3:1  It is commonly said: If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and marry another man, shall he return to her any more? shall not that woman be polluted, and defiled? but thou hast prostituted thyself to many lovers: nevertheless return to me, saith the Lord, and I will receive thee.

3:1  They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the Lord.

3:1  Řekl: „Jestliže muž propustí svou ženu a ona od něho odejde a vdá se za jiného, smí se k ní znovu vrátit? Což by tím země nebyla nesmírně potřísněna? Smilnila jsi s mnoha druhy, avšak vrať se ke mně, je výrok Hospodinův.

3:1  „Řekněme, že někdo propustí manželku, ta od něj odejde a vdá se za jiného. Copak se k ní může zase vrátit? Tím by se země hrozně poskvrnila! Tys ale smilnila s tolika milenci, a chceš se ke mně vrátit?“ praví Hospodin.

3:1  ⌈Řekněme, že⌉ muž propustí svou ženu a ta od něho odejde a stane se ženou jiného muže. Cožpak se k ní ještě navrátí? Cožpak by ta země nebyla zcela znesvěcena? A ty jsi smilnila s mnoha druhy, a navracíš se ke mně? je Hospodinův výrok.

3:1  Dí dále: Propustil-li by muž ženu svou, a ona odejduc od něho, vdala by se za jiného muže, zdaliž se navrátí k ní více? Zdaliž by hrozně nebyla poškvrněna země ta? Ale ty, ač jsi smilnila s milovníky mnohými, a však navratiž se ke mně, dí Hospodin.

3:2  Lift up thy eyes on high: and see where thou hast not prostituted thyself: thou didst sit in the ways, waiting for them as a robber in the wilderness: and thou hast polluted the land with thy fornications, and with thy wickedness.

3:2  Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.

3:2  Pozdvihni své oči na holá návrší a pohleď: Kde ses neposkvrnila nevěrou? Kvůli nim jsi vysedávala při cestách jako Arab na poušti, potřísnila jsi zemi svým smilstvem, svými zlořády.

3:2  „Jen se rozhlédni kolem dokola: Na kterém holém vršku ses neválela? Čekalas na milence někde u cesty, jako beduín vysedává na poušti. Svým smilstvem a svou zkažeností jsi poskvrnila zemi!

3:2  Pozvedni oči k ⌈holým návrším⌉ a podívej se, kdepak jsi neležela! Usadila ses kvůli nim na cestách jako Arab v pustině. Znesvětila jsi zemi svým smilstvem a svým zlem.

3:2  Pozdvihni očí svých k vysokým místům, a pohleď, kdes necizoložila? Na cestách usazovalas se jim jako Arab na poušti, a poškvrnila jsi země smilstvím svým a nešlechetností svou.

3:2  Lift up thy eyes to the high places, and see where thou hast not been lain with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy acts of lewdness, and with thy wickedness.

3:2  "Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been lain with? You have sat for them by the ways, as an Arabian in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your prostitution and with your wickedness.

3:3  Therefore the showers were withholden, and there was no lateward rain: thou hadst a harlot's forehead, thou wouldst not blush.

3:3  Byla zadržena vláha, nepřišel podzimní déšť, ale ty máš čelo nevěstky, odvrhla jsi stud.

3:3  Když potom přestal padat liják a nepřišel ani jarní déšť, byla jsi zatvrzelá jako coura, odmítala ses zastydět.

3:4  Therefore at the least from this time call to me: Thou art my father, the guide of my virginity:

3:5  Wilt thou be angry for ever, or wilt thou continue unto the end? Behold, thou hast spoken, and hast done evil things, and hast been able.

3:5  Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.

3:5  Ale říkáš: ‚Bude mě na věky hlídat, ustavičně stát na stráži?‘ Hle, mluvíš a pácháš zlé věci, jak jen můžeš.“

3:5  Snad se nebudeš hněvat věčně? Zůstaneš navždy rozzloben?‘ Takto mluvíš, a přitom hle – pácháš zlo, jak jen dovedeš!“

3:5  Což se bude hněvat navěky? Neustále bude chovat hněv? Podívej, to jsi říkala, ale to zlo jsi páchala, kdykoli jsi mohla.

3:5  Zdaliž Bůh držeti bude hněv na věčnost? Zdali chovati jej bude na věky? Aj, mluvíš i pášeš zlé věci, jakž jen můžeš.

3:5  Will he retain [his anger] for ever? will he keep [it] to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldst.

3:5  numquid irasceris in perpetuum, aut perseverabis in finem ? ecce locuta es, et fecisti mala, et potuisti.

3:6  And the Lord said to me in the days of king Josias: Hast thou seen what rebellious Israel hath done? she hath gone of herself upon every high mountain, and under every green tree, and hath played the harlot there.

3:6  The Lord said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

3:6  Hospodin mi za dnů krále Jóšijáše řekl: „Viděl jsi, co provedla ta izraelská odpadlice? Chodila na kdejakou vysokou horu i pod kdejaký zelený strom a smilnila tam.

3:6  Za dnů krále Jošiáše mi Hospodin řekl: „Vidíš, co provádí ta poběhlice Izrael? Tahá se na kdejaký vyšší kopec a pod kdejaký košatý strom, aby tam smilnila.

3:6  Ve dnech krále Jóšijáše mi Hospodin řekl: Viděl jsi, co páchala izraelská odpadlice? Chodila na každou vyvýšenou horu, pod každý zelený strom a tam smilnila.

3:6  Tedy řekl mi Hospodin za dnů Joziáše krále: Viděl-lis, co činila zpurná dcera Izraelská? Chodívala na každou horu vysokou, i pod každé dřevo zelené, a tam smilnila.

