Chapter 3
II T Worsley 3:1  As for the rest, my brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run, and be glorified, as it is among you:
II T Worsley 3:2  and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for all have not faith.
II T Worsley 3:3  But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and preserve you from the evil one.
II T Worsley 3:4  And we trust in the Lord concerning you, that ye both do and will do the things which we give you in charge.
II T Worsley 3:5  And may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.
II T Worsley 3:6  Now we charge you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to withdraw yourselves from every brother who walketh disorderly, and not according to the instruction which he received from us.
II T Worsley 3:7  For ye know how ye ought to imitate us: for we were not disorderly among you;
II T Worsley 3:8  neither did we eat any one's bread for nothing; but with labor and toil, working night and day, that we might not be burthensome to any of you.
II T Worsley 3:9  Not that we have not power, but that we might give ourselves as an example to you to imitate us.
II T Worsley 3:10  For when we were with you, we gave you this charge, if any will not work, neither let him eat.
II T Worsley 3:11  For we hear that there are some among you that walk disorderly, doing no work themselves, but very busy in the affairs of others.
II T Worsley 3:12  Such we charge and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that they work quietly and earn their own bread.
II T Worsley 3:13  But be not you, my brethren, discouraged from well-doing. And if any obey not our order,
II T Worsley 3:14  by this epistle, mark such a one, and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed.
II T Worsley 3:15  However do not look upon him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
II T Worsley 3:16  Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in all places. The Lord be with you all.
II T Worsley 3:17  The salutation of me Paul by my own hand, which is the token in every epistle; for so I write,
II T Worsley 3:18  "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all." Amen.
