Chapter 2
II T Worsley 2:1  But as to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto Him,
II T Worsley 2:2  we beseech you, brethren, that ye be not soon moved from your steadiness of mind, or troubled, neither by Spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from us, that the day of Christ is at hand.
II T Worsley 2:3  Let not any one deceive you by any means; for it shall not come till there come an apostasy first, and the man of sin be revealed,
II T Worsley 2:4  the son of perdition, who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or the object of worship; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

II T Worsley 2:13  But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord; because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth:
II T Worsley 2:14  to which He hath called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
II T Worsley 2:15  Therefore, brethren, be steady, and hold fast the traditions, which ye have been taught, whether by word or by our letter.
II T Worsley 2:16  And may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation, and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts,
