Chapter 47
Psal DRC 47:1  A psalm of a canticle, for the sons of Core, on the second day of the week.
Psal VulgClem 47:1  Psalmus cantici. Filiis Core, secunda sabbati.
Psal KJV 47:1  O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
Psal DRC 47:2  Great is the Lord, and exceedingly to be praised in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.
Psal VulgClem 47:2  Magnus Dominus et laudabilis nimis, in civitate Dei nostri, in monte sancto ejus.
Psal KJV 47:2  For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
Psal DRC 47:3  With the joy of the whole earth is mount Sion founded, on the sides of the north, the city of the great king.
Psal VulgClem 47:3  Fundatur exsultatione universæ terræ mons Sion ; latera aquilonis, civitas regis magni.
Psal KJV 47:3  He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
Psal DRC 47:4  In her houses shall God be known, when he shall protect her.
Psal VulgClem 47:4  Deus in domibus ejus cognoscetur cum suscipiet eam.
Psal KJV 47:4  He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
Psal DRC 47:5  For behold the kings of the earth assembled themselves: they gathered together.
Psal VulgClem 47:5  Quoniam ecce reges terræ congregati sunt ; convenerunt in unum.
Psal KJV 47:5  God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
Psal DRC 47:6  So they saw, and they wondered, they were troubled, they were moved:
Psal VulgClem 47:6  Ipsi videntes, sic admirati sunt, conturbati sunt, commoti sunt.
Psal KJV 47:6  Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
Psal DRC 47:7  Trembling took hold of them. There were pains as of a woman in labour.
Psal VulgClem 47:7  Tremor apprehendit eos ; ibi dolores ut parturientis :
Psal KJV 47:7  For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
Psal DRC 47:8  With a vehement wind thou shalt break in pieces the ships of Tharsis.
Psal VulgClem 47:8  in spiritu vehementi conteres naves Tharsis.
Psal KJV 47:8  God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
Psal DRC 47:9  As we have heard, so have we seen, in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God hath founded it for ever.
Psal VulgClem 47:9  Sicut audivimus, sic vidimus, in civitate Domini virtutum, in civitate Dei nostri : Deus fundavit eam in æternum.
Psal KJV 47:9  The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
Psal DRC 47:10  We have received thy mercy, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

Psal DRC 47:11  According to thy name, O God, so also is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of justice.
Psal VulgClem 47:11  Secundum nomen tuum, Deus, sic et laus tua in fines terræ ; justitia plena est dextera tua.

Psal DRC 47:12  Let mount Sion rejoice, and the daughters of Juda be glad; because of thy judgments, O Lord.
Psal VulgClem 47:12  Lætetur mons Sion, et exsultent filiæ Judæ, propter judicia tua, Domine.

Psal DRC 47:13  Surround Sion, and encompass her: tell ye in her towers.
Psal VulgClem 47:13  Circumdate Sion, et complectimini eam ; narrate in turribus ejus.

Psal DRC 47:14  Set your hearts on her strength; and distribute her houses, that ye may relate it in another generation.
Psal VulgClem 47:14  Ponite corda vestra in virtute ejus, et distribuite domos ejus, ut enarretis in progenie altera.

Psal DRC 47:15  For this is God, our God unto eternity, and for ever and ever: he shall rule us for evermore.
Psal VulgClem 47:15  Quoniam hic est Deus, Deus noster in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi : ipse reget nos in sæcula.