3:6  The LORD said also to me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen [that] which backsliding Israel hath done? she hath gone up upon every high mountain, and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

3:6  Moreover, the Lord said to me in the days of Josiah the king, "Have you seen that which backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and there has played the prostitute.

3:7  And when she had done all these things, I said: Return to me, and she did not return. And her treacherous sister Juda saw,

3:7  A ačkoli jsem řekl, když ty všecky věci ona činila: Nechť se navrátí ke mně, však se nenavrátila. Načež hleděla zpronevěřilá sestra její, dcera Judská.

3:7  And I said after she had done all these [things], Turn thou to me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw [it].

3:7  Et dixi, cum fecisset hæc omnia : Ad me revertere : et non est reversa. Et vidit prævaricatrix soror ejus Juda

3:8  That because the rebellious Israel had played the harlot, I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce: yet her treacherous sister Juda was not afraid, but went and played the harlot also herself.

3:8  And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

3:8  Pro všechno cizoložství, jehož se ta izraelská odpadlice dopustila, jsem se rozhodl, že ji propustím, a dal jsem jí rozlukový list. Ale její sestra, judská věrolomnice, se nebála, šla a smilnila také.

3:8  Pročež vidělo mi se pro ty všecky příčiny, poněvadž cizoložila zpurná dcera Izraelská, propustiti ji, a dáti jí lístek zapuzení jejího. Však se vždy neulekla zpronevěřilá sestra její, dcera Judská, ale šedši, smilnila také sama.

3:8  And I saw, when for all the causes by which backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

3:10  Ani po tom všem se ke mně její sestra, judská věrolomnice, neobrátila celým srdcem, nýbrž licoměrně, je výrok Hospodinův.“

3:10  Ani po tom všem se ale ta její sestra, ta zrádkyně Juda, ke mně nevrátila celým srdcem – pouze falešně, praví Hospodin.“

3:10  A ani po tom všem se ke mně její nevěrná judská sestra nenavrátila celým svým srdcem, nýbrž jen falešně, je Hospodinův výrok.

3:10  A však s tím se vším neobrátila se ke mně zpronevěřilá sestra její, dcera Judská, celým srdcem svým, ale pokrytě, praví Hospodin.

3:10  And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned to me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

3:11  Hospodin mi řekl: „Izraelská odpadlice je spravedlivější než ta věrolomnice judská.

3:11  And the LORD said to me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

3:12  Go, and proclaim these words towards the north, and thou shalt say: Return, O rebellious Israel, saith the Lord, and I will not turn away my face from you: for I am holy, saith the Lord, and I will not be angry for ever.

3:12  Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever.

3:12  Jdi a provolej směrem k severu tato slova: Navrať se, izraelská odpadlice, je výrok Hospodinův, já se na vás neosopím, neboť jsem milosrdný, je výrok Hospodinův, nechovám hněv navěky.

3:12  Jdi a volej tato slova směrem na sever: Izraeli, ty poběhlice, vrať se, praví Hospodin; nebudu už na vás hledět s nevolí. Jsem přece milosrdný, praví Hospodin, a nehněvám se navěky.

3:12  Jdi a volej ⌈na sever⌉ tato slova. Říkej: Navrať se izraelská odpadlice! je Hospodinův výrok. ⌈Nebudu se na vás tvářit zamračeně,⌉ vždyť jsem milosrdný, je Hospodinův výrok, nebudu se hněvat navěky.

3:12  Jdi a volej slovy těmito ku půlnoci, a rci: Navrať se, zpurná dcero Izraelská, dí Hospodin, a neoboří se tvář má zůřivá na vás; nebo já dobrotivý jsem, dí Hospodin, aniž držím hněvu na věčnost.

3:12  Go and proclaim these words towards the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; [and] I will not cause my anger to fall upon you: for I [am] merciful, saith the LORD, [and] I will not keep [anger] for ever.

3:12  Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, 'Return, you backsliding Israel,' says the Lord; 'I will not look in anger on you; for I am merciful,' says the Lord. 'I will not keep anger forever.

3:12  Vade, et clama sermones istos contra aquilonem, et dices : Revertere, aversatrix Israël, ait Dominus, et non avertam faciem meam a vobis, quia sanctus ego sum, dicit Dominus, et non irascar in perpetuum.

3:13  But yet acknowledge thy iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God: and thou hast scattered thy ways to strangers under every green tree, and hast not heard my voice, saith the Lord.

3:13  Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord.

3:13  Poznej však svou nepravost, dopustila ses nevěry vůči Hospodinu, svému Bohu, zaměřila jsi své cesty k bohům cizím, pod kdejaký zelený strom, mne jsi neposlouchala, je výrok Hospodinův.“

3:13  Jen uznej, že ses provinila, žes byla Hospodinu, svému Bohu, nevěrná, že jsi stále jen za cizími běhala pod kdejaký strom košatý, mě jsi však neposlouchala, praví Hospodin.

3:13  Jen uznej svou vinu, že ses vzbouřila proti Hospodinu, svému Bohu, a ⌈proplýtvala jsi svou přízeň⌉ na cizince pod každým zeleným stromem a mě jste neposlouchali, je Hospodinův výrok.

3:13  Jen toliko poznej nepravost svou, že jsi od Hospodina Boha svého odstoupila, a sem i tam běhala cestami svými k cizím pod každé dřevo zelené, a hlasu mého neposlouchali jste, dí Hospodin.

3:13  Only acknowledge thy iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.

3:14  Return, O ye revolting children, saith the Lord: for I am your I husband: and I will take you, one of a city, and two of a kindred, and will bring you into Sion.

3:14  Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

3:14  „Navraťte se, odpadlí synové, je výrok Hospodinův, neboť já jsem váš manžel. Přijmu vás, po jednom z města, po dvou z čeledi, a uvedu vás na Sijón.
