej na hlavu a řekneš: ‚Toto praví Hospodin: Pomazal jsem tě za krále nad Izraelem.‘ Otevřeš dveře a dáš se bez otálení na útěk.“

9:3  Tam vezmi nádobku s olejem, vylij mu ji na hlavu a řekni: ‚Tak praví Hospodin: Pomazal jsem tě za krále nad Izraelem.‘ Pak otevři dveře a uteč. Na nic nečekej!“

9:3  Pak vezmi lahvičku s olejem, vylej mu ho na hlavu a řekni: Toto praví Hospodin: Mažu tě za krále nad Izraelem. Nato otevři dveře a utíkej, na nic nečekej.

9:3  A vezma nádobku oleje, vyleješ na hlavu jeho a díš: Toto praví Hospodin: Pomazuji tebe za krále nad Izraelem. A hned otevra dvéře, utec a nemeškej se.

9:3  Then take the box of oil, and pour [it] on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.

9:3  Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, 'Thus says the Lord, "I have anointed you king over Israel."' Then open the door, flee, and do not wait."

9:3  Tenensque lenticulam olei, fundes super caput ejus, et dices : Hæc dicit Dominus : Unxi te regem super Israël. Aperiesque ostium, et fugies, et non ibi subsistes.

9:4  So the young man, the servant of the prophet, went away to Ramoth Galaad,

9:5  And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.

9:5  Přišel, když velitelé vojska právě zasedali. Řekl: „Mám něco pro tebe, veliteli.“ Jehú se tázal: „Pro koho z nás všech?“ Odpověděl: „Pro tebe, veliteli.“

9:5  A když přišel, aj, knížata vojska seděli. I řekl: Mámť něco povědíti, ó kníže. I řekl Jéhu: Komu ze všech nás? Odpověděl: Tobě, ó kníže.

9:5  And when he came, behold, the captains of the host [were] sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, To which of us all? And he said, To thee, O captain.

9:5  When he came, behold, the captains of the army were sitting. Then he said, "I have a message for you, captain." Jehu said, "To which of us all?" He said, "To you, O captain."

9:5  And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to you, O captain. And Jehu said, To which of all us? And he said, To you, O captain.

9:5  et ingressus est illuc : ecce autem principes exercitus sedebant : et ait : Verbum mihi ad te, o princeps. Dixitque Jehu : Ad quem ex omnibus nobis ? At ille dixit : Ad te, o princeps.

9:6  And he arose, and went into the chamber: and he poured the oil upon his head, and said: Thus saith the Lord God of Israel: I have anointed thee king over Israel, the people of the Lord.

9:6  And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel.

9:6  Jehú vstal a vešel dovnitř a on mu vylil na hlavu olej. Řekl mu: „Toto praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele: Pomazal jsem tě za krále nad Hospodinovým lidem, nad Izraelem.

9:6  Vyvstav tedy, všel do vnitřku. I vylil olej na hlavu jeho a řekl jemu: Toto praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraelský: Pomazuji tebe za krále nad lidem Hospodinovým, nad Izraelem.

9:6  And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, [even] over Israel.

9:7  And thou shalt cut off the house of Achab, thy master, and I will revenge the blood of my servants, the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezabel.

9:7  And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel.

9:7  Vybiješ dům svého pána Achaba. Tak pomstím prolitou krev svých služebníků proroků i krev všech Hospodinových služebníků, již prolila Jezábel.

9:7  Vyhladíš dům svého pána Achaba, a tak pomstím krev svých služebníků proroků i krev všech Hospodinových služebníků, prolitou rukama Jezábel.

9:7  Vybiješ dům Achaba, svého pána, a tak pomstím prolitou krev otroků proroků a prolitou krev všech Hospodinových otroků z ruky Jezábely.

9:7  A zmorduješ dům Achaba pána svého; neboť pomstím krve služebníků svých proroků, a krve všech služebníků Hospodinových z ruky Jezábel.

9:7  And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

9:7  You shall strike the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel.

9:7  And you shall smite the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

9:7  et percuties domum Achab domini tui, et ulciscar sanguinem servorum meorum prophetarum, et sanguinem omnium servorum Domini de manu Jezabel.

9:8  And I will destroy all the house of Achab, and I will cut off from Achab, him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up, and the meanest in Israel.

9:8  For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:

9:8  Celý Achabův dům zahyne. Vyhladím z Achabova domu toho, jenž močí na stěnu, a v Izraeli zajatého i zanechaného.

9:8  Celý dům Achabův zahyne. Achabovy potomky dočista vyhladím z Izraele – pána i kmána až do posledního pacholka!

9:8  Vyhyne celý dům Achabův, vyhladím Achabovi ⌈močícího na stěnu,⌉ zadržovaného i propuštěného v Izraeli.

