11:2  a k jiným králům na severu v pohoří, v Jordánském úvalu jižně od Kinarótu, v Přímořské nížině i v Dórské pahorkatině na západě.

11:2  And to the kings that [were] on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Cinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

11:2  and to the kings who were on the north, in the hill country, in the Arabah south of Chinneroth, in the lowland, and in the heights of Dor on the west,

11:3  To the Chanaanites also on the east and on the west, and the Amorrhite, and the Hethite, and the Pherezite, and the Jebusite in the mountains: to the Hevite also who dwelt at the foot of Hermon in the land of Maspha.

11:3  And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

11:3  Na východě i na západě byli Kenaanci, v pohoří Emorejci, Chetejci, Perizejci a Jebúsejci, pod Chermónem v zemi Mispě Chivejci.

11:3  Na východě i na západě byli Kanaánci, v pohořích Emorejci, Chetejci, Perizejci a Jebusejci a pod Hermonem v kraji Micpa byli Hivejci.

11:3  Kenaanci byli na východě a na západě, Emorejci, Chetejci, Perizejci a Jebúsejci v pohoří a Chivejci pod Chermónem v zemi Mispě.

11:3  [And to] the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and [to] the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and [to] the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

11:4  And they all came out with their troops, a people exceeding numerous as the sand that is on the sea shore, their horses also and chariots a very great multitude,

11:4  And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.

11:4  Ti všichni vytáhli se svými šiky, lid početný jako písek na mořském břehu, a velmi mnoho koní a vozů.

11:4  Ti vytáhli se všemi svými vojsky – lidí jako písku na mořském břehu a nesmírné množství koní a vozů.

11:4  I vytáhli všickni ti a všecka vojska jejich s nimi, lid mnohý jako písek, kterýž jest na břehu mořském nesčíslný, i koňů i vozů velmi mnoho.

11:4  And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, many people, even as the sand that [is] upon the sea-shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very numerous.

11:6  And the Lord said to Joshua: Fear them not: for to morrow at this same hour I will deliver all these to be slain in the sight of Israel: thou shalt hamstring their horses, and thou shalt burn their chariots with fire.

11:6  Tu řekl Hospodin Jozuovi: „Neboj se jich, neboť já je zítra v tuto dobu vydám Izraeli všechny skolené; jejich koně ochromíš a jejich vozy spálíš ohněm.“

11:6  Hospodin ale řekl Jozuovi: „Neboj se jich. Způsobím, že zítra touto dobou budou všichni ležet před Izraelem mrtví. Jejich koně ochromíš a jejich vozy spálíš.“

11:6  Tu řekl Hospodin Jozuovi: ⌈Neboj se jich,⌉ neboť já je zítra touto dobou všechny uvrhnu probodené před Izrael. Jejich koně ochromíš a jejich válečné vozy spálíš ohněm.

11:6  Řekl pak Hospodin k Jozue: Neboj se jich, nebo zítra o této chvíli vydám všecky tyto k zabití Izraelovi; koňům jejich žily podřežeš, a vozy jejich ohněm spálíš.

11:6  And the LORD said to Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to-morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

11:6  The Lord said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid because of them; for tomorrow at this time, I will deliver them up all slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire."

11:8  A Hospodin je vydal Izraeli do rukou. Pobíjeli je a pronásledovali až k velkému Sidónu, k Misrefót-majimu a na východě k planině Mispě; pobíjeli je, že z nich nezůstal nikdo, kdo by vyvázl.

11:8  Hospodin je vydal Izraeli do rukou, takže je pobíjeli a pronásledovali až k Velkému Sidonu, k Misrefot-majim a směrem na východ až k údolí Micpe. Pobíjeli je, až nikdo nepřežil.

11:10  V téže době se Jozue obrátil a dobyl Chasór a jeho krále zabil mečem; Chasór byl totiž dříve hlavou všech těchto království.

11:12  Dobyl i všechna města těchto králů; všechny jejich krále Jozue zajal a pobil ostřím meče. Vyhubil je jako klaté, jak přikázal služebník Hospodinův Mojžíš.

11:12  Jozue se zmocnil všech těchto královských měst i jejich králů a pobil je ostřím meče. Vyhladil je jako proklaté, jak přikázal Hospodinův služebník Mojžíš.

11:12  And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, Joshua took, and smote them with the edge of the sword, [and] he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.

11:12  Et omnes per circuitum civitates, regesque earum, cepit, percussit atque delevit, sicut præceperat ei Moyses famulus Domini.

11:13  Except the cities that were on hills and high places, the rest Israel burned: only Asor that was very strong he consumed with fire.

11:13  But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.

11:13  Avšak z měst, postavených na svých pahorcích, nevypálil Izrael žádné. Jozue vypálil jenom Chasór.

11:14  And the children of Israel divided among themselves all the spoil of these cities and the cattle, killing all the men.

11:14  Všechnu kořist z těch měst a dobytek si Izraelci nechali jako lup. Zato každého člověka zabili ostřím meče, až všechny vyhladili. Neponechali nic, co dýchalo.

11:14  Synové Izraele si mezi sebou rozdělili všechnu kořist i dobytek z těch měst. Všechny lidi ale pobili ostřím meče, úplně je vyhubili. Neušetřili ani živou duši.

11:14  Všechnu kořist z těchto měst a dobytek jim synové Izraele zabrali. Každého člověka ovšem zabili ostřím meče, až je vyhladili. Neponechali z nich žádného, kdo dýchal.

11:14  A všecky loupeže měst těch i hovada rozdělili mezi sebou synové Izraelští; toliko všecky lidi zbili mečem, dokudž nevyhladili jich, nenechavše žádného živého.

11:14  And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey to themselves: but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.

11:15  As the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua: he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses.

11:16  Jozue zabral celou tu zemi: pohoří i celý Negeb, celou zemi Gošen, Přímořskou nížinu i Jordánskou pustinu, izraelské pohoří i přilehlou Přímořskou nížinu,

11:16  Tak Jozue zabral celou tu zem – hory, celý Negev, celý kraj Gošen, podhůří i pláň Arava – izraelské hory i jejich podhůří,

11:16  A tak Jozue zabral celou tuto zemi: Pohoří a celý Negeb, celou zemi Gošen a Šefelu, Arabu a izraelské pohoří i jeho podhůří.

11:16  A tak vzal Jozue všecku tu zemi, hory i všecku stranu polední, i všecku zemi Gosen, i roviny, i pole, totiž hory Izraelské i roviny jejich,
