Chapter 3
Hebr LO 3:1  Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, attentively consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest whom we have confessed;
Hebr LO 3:2  who, as well as Moses, is faithful to him that appointed him over all his house.
Hebr LO 3:3  Indeed, he has been accounted worthy of glory, as far superior to Moses, as that of the builder is superior to the house.
Hebr LO 3:4  Now every house is built by some one; but he, the builder of all things, is God.
Hebr LO 3:5  And Moses, indeed, as a servant, was faithful in all his house, for a testimony of the things that were to be spoken by him ;
Hebr LO 3:6  but Christ, as a Son, over his own house--whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence, and the rejoicing of our hope, unshaken to the end.
Hebr LO 3:7  Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "To-day, if you will hear his voice,
Hebr LO 3:8  harden not your hearts, as in the bitter provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness;
Hebr LO 3:9  where your fathers tempted me, and proved me, yet saw my works for forty years.
Hebr LO 3:10  Wherefore, I was displeased with that generation, and said, They always err in heart, and they have not known my ways.
Hebr LO 3:11  So, I swore, in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest."
Hebr LO 3:12  Brethren, take heed, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, by departing from the living God.
Hebr LO 3:13  But, lest any of you be hardened, through the deceitfulness of sin, exhort one another every day, while it is called To-day:
Hebr LO 3:14  (for we are all partakers of Christ, if, indeed, we hold fast this first confidence firm to the end;)
Hebr LO 3:15  with this saying, "To-day, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the bitter provocation."
Hebr LO 3:16  For some, when they heard, did bitterly provoke; yet, not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
Hebr LO 3:17  Was it not with them who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
Hebr LO 3:18  And to whom did he swear, that they should not enter into his rest, but to them who did not believe?
Hebr LO 3:19  So, we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