9:8  A tak zahyne všecken dům Achabův, a vypléním z domu Achabova močícího na stěnu, a zajatého i zanechaného v Izraeli.

9:8  For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab the males, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:

9:10  Jezábelu sežerou psi na dílu pole v Jizreelu a nikdo ji nepohřbí.“ Potom otevřel dveře a utekl.

9:11  Then Jehu went forth to the servants of his Lord: and they said to him: Are all things well? why came this madman to thee? And he said to them: You know the man, and what he said.

9:11  Když Jehú vyšel k služebníkům svého pána, tázali se ho: „Je vše v pořádku? Proč k tobě ten ztřeštěnec přišel?“ Řekl jim: „Víte přece, že jaký muž, takové jeho tlachání.“

9:11  Jehu se vrátil mezi vojevůdce svého pána. „Všechno v pořádku? Co ti ten blázen chtěl?“ vyzvídal jeden z nich. „Sami víte, jak takoví lidé blábolí,“ odpověděl jim.

9:11  Když Jehú vyšel k otrokům svého pána, zeptali se ho: Vše v pořádku? Proč k tobě přišel ten potřeštěnec? Odpověděl jim: Znáte toho muže a jeho řeči.

9:11  A když Jéhu vyšel k služebníkům pána svého, řekl mu jeden: Dobře-li se děje? Proč přišel ten blázen k tobě? Odpověděl jim: Vy znáte člověka i řeč jeho.

9:11  Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and [one] said to him, [Is] all well? Why came this mad [man] to thee? And he said to them, Ye know the man, and his communication.

9:12  But they answered: It is false; but rather do thou tell us. And he said to them: Thus and thus did he speak to me: and he said: Thus saith the Lord: I have anointed thee king over Israel.

9:12  And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

9:12  Odpověděli: „Klameš. Pověz nám, co se děje!“ Tu řekl: „Tak a tak ke mně mluvil. Řekl: ‚Toto praví Hospodin: Pomazal jsem tě za krále nad Izraelem.‘“

9:12  I řekli: Klamť jest, pověz nám medle. Kterýž řekl: Takto a takto mluvil mi, řka: Toto praví Hospodin: Pomazuji tě za krále nad Izraelem.

9:12  And they said, [It is] false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus he spoke to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.

9:12  They said, "That is a lie. Tell us now." He said, "He said to me, 'Thus says the Lord, I have anointed you king over Israel.'"

9:12  And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spoke he to me, saying, Thus said the LORD, I have anointed you king over Israel.

9:12  At ille responderunt : Falsum est, sed magis narra nobis. Qui ait eis : Hæc et hæc locutus est mihi, et ait : Hæc dicit Dominus : Unxi te regem super Israël.

9:13  Then they made haste, and taking every man his garment, laid it under his feet, after the manner of a judgment seat, and they sounded the trumpet, and said: Jehu is king.

9:13  Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.

9:13  Každý vzal rychle své roucho a položili mu je pod nohy na schody, zatroubili na polnice a provolávali: „Jehú se stal králem!“

9:13  A oni hned vzali každý svůj plášť, prostřeli ho pod ním na schody, troubili na beraní roh a volali: „Jehu je král!“

9:13  Rychle vzali každý svůj šat, položili ho před něj na holé schody, zatroubili na beraní roh a volali: Jehú se stal králem.

9:13  Tedy rychle vzali jeden každý roucho své, a prostřeli pod něj na nejvyšším stupni, a troubíce v troubu, pravili: Kralujeť Jéhu.

9:14  So Jehu, the son of Josaphat, the son of Namsi, conspired against Joram. Now Joram had besieged Ramoth Galaad, he, and all Israel, fighting with Hazael, king of Syria:

9:14  So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram had kept Ramoth–gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.

9:14  Tak se spikl Jehú, syn Jóšafata, syna Nimšího, proti Jóramovi. Jóram hájil tenkrát s celým Izraelem Rámot v Gileádu proti aramejskému králi Chazaelovi.

9:15  And was returned to be healed in Jezrahel of his wounds; for the Syrians had wounded him, when he fought with Hazael, king of Syria. And Jehu said: If it please you, let no man go forth or flee out of the city, lest he go, and tell in Jezrahel.

9:15  But king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) And Jehu said, If it be your minds, then let none go forth nor escape out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel.

9:27  But Ochozias, king of Juda, seeing this, fled by the way of the garden house: and Jehu pursued him, and said: Strike him also in his chariot. And they struck him in the going up to Gaver, which is by Jeblaam: and he fled into Mageddo, and died there.

9:27  But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.

9:27  But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw [this], he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. [And they did so] at the going up to Gur, which [is] by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.
