HEBREWS
Chapter 2
Hebr | LO | 2:1 | (On this account, we ought to attend the more earnestly to the things which were heard; lest at any time we should left them slip.
Hebr | LO | 2:2 | For if the word spoken by angels was firm, and every transgression and disobedience received a just retribution;
Hebr | LO | 2:3 | how shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? which, beginning to be spoken by the Lord, was confirmed to us by them who heard him;
Hebr | LO | 2:4 | God, also, bearing witness, both by signs and wonders, and divers miracles, and distributions of the Holy Spirit, according to his own pleasure.)
Hebr | LO | 2:5 | Moreover, he has not subjected to the angels the world to come, of which we are speaking.
Hebr | LO | 2:6 | But one in a certain place has testified, saying, "What is man that thou art mindful of him--or the son of man, that thou dost regard him?

Hebr | LO | 2:14 | Since, then, the children partook of flesh and blood; he, also, in like manner, partook of these; that, through death, he might vanquish him who had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Hebr | LO | 2:15 | and deliver them, who, through fear of death, were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Hebr | LO | 2:16 |
For, indeed, he has not at all assumed the
Hebr | LO | 2:17 | Hence, it was necessary for him to be made like his brethren in all things; that he might be a merciful and faithful High Priest, in matters pertaining to God, in order to expiate the sins of the people;
